CHAPTER 01

(Baekhyun's POV)

It’s 4 in the morning and my phone’s been ringing like mad.

I got in 2 hours ago. Went home late due to a friend’s party and I didn’t even drank or partied there. I was just there to make sure that the person I was with would be home safe and sound. Good thing the party’s just a few blocks away from the apartment and if ever she felt like puking her guts out, it’s just a few turns away.

Ring~ ring~

Please stop ringing. Please stop ringing.

Riiiiing~

I picked the noisy thing up, looked at the caller I.D.

TAENGKOONG ^w^

…and pressed the answer option. “Damn it. WHAT?!“

“KOONG-AAAAHHH!!! Baekhyunieee~ are you there? Baek? BAEEEK!!”

“Yes, I’m here! Why are you still up?” I tried my best to sound annoyed but I could never really get annoyed at her.  She sounds excited so this must be good. Not to mention she also sounds loud at this ungodly hour. I think my eardrum just abandoned my left ear.

“Can’t sleep. But I called because I have great news!” The way she said great must be really great. For someone who had too many drinks a few hours ago, she sounded sober and perfectly fine. If you call Kim Taeyeon’s excited and giddy voice as ‘sober and perfectly fine’, that is.

“Alright, what’s the great news?”

“GINGER FINALLY OBEYED WHEN I TOLD HIM TO SIT!! ISN’T THAT GREAT??!!”

THAT’S IT?! That’s what she called me at this time of day? That her dog finally obeyed her "SIT"?! This girl.. I swear... Then again, her mind's probably still buzzing from the alcohol she consumed at the party so I'd let this pass. For now. My ear’s still recovering from her voice. She’s surely screaming on the other line now, yapping about Ginger finally sitting down and how proud she is as an owner and traine
