Wiping his teary and swollen eyes, he looked at the mirror in front of him. The reflection from the mirror showed a handsome man cladded in a nice looking suit; however his face expressed the heavy feeling he kept inside him. His hands grabbed the end of the sink, shaking. He inhaled a deep breath, trying to regain his composure, but it was not long before he broke down, crying.
“I can’t do this… I can’t go there…”
........
Smiling, the man handed the beautiful flower to the beautiful lady in front of him. The lady in white dress squealed with excitement; happiness shone from her expression. Seeing her response, the man could not help from smiling again. Someone called the lady and she excused herself, but not before making the man promised to wait here for her to come back.
“I’ll be waiting here even though you don’t come back.”
........
The hall was beautifully decorated; white tulips and lilies adorning every table since they were the bride’s favourite flowers. Delicious food was place neatly on the tables, waiting for the guests. The newlyweds who just recently exchanged their vow of marriage had changed their outfits. The MC of the wedding ceremony had completed his given task. Videos of the happy couple were shown. Professional singers finished singing their songs. The parents of the groom and the bride shed their tears. It was a happy occasion.
It was a happy occasion.
It was a happy occasion.
It was a happy occasion.
However, there were two men inside the hall who did not share the same feeling as the couple and their guests; with every smile the newlyweds displayed, every piece of two hearts shattered.
