Sehun was confused to say the least. His head still hurt and he had no idea why he was having lunch with an awfully chirpy Luhan instead of making up with Tao.

Making up? Was that even an option now? He cheated on him, didn't he? Wait, is it considered cheating when you're not together anymore?

Sehun wanted to scream. He couldn't remember a thing after their fight, he must have gotten seriously drunk. How did he manage to drink so much? According to Luhan, he showed up drunk at his apartment but he couldn't possibly comprehend how he did that. He had no memory of entering a bar, all he remembered was arriving at Luhan's doorstep, feeling weak and miserable.

But the boy sitting right in front of him had no reason to lie, right? Sehun's only option was to trust him.

"Lu", he managed to say, "What are we doing here?"

Luhan's smile froze and he had to blink several times before laughing and playfully smacking Sehun's head. "What do you mean? Eating, silly! Isn't it obvious?".

But his attempt to pretend like everything's normal miserably failed as Sehun frowned and dropped his fork on his plate.

"Give me your phone", he said and it sounded more like a demand than a request.

"W-Why?". Luhan was nervously tapping his fingers on the table.

"I need to contact Tao".

Sehun's response made Luhan push his plate away and cross his arms. "Sehun, I'm not letting you contact your ex. You broke up, get over it, move on".

Suddenly, a weird, nearly crazy idea crossed Sehun's mind. "Lu, you aren't hiding my phone, are you?"

Silence. Luhan is now obviously worried sick over something. "N-No", he stutters, "I told you, it's back at my apartment".

"Then let's go, we're leaving now".

Sehun had to speak to Tao. He had to solve this.

Chanyeol was running at the speed of light and he knew exactly where to go first; his own workplace might not be Sehun's favorite restaurant but Xiumin was there and he could definitely help with the search by notifying anyone he knew. Plus, he had to let the grumpy little man know that he was going to be late for his shift and weirdly enough, Xiumin had never given him his number. Face to face was Chanyeol's only option.

"Yo, Xiumin!", his loud husky voice made the ginger man flinch but instead of ignoring him like he usually did, he actually turned around to greet him.

"Hey giant, I was just about to call you", he said with a pleasantly surprised expression which was weird because Xiumin was never 'pleasant' about anything.

"You wanted to call me? What-... Why?", Chanyeol asked, eyes widened.

Xiumin's face changed as if a shadow of concern had casted upon it. "It could be nothing, just me, thinking too much but... What's up with Sehun and that irritating little man?"

"Wait, you saw Sehun?", Chanyeol gasped and grabbed Xiumin by the shoulders. "Where, was he here? And who is the little man?". Xiumin didn't appreciate the bunch of questions and he certainly wasn't fond of the violent way Chanyeol shook him.

"I'm not a ing milkshake", he growled and pushed Chanyeol away. "But I was right...", he whispered to himself. "That guy with the pink hair seemed so suspicious. He said his name was Luhan and I'm not sure what's going on but when he introduced himself as Sehun's boyfriend-..."

"He WHAT-...?". Chanyeol's jaw dropped at the sound of the word 'boyfriend'. What the was Sehun doing? "Okay", he mumbled, trying to collect his thoughts, "Okay, I'll call the others and... Do you know where they went?"

"No, but they left only a few minutes ago, they couldn't have gotten far-...".

"Then I can catch up to them!", Chanyeol shouted and Xiumin could feel the tall man's adrenaline rushing through his veins so he rushed to land him back on reality with a smack on the head.

"Don't be an idiot", he said and ruffled his ginger spikes, messing them up even more. "You don't know where they're heading, what if you follow the wrong street? You'll just waste time, you brainless elf".

Chanyeol should have gotten angry with Xiumin's insults but something in the short man's expression reminded him of his boyfriend. Ah, yes. That grumpy but at the same time mocking grin was Baek's specialty, not to mention the sass.

But the little fire in Xiumin's slanted eyes that burned with curiosity reminded Chanyeol of another person who loved to solve mysteries, a friend of his with round eyes and plump lips.

"You're right!", he shouted once again, "I'll call Kyungsoo, he'll know what to do!".

And without wasting a second, he ran outside the restaurant while dialing the number on his phone, leaving Xiumin alone to get back to his work. Okay, the ginger thought, I did all I could, now it's time to focus on work.

But he couldn't. He had to know more about this whole situation, he had to solve the mystery.

"He didn't even tell me who that Kyungsoo guy is", Xiumin mumbled as he was picking up the leftover plates from the empty tables. "That rude ing giant".

Kris was too distracted watching the slender, tall silhouette running to pay attention to the ball so when the spherical object hit his stomach, he couldn't help but let out a painful groan.

"Dude!", Amber yelled from the other side of the court, "Eyes on the ball!".

"Y-Yeah...", the blond man mumbled but when he glanced back at the street, the man had disappeared.

"What's wrong?". Amber knew all too well that basketball was one of Kris's favorite things so the fact that he wasn't concentrated was weird if not worrisome.

"Nothing, everything's fine". Kris averted his eyes from the street and smiled at his girlfriend who was now dripping with sweat. He couldn't possibly tell her that he had just seen Tao frantically running because his previous lies would be revealed. He had to be cool about it.

That was easy, right? Kris was an expert at being cool (or at least that's what he thought) but for some reason, he wasn't able to get the image of the running Tao out of his mind for the rest of the game.

He had to speak to him as soon as possible.

Jongin was one step away from completely losing his sanity. He had been in charge of Kyungsoo's phone for less than forty minutes but the constantly calling instead of texting Baekhyun, Tao's useless texts full of emojis that were depicting how tired he was and Chanyeol's shouts from the other line were more than he could handle.

He couldn't possibly comprehend how his boyfriend dealt with that bunch on a daily basis; on one hand he admired him and his patience but on the other he was starting to hate him for giving him this task.

"Is this his revenge for all the times I kicked him out?", Jongin mumbled and glanced at the bakery's window shop. A blissfully ignorant Kyungsoo was handing a paper bag full of muffins to an obviously enchanted high school girl. Maybe the others were always right, he thought, maybe he is pure evil.

"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME", a husky voice shouted from the other line.

"I AM NOW SO SHUT THE UP". Jongin regretted shouting at Chanyeol the moment he finished his sentence. He knew that adorable giant actually got hurt by all harsh treatment he received.

"Good, good, I need to talk to Kyungsoo!", Chanyeol was obviously trying to lower his tone but he just couldn't do it.

"What, I'm not good enough for you?", Jongin laughed even though he knew that compared to Kyungsoo, he was doing a horrible job as the leader.

"I found Sehun!".

"YOU WHAT?". Jongin's eyes widened and he did the first thing that came to mind; he started to frantically wave his hands towards Kyungsoo's direction and shouting his name.

"What, what happened?". A clearly irritated Kyungsoo peaked his head out of the bakery's entrance but his anger disappeared when he noticed how dumbfounded his boyfriend looked.

Before Jongin had the chance to form the word 'Sehun' with his mouth, Kyungsoo had already snatched the phone from his hands and was calmly listening to Chanyeol's inaudible ramble.

"Yes... Okay...", Kyungsoo was nodding and Jongin had never seen his face so serious before but it was impossible to tell whether the news were good or bad.

After a few more nodding and agreeing Kyungsoo hang up and started dialing Baekhyun's number, ignoring Jongin's curious and confused stare.

"Baekhyun? Get your over here, Sehun didn't get drunk at a bar after all. No-.. I-...Will you shut up for a second, please?". The short boy took a deep breath and Jongin couldn't help but grin. Kyungsoo was the only person he knew who would use the words 'shut up' and 'please' in the same sentence.

"Okay", he continued, ignoring the nagging from the other line, "I'll explain everything once you get here so hurry up. Yes, as fast as you can. Bye".

"So?", a restless Jongin asked with puppy dog eyes. "What's going on?".

"Turns out I was right about that Luhan. He is more involved in this than we had initially estimated but now everything makes much more sense". Kyungsoo was proud for connecting the pieces once again but he couldn't smile.

"So Sehun is with Luhan after all? Isn't that great? Tao is heading towards that guy's apartment as we speak, we'll find them in no time!". Jongin was obviously excited with the news; their search was almost over. As much as Kyungsoo wanted to share his enthusiasm, he couldn't.

Yes, he had solved the mystery but the bad feeling that had been sitting on his chest all day still hadn't vanished. He wasn't able to explain it but he just knew that finding Sehun wasn't going to be the end of their problems.He knew it was only the beginning.

"Luhan, hurry up". The short boy was fidgeting with his keys outside his apartment's door and Sehun was starting to get impatient. He felt like he needed to contact Tao immediately, he couldn't wait any longer. He didn't know if they were together or not, he knew he had slept with another man and that Tao would probably never forgive him but he had to talk to him.

"I-I can't seem to find the key", Luhan stuttered and nervously ruffled his cotton candy curls.

Sehun didn't say anything; he just grabbed the boy's keys and shoved one in the lock. And success! The key fit perfectly, the exact key Luhan had been fidgeting with the last ten minutes.

"What's going on Luhan?", he asked and his stare was colder than ice.

The boy in front of him looked like he was about to cry.

"I just... I just wanted us to have a nice meal together. I didn't mean to lie to you but-...". His excuses were slowly fading as his top priority was to control the tears that were rolling down his cheeks.

"Lie?", Sehun raised his brow, ignoring Luhan's pleading tone.

Without saying anything, Luhan took Sehun's phone out of his jacket's pocket but he didn't hand it to him. "I couldn't give it to you, you'd just call Tao and ruin our day!", Luhan suddenly shouted when Sehun grabbed his hand but he didn't let him get his phone back.

"So you lied to me?!", Sehun shouted back. He couldn't believe Luhan's betrayal. He was miserable and vulnerable and instead of helping him, Luhan took advantage of that. And for what? A nice meal?

"No!", Luhan rushed to explain. "Okay, maybe I did but it was for your own good! Why can't you just see how much better I am?! I would never hurt you like Tao did, I love-...".

He was no longer making any sort of sense. He was just yelling with tears in his eyes, desperately trying to cling onto the tall boy in front of him.

"What else have you lied to me about, Lu?"

His question was spot on. The surprised Luhan finally relaxed his grip and Sehun successfully retrieved his phone.

"I-I...". The boy's round eyes widened even more when he noticed the person standing behind them. Sehun couldn't understand why Luhan was staring at the distance behind him so he was ready to turn around and find out.

But Luhan couldn't let that happen.

Before Sehun had the chance to notice anything, he had already wrapped his arms around the other's neck and he had pulled him into a forced, messy kiss. The moment their lips smacked together Luhan knew one thing; he had to keep him. He had to keep him at all costs.

But the moment didn't last for long; Sehun's initial shock was gone almost instantly.

"What the , Lu?!", he shouted and pushed the boy away with all his strength. "What the-...?"

Luhan didn't respond; he just kept staring at him with those round, pleading eyes that were once again filled with tears.

Sehun now realized that someone was standing behind him. He could hear the person's heavy breath and angry stomps on the floor, both signs that he was approaching them.

When he finally turned around he felt a different kind of shock, more powerful, more instense.

Tao was paving towards them, sweaty, unable to catch his breath and Sehun had never seen such fury in his eyes before.

Those past two weeks have been just horrible, ugh, I couldn't write anything and that's why it took me so long to update. I'm so sorry, please don't forget this story~

Yepyep, Lulu totally ed up, Xiumin is being a nosy little and Kris is just potatoing around with Amber and a basketball (so everything's pretty much the same). Also Jongin is finally starting to realize the evil mastermind that is Do Kyungsoo MWAHAHA (no, not really, he's a cute little baby).

I'm curious though, can anyone guess what's going to happen next? People have told me I always end the chapters on crucial points, hehe~
