Memories
The Last Dance*1*
He ran and ran as if he could escape reality, as if he could hide from it...
He was sure at first, but why? When he's already that close towards his dream... why is it now that pressure and expectations seemed to crush his soul, his courage, everything he worked hard for?
He turned into that secluded alley, a place in his school where no one dared to go. In every school, there's always this kind of place, a place in which people think was haunted. And surely this school wasn't an exception.
But he doesn't believe in ghost stories. And whether it is true or not, he doesn't care. He got his own problems to deal with anyway.
He was walking and running, his pace was as fast as a racer, not caring whether he's bumping or stumbling into something.
Not until he heard that voice.
That kind of voice, enchanting, lovely... the kind of voice that makes you want to hear more, listen more...
He suddenly remembered that famous ghost story in their school. He shook his head as hard as he could.
Impossible, he thought. He slowed down his pace, looking for the location of that enchanted voice. He then spotted that one classroom at the very end of the hall.
Slowly, he walked towards that room, trying his very best not to make a single noise.
And then he saw her.
This young girl, who got this insanely beautiful voice, singing her heart out in that abandoned room. He couldn't help but be amazed at how much skill she has.
Suddenly, it came into him. All of his dreams, all of that sleepless nights, all that practice sessions... especially all of that love he has for dancing... All of it was going to waste just because he couldn't handle pressure...
He fished out his phone inside his pocket. 23 SNS, 19 calls. He opened one of them.
