Kyungsoo is the second son of the Do family. For some families, the eldest is the most precious child, for some families, the youngest one is the most precious one. 

As for Kyungsoo, his family loves the eldest so much. Kyungshik, his elder brother get well treated, well educated, well equiped and all the things Kyungshik wants. Kyungsoo however, always try hard to impress his parents and his brother. For some unknown reasons, all his actions seems wrong in the family's eyes.

Since he was in elementary school, Kyungsoo put his best in everything, just to get praised, to be loved. He always finishes his homeworks and help his mum, Mrs.Do to do the house chores. He cooks them evening snacks, make coffee for them, do the laundry, keep the clothes and all. But..

" YAH DO KYUNGSOOO! AREN'T YOU GOING TO HELP YOUR BROTHER TO SWEEP THE FLOOR?" 

"But just now I did laundry already, I need to study for the final test, it's in-" Kyungsoo replied.

"WHAT?! HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK TO ME?! YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL THAT YOUR HYUNG HELPED YOU A LOT! AND YET YOU ARE STILL COMPLAINING?! YOU THIS USELESS BRAT! GO NOWW!" Yes, all he gets are scoldings and screaming everyday. 

And there, he grew up getting all the scoldings instead of being loved. He is only 14, and he didn't deserve to listen to all the craps. He is going through his puberty, all he needs are love, care and good environment to grow up. But for a 14-year-old boy, Kyungsoo is pretty much matured, he is very mentally matured more than Kyungshik. 

Kyungsoo is such a sweetheart. He tends to think about others a lot. He put others first before him. He thinks twice before doing anything. He tends to care too much for others, and all the loves he poured out to others, are silently killing him inside. 

" No, I'm alright, as long as my parents and hyung are satisfied, I'm always alright." said Kyungsoo, while tearing up on 3am. He cried painfully, silently, so that the family won't hear anything. 

That is how Kyungsoo lives. Scoldings, screaming, crying are like music to his ears, like daily dramas in his eyes, like a perfume scent in his nose. But now, he don't even have time to do homework, to study for his futures. All he does are all house chores, all day long. Morning he goes to school, afternoon he started to do the laundry and clean the house throughly after lunch, until dinner he had to set the table, wash the dishes, rush his homeworks, prepare his school uniforms and finally he can sleeps. And repeat the same thing the next day. Things got worse since his brother went to further studies. 

Kyungsoo mother works everyday, his father works in the countryside, For his age, Kyungsoo knew a lot of things. Kyungsoo knew his mother finishes her works early, but his mother always go to town and spend money with her friends. So his mother always get home quite late, and off to sleep right away. Kyungsoo has always been alone, and being alone has now not a nightmare to him anymore. Being alone, has become his favourite time. And yes, he knew his mother has affair, without his father knowing. There he goes, crying hard in the night, to put himself to sleep.
