CHAPTER ELEVEN - THE TRUTH.
#03 - My Life In High School
Onew oppa took me away from the others, saying that he wants to take a walk. We both left the rest and headed our way. The both of us were walking down real slow, till we stopped and sat on a bench under a shady tree.
" NaeRin ah, are you okay? " Onew broke the silence
" Neh oppa, why wouldn't i be? " i smiled
" Confess to taemin. " He firmly suggested
I looked at him and gave him a confused look.
" He's attached to my bestfriend, sekyung. I've never told you because i knew you'd be worried. Sorry oppa. " I blurt out, looking down
He broke out into a hysterical laughter.
" Oppa, are you done? " I said, with a small glare
" Mianhe NaeRin. Trust Oppa, he's not. I mean yes, he is. But he did that because he was tricked. You see, sekyung and pu yin aren't sincere in befriending you. They caught you while you were hanging out with us. That, i don't know how. But as you were quietly putting the chocolate, they were watching you and i guess on that day when they introduced themselves to you was because they thought that it was a good time to strike. Anyway, the plan was to trick you and taemin. The both of them made used of taemin's naiveness and yours. Sekyung liked taemin, that was why she did that. Please NaeRin, don't be fooled by them. Sekyung told taemin that by being together with her, you'll get jealous and all and that you'll probably confess, sekyung knew you're not the type of person but she lied to taemin that you are. Anyway, i'm sure you get my point. Right? " Oppa explained.
My face grew in shock and disbelief as i registered that chunk of words.
" But taemin really likes me? " I asked, still doubtful
" Yes. At first, i thought that he said that you're pretty and he likes you out of childlikeness and all, just like he did to other noonas in SMENT, however, to go to this point just proves how much he likes you. Here, take this. " Oppa handed me a note.
I unfolded the note and read aloud.
TAEMIN HOPES THAT THE CHOCOLATE FAN IS NOONA.
TAEMIN HEART NOONA, NAERIN NOONA.
My tears begain falling, like a river bank. Tears of joy and sadness. I was sad because the friends that i thought i had, betrayed me. However happy because taemin likes me.
" Do you believe me now? " Oppa wriggled his eyebrows
" Neh! Forever. " I called out and threw him a hug
Taemin
After hyung and noona left, the four of us sat under the shady spot.
" Taemin ah, will you get angry with hyungs? " Jonghyun hyung abruptly asked
" No, never. Because hyungs will definitely have a good reason for doing things. Waeyo? " I tilted my head
" Good. Listen to this carefully alright? " Key umma handed me his cell
I accepted it and started to listen to what was being played. It was that ugly noona's voice, spilling about those bad things. I got angrier every seconds and minutes, listening to that peice of crap. I handed it back to Key umma, as i huffed and puffed. (I'm sorry, but i really don't know how to describe the actions when you are angry, your chest comes out and in. HEHE!)
" Tae ah, Gwenchana? " Key umma asked concernly
" Neh umma. Why must ugly noona do this to us? " I screamed angrily
" Taemin ah, calm down. Now that you know the truth, you can confess to naeRin! Do you wanna know who is the chocolate giver? " Jjong hyung asked
I nodded my head vigourously.
" It's naeRin. Remember the other time you said that you wanted to recieve chocolates from a fan in the car? "
I nodded my head and key umma continued jjong hyung's words.
" Baby doll went straight after dinner and went to buy it. Onew hyung was afraid that she 'll run into some kind of trouble so he went down with her. NaeRin suffered pain in silence, not telling anyone of us because she doesn't want us to worry and she kept her feelings for you to herself because she kept thinking that you deserve better, someone better than her. " Key umma explained
I kept quiet. Noona is beautiful but is also a pabo. I LOVE only noona, nobody else.
NaeRin
" How did you get this paper, anyway? " I asked oppa at the sudden thought
" Oh, i kinda ransacked his room " Oppa rubbed the back of his head
The both of us laughed then made our way to join the others.
Taemin
" She's here! " The four hyungs shouted excitedly
" Hyung! Let's go play water " jjong hyung called out to onew hyung
All of them left, leaving noona and i under the shady tree.
" Taemin ah, are you okay? " Noona broke the silence
" Neh noona. But you aren't, why did you keep it from me and the others? Why do you suffer in silence? " My voice getting louuder and louder at each word
" Taemin ah, calm down. I'm sorry for keeping but i was really not ready to let anyone know. " She hung her head
I moved myself closer and gave her a tight hug.
" Noona saranghaeyo, I really love noona alot. I don't like ugly sekyung noona, they hurt naerin noona. "
We broke apart, she smiled.
" Saranghae, taemin ah "
Soon, all of them walked up towards us, clapping and cheering.
