You know if you’re already bothered by me, just say it.

Dele—no. She’s right. I sigh the third time this morning and I’m supposed to be on cloud nine because the girl who meant the world to me is sleeping in my arms—err, arm. I had to untangle the other to reach for my phone and it felt so numb. No wonder why I don’t do the cuddling with whoever I ended up in bed because as much as at it feels nice, it’s a sore to the muscles. I feel Taeyeon shift and I turn my head to look at her only to meet a pair of sleepy eyes.

“Who pissed you off this early morning?” She asked in a hushed voice. I must have looked annoyed—which I am—and bothered while glaring at my phone in one hand.

“Nothing. Go back to sleep. It’s still,” I glance at the time in my phone. “Seven in the morning and we got all day today. The weather has calmed down and I guess the power’s back since the lights outside are now on.” And I realized I’m too lazy to stand up and turn them off. Oh well. She glances at my phone again and gives me a questioning look. She doesn’t look sleepy anymore. “It’s not something you should worry about.” I assured her.

“Did any of our parents call?”

I want to smack myself mentally. “You ask too many questions and it’s not even lunch yet.”

Taeyeon glares at me at moves away from my touch. It suddenly feels cold without her. “I asked only two questions.”

“Don’t be a smartass.” I bit back. I don’t really want to do this right now and I know I’m acting like an but dealing with Bomi has got nothing to do with her and I don’t want her involved in this silly fiasco I had going on.

She got off the bed and stomped towards the bathroom door but not long before I heard her mumble jerk. Yeah, I deserve that but whatever. I think about Bomi again and her last text. I know I’m being unfair because all she wanted was to hang out, or at least that’s what she said, oh and she said she misses me too. But I have a strong feeling she wanted more despite what we said that it’s a no-strings-attached back then. Though she’s right, I’ve been friends with her after we agreed to stop fooling around. We may have history but I wasn’t lying about the fact that she is nice. Just that, I’m not interested in taking it to another step. It’s not her. And I’ll just end up hurting her if we ever start a relationship knowing I’m never the type of guy who will give her that love. She deserves someone that isn’t me.
