Episode 9

 

Yuri was busy making coffee for both Tiffany and herself since they were the only ones at home for the moment. She knew she looked like an utter fool with the way she was grinning to herself but she couldn’t help it, knowing that today was the start of completing a few of their bucket list wishes. It would be much better if Yoona was here though. 

“Yullll!” Tiffany whined and wrapped her arms around Yuri's waist, resting her chin on Yuri’s shoulder, “Are you done?” Yuri turned around and flicked Tiffany’s forehead, earning a pout from the older one, “be patient.”

“Aigoo… it’s so nice to see our members being so chummy.” Hyoyeon wiped her imaginary tears off her face, “I wish I was there too…”

The group couldn’t help but giggle at Hyoyeon’s words, knowing how much of a joker the latter was. “Tiffany seems like the kind who’d be clingy around everyone…” Hyoyeon nodded eagerly, “you have no freaking idea. If she isn’t clingy towards Yuri, she’s clingy towards Sooyoung or Taeyeon. If not them, then it’s the rest of us.”

“I wonder how Yoona will react when she sees this.”

Hyoyeon shook her head this time, “then it’ll be World War II coming.”

Yoona was in her apartment with Jessica and Taeyeon by her side, the trio watching the camera footage on Yoona’s laptop. The two older members couldn’t help but gulp nervously, seeing how Yoona’s grip on the cushion was tightening with every passing second that Tiffany had her arms around Yuri. Maybe letting Yoona spy on Yuri was a horrible idea.

“Fany-unnie…” Yoona mumbled, “you’re so dead.”

Taeyeon bit her lower lip and scratched the back of her neck, “Yoong, you know she is. She’s always hugging us as and when she feels like it. It’s just her method of showing how much she loves us.” Yoona sighed and let go of the cushion before she ripped it apart, “I know, unnie.” 

Jessica decided to change the topic before Tiffany would become Yoona's imaginary arch-rival, “so what are you and Yuri supposed to be doing today, Yoong?” Yoona thought for a while before she tilted her head to the side with a small pout, “I’m not sure. The mission card hasn’t been given yet.”

Just before the other two could say anything, the mission card was pushed forward.

 

Mission Card #4

The two of you will be flying to New Zealand to complete a few of your bucket list wishes and you will also get married there. When Yuri has proposed to you, your group members will be notified and they will fly over to watch over your wedding. Your flight is at 04.45 tomorrow morning so please be at ICN Airport by 02.45. Your ticket is attached to the back of this. 

 

“WHAT? I WANNA GO TOO!!!!”

Yoona looked at Taeyeon and Jessica who were whining and leaning against each other with huge pouts on their beautiful faces. “You’ll be coming when we gat married… and we can all stay there together.” Hearing Yoona’s words, Taeyeon and Jessica quickly stopped their acting and sat up straight, ready to help Yoona pack her luggage. 

 

 Husband  omg did you see our mission card?? TO NEW ZEALAND WE GO!! yes i did calm down, Yul   no i will not we are going together TO GET MARRIED AND TO COMPLETE BUCKET LISTS you are a kid hey i am older than you pft

 

Oh God, could Yuri get any cuter? 

 

 

Back at the dorm, the other members were all gathered to make sure Yuri packed enough for both her and Yoona just in case Yoona forgot to bring anything else - not that it was a possibility since Taeyeon was there but it was better to be safe than sorry. 

“Yul, have you packed your toothbrush?”

“Have you packed enough jackets?”

“Bring your charger! I don’t care if you don’t use your phone, Yoona does!”

“Get your up and pack some more !” 

Everyone turned to Sunny and clamped all their hands over , groaning at that was spilling all nonsense with no filter at all. Yuri was burning in embarrassment, she knew she hadn't finished packing her undergarments but Sunny was completely out of it.

Tiffany patted Yuri's back before whispering, “you better pack it in before she starts again. I’ll check it for you later, don’t worry…” Yuri pouted and stood up, giving Sunny's bum a harsh smack. 

Packing wasn't an issue for Yuri other than the fact that she had a tendency to forget this and that, which already happened a couple of times.

During their Japan tour in 2011, Yuri had clean forgotten to bring her pajamas and had to sleep in her uncomfortable outing clothes unless the others could bring theirs to hers. When they were on Running Man, Yuri had forgotten to bring her personal make-up set. Thank goodness for Seohyun, who used a similar colour and shade. 

“Sunkyu-ah…” Yuri curled her finger and beckoned the older one to come over. Sunny smiled nervously and walked closer to Yuri, “what is it?” Yuri hugged the shortest in her arms as tightly as she could, burying her face into Sunny's hair, “please take care of everyone.”​

Yuri and Yoona were standing at the check-in counter, waiting to check-in their luggage before having breakfast with the girls first - breakfast at 2 sounded ridiculous but they needed to spend some time with each other before YoonYul left, it didn't help that there wasn't a specific time frame as to how long they'd be gone.  

“Yoong?” Yuri called out softly, her droopy eyes trying to keep themselves open, “are you excited to go?” Yoona re
