-       “ Seungcheol? “. Young Mi whispered. She couldn´t believe it. The guy he met a week ago was in front of his eyes… but with a different style. Young Mi frowned a little as she saw Seungcheol. She could tell that she can see him, but he didn’t look like she saw a week ago. Back there, he looked nice and kind but here, he looked cold and serious like he was the death or something.   -       “ Please take your seats “. The teacher said. They bowed to Mr Go and headed to the empty seats. Soonyoung sat on the forth line of the third column while Seungcheol and Wonwoo sat on the third line of the middle column. Seungcheol glanced at his left and locked eyes with Young Mi. Her eyes were showing confusion and curiosity wondering about how did he end being in the same class as her, and the most important… did they go to the same school before?   But Seungcheol just turned around and faced the blackboard, not even greeting at Young Mi, pretending that he doesn’t know her. Young Mi frowned. “ Did he just ignore me? Why isn’t he saying hi to me? “.   -       “ Yah! That boy… Seungcheol, god he’s damn hot! “. Hyerin said as she stared at Seungcheol with dreamy eyes. Young Mi forced a smile but then she glanced back at Seungcheol, who was avoiding her gaze.     The bell rang and it was break time. Young Mi kept wondering and waiting Seungcheol to look at her, but he kept ignoring her like she was a stranger to him. She started to get frustrated because of that.   “ Did I do something wrong to him? Why is he avoiding me? “. She thought. She sighed and turned around, only to face the new student Soonyoung’s face closer to hers. She yelped as she leaned back as Hyerin held her.   -       “ Yah! What happened? “. Hyerin asked as she helped Young Mi to sat back. -       “ Oh! I know you! “. Soonyoung exclaimed with a smile as he pointed at her. -       “ Me? “. Young Mi titled her head at a side. -       “ You are Young Mi, right? “. -       “ …Yeah? “. -       “ I knew it! I knew I saw you somewhere before! “. Soonyoung clapped his hands, making Young Mi startled a little. -       “ And how did you know me? “. Young Mi wondered. -       “ Well- “. -       “ Soonyoung-ah “. A voice called.   Soonyoung and Young Mi turned to the owner of the voice and realized that it was Seungcheol.   -       “ Huh? “. Soonyoung asked. -       “ Let’s not talk to strangers, okay? “. Seungcheol said.   Young Mi frowned by his comment. “ Is he sick or something? Am I a stranger to him? “.   -       “ Wait, I thought- “. -       “ I will go to the bathroom “. Seungcheol said as he stood up and left the bathroom.   Young Mi scoffed as she stood up.   -       “ Hyerin, I will go to the restroom “. Young Mi said and walked away from the classroom. She looked at the sides and spotted Seungcheol walking on the right side of the corridor. Young Mi blew a raspberry and jogged toward Seungcheol. “ Yah! Choi Seungcheol! “. She said as she reached to him and she was walking next to him. “ Yah! Why are you avoiding, huh? Why are you ignoring me? “. Still, he didn’t answer. “ Why are you pretending that we don’t know each other? “. She asked. But Seungcheol kept ignoring her. “Yah! I’m talking to you! “ She said as she grabbed his wrist to stop him but then he abruptly yanked her hand away, surprising by his sudden action. -       “ Do I know you? Why do you keep following? “. Seungcheol snapped with a glare. -       “ Seungcheol-ah… “. Young Mi whispered with hurt and confusion in her eyes. -       “ Do me a favor and get lost “. He growled as he walked away.   Young Mi glanced at him and scoffed as she looked away and then looked back at him.   -       “ I don’t get it. Why did his attitude suddenly change? He isn’t the Seungcheol I met a week ago “. She said as she glanced at the back of Seungcheol getting far away.       Seungcheol entered in the restroom and sighed as he ruffled his hair in frustration. Then he kicked the door of a toilet and let out a yell of frustration from his mouth. He ran his hand through his hair and rested them on the back of his head.   -       “ How did she end up being in the same school as me?! God damn it! “. He let his hands fell on his sides and looked at the ceiling. “ She just saw the other side of me, and it will get worse…. I didn’t want her to see me like that “. He sighed and leaned against the sink and rubbed his face with his hands. “ I’m sorry Young Mi “. That’s the only thing he could say.                 During lunchtime, Young Mi has been spacing out while repeating Seungcheol’s words in her mind.   -       “ Young Mi! “. Hyerin yelled. -       “ Sorry, what? “. Young Mi said as she blankly stared at Hyerin. -       “ What’s wrong with you? You’ve been like this ever since you went to the bathroom “. -       “ I ah… something came in my mind “. -       “ Like what? “. -       “ I just…thought about grandma “. She lied. -       “ Why? Is she having trouble with the money? “. Hyerin asked with concern. -       No, but… I feel bad for her. She is in the age of retirement but she keeps working because of Chan and me. I was considering in getting a job by the end of the week “. -       “ Ow… poor you “. Hyerin pouted. “ Do you need help? “. She asked. Young Mi softened and shook her head.   -       “ No… you already helped me with Chan’s education. I can’t ask you more money since we still owned you that money “.   Hyerin was from a quite wealthy family since her father was doctor, a dentist to be exactly while her mother was a great lawyer of Seoul. They had the charisma and the seriousness in their faces, but actually they are really nice toward Young Mi’s family. Especially since Young Mi’s mother and Hyerin’s mother were friends since high school. -       “ Hey! That was a gift! You don’t own me anything, okay? “. -       “ But still… “. -       “ And what is it this time? “. -       “ We need to pay for the house bill plus Chan needs new shoes for his dancing class and also I need to pay for the extra lessons I had last year “. -       “ Which is? “. -       “ Over 1.500.000 won? “. -       “ Oh God… “. Hyerin hung her jaw down with a look of ‘ Are you kidding me? ‘. -       “ See? That’s why I don’t want to ask money from you “. -       “ Well… how about this? We get a job during weekends and the half of my earning goes to you “. -       “ Would you really do that? “. Young Mi asked feeling touched by her friend’s suggestion. -       “ Of course! That’s what friends do! “. Hyerin beamed. Young Mi softened. -       “ Thanks Hyerin, what would I do if you weren’t there for me? “. -       “ Then you would have been an outcast “. -       “ Ouch? “. Young Mi arched an eyebrow, feeling offended by the comment.   Hyerin giggled and so did Young Mi. Suddenly, they heard girls squealing and screaming as they jumped in excitement.   -       “ Is that? “. Young Mi asked. -       “ Oh yeah “. Hyerin nodded. The two of them turned their heads to the cafeteria entrance and spotted the members of 7ACES walking between the crowded people.   Young Mi sighed.   -       “ Why do the girls waste time in fangirling over boys who aren’t a KPop group? “. Young Mi shook her head in disbelief. -       “ But you have to admit that they are talented in singing and dancing “. Hyerin commented. -       “ Well, yeah. But- “. -       “ And they also are gorgeous, especially Jisoo “. Hyerin dreamily sighed. -       “ How did we end up being friends? “. Young Mi asked in a teasing way with an arched eyebrow. Hyerin gasped and threw Young Mi a piece of grape, causing Young Mi to laugh. Jisoo and his friends sat three tables away from Young Mi’s. He looked at her and smiled when he saw her laughing. He glanced at her while resting his chin on his palm. He usually did that. He would stared at her and smile when she was smiling or laughing. He enjoyed seeing her happy. Junghan looked at Jisoo, following his gaze until his eyes landed on Young Mi. He smirked and elbowed Jisoo, causing him to snap his thoughts away.   -       “ Enjoying the view, man? “. Junghan teased. -       “ Shut up “. Jisoo mumbled before shoving a chip in his mouth. -       “ So, I heard the Black Diamonds joined your class “. Seokmin started the conversation. -       “ Yeah “. Ji Hoon sighed. -       “ Two of them also joined our class “. Seungkwan said with an annoyed face. -       “ Why did they suddenly changed their classrooms? Do they want to compete with us? “. Ji Hoon asked. -       “ Come on, man! The only thing they can do is rap! Singing is better than rapping, isn’t it? “. Seungkwan said. -       “ Well, as long as they don't cause trouble to us then everything is fine, right, Jisoo? “. Junghan asked as he turned to Jisoo.   Jisoo was too busy staring at Young Mi that he wasn’t able to hear all the conversation.   -       “ Jisoo! “. -       “ Yeah? “. Jisoo turned to Junghan.
