One the night that you’ve fallen into the lake, you felt better and there was another activity before lights off to sleep. You were kind of traumatized by the incident and did not want to go near any deep water. You went over to where the rest of the dance members were having their dinners.

“Jerelyn, are you alright?” One of your school teachers asked as she saw you walking over. You nodded your head and told her that you are fine. She then handed you the dinner.

“Jerelyn! Sit here!” Chanyeol waved. You smiled to them and walked over to them with your dinner on your hand. Chanyeol make space for you to sit beside him. You were just sitting at the corner of the seat. You opened the packet of your rice and quietly eating it. Suddenly, someone placed a few pieces of pork belly onto your rice. You looked up and saw that it was Baek. “Hey, I don’t need it. You can have it. I know you eat more than I do.” You smiled back and wanted to give him back the pork belly that he placed on your rice.

“No. Just treat it was an apology. I’m really sorry for causing your kayak to capsize.” Baek apologized in tone of remorseful.

“It’s alright. Look, I’m fine now!” You smiled widely back to him. While the both of you were arguing over the pork belly, the rest of EXO members smiled as the 2 of you were fine.

When the dinner is over, the instructors commanded the 24 students to gather for the next activity.

“Okay. The next activity will be a little dangerous because the sky has darkened. You will get in pairs and then walk around the village. Each pairs will also receive a piece of paper and you will have to find 10 stations. You need to get a stamp onto the piece of paper given. Beware not to get lost in the village. It may seems small but you will lose your way easily. We will not form your pairs. So all of you now, get yourself a partner and get a piece of paper from us before going off to start your mission.” One of the instructors told us about the next activity.

Well, at least this activity wasn’t that bad, you thought. EXO members started arguing who to partner with you for the activity. But the sad thing is that one of them has to partner other seniors since the group of you are in odd number. You shook your head when seeing them argue.

“Jerelyn, who are you going to partner with?” Suho asked hoping that you would choose him. You thought for a moment before answering him.

“I’ll go with Kai.” You smiled and went over to stand beside Kai. The rest were shocked at your answer. Kai then mehrong to them as a winning sign. So the rest got themselves a partner and Sehun was the one that chose to partner Donghae.

Kai got the piece of paper from the instructor and we started looking at it. There were clues given to lead you to the station.

“The place where all of you entered into the village.” Kai read one of the clues.

“Ah! The place that we alighted from the bus when we reached here?” You thought over the clue and Kai nodded his head in agreement that he’s thinking of the same place as you. Both of you went off to the station. It was indeed that the road was dark. And only 1 torchlight was given to each pair. Occasionally you will trip over to small rock but luckily you did not fell down.

“Walk carefully.” Kai’s voice was so smoothing. He even held your hand to walk over to the station.

Meanwhile, Kai’s heart is beating really fast. He had no idea why. He just wanted to do all this small gesture for you. He holds the piece of paper and the torchlight. Even though the piece of paper is really light, he still didn’t want you to hold it.

When the both of you were getting to near the station, you suddenly ran forward to the station. “Yay! We’ve found it.” You shouted and Kai had to run towards the station and get the stamp. “Assa!” He did a high-five with you. Kai and you continued with the mission and got a few more stamps. It was really exciting for you because you like to hang out in the dark like this to carry out missions.

“Somewhere near the forest of the village.” You read the last clue that both of you had yet to get the stamp. You looked at Kai with a pair of puzzled eyes.

“Where’s that place?” Kai frowned hearing to that clue. You shrugged your shoulders not knowing the answer. You started walking around aimlessly hoping to get to the destination that you wanted to get to. Kai followed you behind. However, the more you walked, the more the place looked unfamiliar. You had no idea how far you had walked.

“Oppa, where are we now?” You asked Kai when you got a feeling that you are lost. Kai looked around before answering. “I had no idea.” Kai replied. You started to panic after hearing what Kai said. You were so tired of walking and now you are lost in the village. Kai calmed you down before taking out his phone to try calling others. But to no avail. The connection at that area was too weak that it can’t even get through.

It was dark and you were tired. You wanted to get out from the place so much. The torchlight that Kai was holding on was useless. Both of you tried to walk back to the previous station. No matter how you tried to walk back, it seems impossible.

“Are we going to stay here for the night? I’m so tired and… it’s creepy here.” You were on the verge of crying. “Hush. I’m here. And I am sure that we will get out here tonight.” Kai tried to comfort you. Things did not go better but it got worse. While walking aimlessly to try to get back to the previous station, you accidentally tripped over a small rock and you fell onto the ground. Your knees were scraped and there were blood oozing out.

“Ahhhh!” you cried in pain. “Very painnnnn.” You continued screaming while crying. Kai rushed over to you and looked at your wound. “Ouch. Eotteohke? Are you able to walk?” Kai asked. You thought you were able to walk hence you tried standing up with the help from Kai. You were able to stand but it was too pain for you to walk. “Andwae. It’s really pain.” You complained in tears. Kai had no other ways but he bends himself down in the squatting position.

“Get on my back. I will piggyback you.” Kai said while patting his shoulder. You told him that it was alright and doesn’t wish to burden him. But Kai insisted that. You sighed and went on his back. You felt that Kai’s back was comfortable to lie on. *If only he’s my…* you started your thoughts and forgetting that the both of you were lost in the village. *What am I thinking?* your eyes widened and went back focusing on where Kai was walking towards to.

Time past by and when Kai looked at his watch, it shown, ’10.20pm’. All of you were supposed to gather back at the campsite at 10pm. He wondered if anyone had come to look for both of you. “Jerelyn, I really can’t find the way.” He tried to make conversation with you but you did not reply. He turned his back a little to see that you were already fallen asleep on his back. His back must be that comfortable. He continued trying to find his way back without any complaint.

Suddenly, he saw someone’s torchlight shining. “Hey! Anybody there?” Kai asked.

“Are you Kai?” The person replied. “Yes!” Kai shouted back and fastened his pace towards the person. It was some other seniors in the dance club that had found the both of you. They then lead both of you back to the campsite.

Kai placed you down lightly on a chair and told them that you had fallen down earlier on. The medic helped to clear your wounds while you were still asleep. *She must be really tired.* Kai thought. The medic then placed her in the clinic for the night and the rest of the dance club members went back to their own dorm for lights out.
