The Twin Dragons
Description
Now college freshman Soryong has lived quietly and uneventfully in his little home of Hae-an, though moving to Seoul has been quite a change. Other than the transfer from a small town to the capital of South Korea, Soryong is going to find out that many other things can fly in or out of his life before he can blink. The question is, is he safe from what's going to happen, or will he find safety in two new people in his life?
Foreword
Way up among the clouds glided a spectacle the world was unfortunately unable to behold, for the great creature was going as swiftly and secretly as she could. The snake like wonder with light blue scales was fearsome to behold, yet was the most caring mother the world had ever seen. With a crown of red on her head that also streaked across her back, the dragon flew as fast as she could, looking back occasionally for the shadows that were trailing her. But she was too swift and experienced in flying that she was yet to be caught in her escape from Alaska and now just past Japan, almost to her destination. Now that the dragon mother was about to make the end of her journey, she clutched the two eggs in her arms tighter and bent down to talk to them.
"My dear children, I pray you will prosper in your time on the earth. May your bonds be so strong that not even death can pry you apart, though I fear I cannot say the same between us. Daeryong and Soryong, my children, take care of each other. I will be in your dreams Soryong, so tell your brother oft what I looked like, and how much I do love you."
With that, the great creature flung her two eggs into two directions as tears escaped her eyes. One of her greatest last wishes then was to see what her sons looked like. But her hopes were of the least concern to the shadows that now seized her in all of her struggle and tears. The dragon submitted to these forces of malice as she looked one more time in the directions she threw her children, more tears flowing down her fearsome face.
No one watched this happen, so no one could say what became of the mother dragon, though the sons were destined to have many tangles with fate.
