Another day of work. She sighed, trying to pay attention, even though her eyes were sleepy and she could really use a nice short nap.
"What would you describe your relationship as?" The interviewer started, and Jihyo forced herself to listen.
"Both business and "some"." Gary answered, and her heart flipped. "Maybe this "some" will continue even after I get married." He joked, and she laughed.
"Ah stop it oppa! Pass, pass!" She waved her hands frantically.
The next question came unexpectedly. "What did you save each other's contact as in your phones?"
Uh oh. Jihyo was usually calm and collected during interviews, but this one really made her lose it. Well, she was doing it with him. "I saved hers as Mong Ji." He answered immediately, even taking out his iPhone as proof. The interviewer confirmed this, showing it to the camera and Jihyo couldn't help but look away, embarrassed. What do I say? Do I lie? Eotteoke? Kang Gary why did you have to be so straightforward. She let out a slight smile, laughing at the ridiculousness of the moment, trying to buy some time before she answered the question. He made an adorable face, quickly covering up for her. "Don't tell me you saved it as Gae (dog)" She laughed, grateful for his little joke, before choosing her answer carefully. "I just saved it as Kang Gary..." She laughed again as he showed her a pitiful expression. "Oh so I'm just Kang Gary to you..." He joked. Please don't ask me to take out my phone. Because if you do, not only will you find out that I'm lying, you will also realize that his contact is saved as "Gaelly". The interviewer moved on quickly to other questions though, and she heaved a sigh of relief. "Which guest on running man made you jealous the most?" All of them! She wanted to shout. "When Jo Jung Suk appeared and played the noodle eating couple game with Jihyo, I felt a bit jealous. Normally when I play pepero games with her, she would order me around like I was her dongsaeng, but when she played with Jo Jung Suk, her eyes looked different." Gary sulked, and she couldn't help but smile. She remembered that day clearly, it was a fairly recent episode. Gary was "married" to Shin Min Ah, and the running man set had a strange tension in the air throughout filming.
"Are you jealous?" He had whispered to her after filming the opening segment, when they were alone as everyone rushed to do last minute changes with their coordi unnies or checks with the PD.
"No." She whispered back. "Your one word answers are making it obvious though." He countered, both of them walking to their respective cars as the staff rushed around to get everyone organized. She opened to retaliate, but the rest of the gang came and they set off for the next location, their conversation ending just like that. She was jealous, but too stubborn to admit it. Couldn't they have chosen Jong Kook oppa or Kwangsoo instead? She was happy that Gary had become the main role today, but mixed with happiness was this strange feeling. As the rest of the cast were wondering why Gary and Min Ah were late, she couldn't help but blurt out, "From past experiences, Gary is a terrible driver." "She's totally jealous." They , but she waved it away. Filming continued, to the point where she had to eat a strand of noodle together with Jo Jung Suk, and make it into a smallest possible piece. She stood at the side, waiting for the game to start, and her eyes caught Gary's. She laughed at his sour expression, before letting her sunbaenim lead her in the game. Their lips were almost touching, but it was just a game, nothing to be screaming over, yet she blushed anyway. Their strand of noodle was tiny, and she couldn't help but look over at Gary, who had this own noodle strand with Min Ah. His facial expression was incomprehensible, but she knew how he felt. After filming at that location ended, she managed to find Gary through the staff's chaos. "Who's jealous now?" She smirked, and he laughed, holding her hand possessively. "You're mine!" He joked back, but she knew that he wished that it was true. Jihyo would have stayed in her mong state if it wasn't for Gary's soft nudge reminding her that she had an interview to complete. "There is a guest that made me feel jealous." She announced, but regretted it instantly. She leaned to him in panic, whispering,"I really don't know, oppa! Help me please ~" Gary's face fell, but he quickly suggested, "How about Soo Jin?" The interviewer joked, "Why are you guys whispering during an interview!" Jihyo answered with Soo Jin, even commenting further, "That day oppa said that there was no monday couple." Gary looked at her, and she couldn't help but look away, blushing. "After filming ended, I had to apologize to her for 30 minutes!" He joked, and she laughed, remembering that moment."That's a wrap!" The PD finally said and the slate was hit. Another episode of running man completed. The cast members and guests made their way to their respective dressing rooms to remove their sponsored clothes, getting ready to go. Usually, they would go eat after filming, and today was no exception. Jihyo turned down the offer to hang out with the rest, claiming that she had a CF filming to go to the next morning. "Noona, are you sure you aren't going to a club?" Kwangsoo teased and she immediately reached over to grip his hair. "Lee Kwangsoo, don't make me flip you!" She exclaimed in mock anger, and turned back to her dressing room. The other members left her alone then, but Gary lingered. "Are you angry?
