You had just arrived home with the groceries when an excited Takeru came into view with a big smile on his face.

“Are you that hungry?” You asked with a small laugh seeing his expression. Takeru pouted and hugged you.

“Yes!” He answered.

“You can help me cook curry. Then you will get food faster.” You said with a small smirk on your face. Takeru looked down on you for a second and then agreed to help.

You put out the different groceries you were going to use on the countertop and put the rest in the fridge.  

“You can start by chopping the carrots and potatoes.” You said to Takeru as you prepared some beef. Takeru nodded and carefully started to chop the potatoes.

After a couple of minutes you turn around to look at Takeru’s process, expecting him to be almost done. When you saw how slow he was going you chuckled to yourself.

“Are you that afraid of the potato, even though you have a knife?” You asked in a playful manner. Takeru looked at you and smiled.

“I want to do it perfect for you.” Takeru answered which made you blush.
