Chapter 7
The Nuisance That is Lee HyukjaeThe nine schoolboys, who had been gathered in Park’s spacious office, all had varying levels of guilt. They had all been sat in Mr Park’s office for the grand total of 10 minutes and not a single word had been said besides “sit.” There were only six chairs, so Hyukjae, Siwon and Kyuhyun had leant against the wall.
For Donghae and Ryeowook, who had never been sent to the head teacher’s office before, this, was a new –albeit scary- experience. Yesung, however, had a mischievous side to him so this was definitely not his first time being on the receiving end of one of Mr Park’s lectures. He comforted his boyfriend by holding his hand and giving it a comforting squeeze.
Kyuhyun was also not a stranger to the room and was currently bored out of his mind. The only way he could think of passing the time was to stare at his bunny, who still seemed to be on another planet. The blonde boy was looking at everything with a dazed gleam to his wide eyes. At some point during his exploration of the room he locked eyes with Kyu, who smirked when he noticed the elder blush. Who knew the Kung Fu bunny could be so cute.
Mr Park sat behind his brown mahogany desk, with his head leaning on his propped up hands, doing nothing but staring at each person in turn. Each of them was a thing to behold. They all looked like they needed to walk through a car wash twice and Mr Park couldn’t help but sigh as he thought of the mess they would leave in his spotless room.
“Look Leetuek, I know we’re all unbelievably handsome but how long are you gonna stare at us for?” Hyukjae smirked, satisfied when he saw the man’s eye twitch.
But Mr Park refused to be bested by his most troublesome student. “How many times do I have to tell you that it’s Mr Park to you?”
The members of Super Junior laughed and Kyuhyun could be heard muttering, “The leader of SuJu graduates and all of a sudden he’s better than us.” The remaining boys were shocked by the new information. Mr Park used to be a part of Super Junior!
Mr Park groaned lightly as he leaned back in his chair and ran a hand through his immaculate light brown hair. “Is this your way of punishing me then, completely ing up my facilities?” Park Jungsoo saw no reason in being fake with his former friends. Little gasps could be heard from Donghae and his friends, who never pictured their perfect, young headmaster using such colourful language. “And you guys,” He turned his gaze on Donghae and his friends, “I’d heard rumours about you joining the dark side, but had hoped it was untrue, evidently not. I expected so much better from you Lee Donghae. I never would have accepted you into my school if I knew you were going to be a trouble maker by following Lee Hyukjae and his group of idiots.”
Donghae bowed his head in shame at Mr Park’s harsh words, the submissive action causing Hyuk’s blood to boil. No one spoke to his fishey like that. “Don’t talk to him like that.” He snarled through clenched teeth. “Besides, we started it so leave them the alone.” In that moment, Donghae was glad he had befriended Hyukjae. Donghae liked this protective side to Hyukjae. It showed that he was someone who cared for his friends.
“I understand you’re upset but you shouldn’t speak
