Hey! I'm new to this whole Asianfanfic writing so i'll try my best to please all the readers out there. First of, this story is about them (EXO) being wolves, because they can be! ^-^ The main person is Kim JongIn (Kai) and i honestly don't know how this is going to go but i'll try my best to keep it going! Please R&R. Here we go...

  The pain surged in his heart, causing his whole body to ache. His tears still traveled down his cheeks, hitting the carpet floor as he sat on his couch, his back hunched over with his hands resting on his knees. If only the pain would go away, if only his memory could be erased. If only.

            His phone lite up, the familiar ring tone playing off in the distance, but he didn't move. He didn't answer it. Why should he? He felt like his life was over and, in a way, it was. The happiness he once felt was now shattered into a million pieces, and it all happened in one day. It ended with a bang, leaving behind emotional scars and so many regrets.

            For the next couple of minutes, the ring tone rung out in the dark apartment. It was annoying and the one thought on the lone figure's mind was to throw it out the window. In fact, that sounded like a good idea right about now, he didn't care about that phone anymore. It carried way to many memories and maybe it was time to get a new phone. One that wasn't tainted.

            Standing up, he made his way to his phone that rested on the kitchen counter. He reached out for it and stared at the screen, he stared at the caller ID and wasn't surprised to see Kyungsoo's name lite up in bright white letters. An exhausted sigh escaped his chapped lips, then he pressed the answer button, pressing the phone to his ear,

“Yeobosayo?” he answered in a sad and low voice. The other line was quiet before there was a muffled sigh of relief,

“Kai.” he said “How are you doing buddy?” Kyungsoo sounded genuinely concerned but there was no need to be, Kai hadn't left his apartment in two days.

            Kai remained quiet, he didn't feel like answering because it was pretty much obvious how he felt. He was miserable and wanted to be dead to the world. The short silence was interrupted by a brief knock at the door. Kai snapped his head towards the door and set his phone down on the counter, leaving Kyungsoo to talk to himself for a while.

            The darkness was blinding but Kai had a special ablilty, he knew his way around his apartment pretty well as to where he didn't have to see to get around. With shaky hands, he grabbed onto the handle and creaked it open just enough so that he could see who was outside his door. His face remained emotionless when he saw Kyungsoo standing there, Luhan behind him looking concerned as ever.

“We didn't think you were home so we called you and waited till you answered.” Kyungsoo explained softly, expecting Kai to shut the door on his face, he was surprised when Kai opened the door wider and shrugged. The scent of Chinese food floated past Kai's nostrils, he suddenly felt dizzy, and he hadn't eaten much and honestly just wanted to stick to water.

“Kai?” Luhan frowned and scanned Kai from head to toe, he looked like he hadn't slept or eaten. It only worried him more.

            The silence between them frustrated Kyungsoo, he knew Kai needed help, he knew Kai was hurting, he knew Kai was dying on the inside. The tears left Kai's eyes and fell to the ground in front of his bare feet. With a heavy voice, Kai spoke,

“What do you want?”

“Kai, we just want to comfort you. Bring you back to the world.” Kyungsoo said reaching for his shoulder, to his relief Kai didn't refuse the action. Luhan bit his lower lip and felt tears form in his eyes,

“Kai can we come in?” Luhan asked sounding desperate. Kai looked down to the ground as if in deep thought, then he nodded and stepped away, allowing them to come into his dark apartment.

            As if Kyungsoo expected this, he reached for the lights and flicked them on. Mildly surprised to find Kai's apartment clean, he looked around to look for any drugs or alcohol. He mentally kicked himself when he saw no sign of it. Why would Kai do that?! He's not stupid..at least I hope he isn't. Luhan, on the other hand didn't wait for Kai to speak, he embraced Kai in a tight hug, tears spilling from his eyes. Kai showed no emotion although the tears said otherwise, he didn't push Luhan off nor did he do anything to welcome the embrace.

“We all missed you.” Luhan let out a small sob, “Suho, Xiumin, Chen, Tao, and everyone else...they were all worried to death.” he paused and parted the hug looking him straight in the eye, only to be met with emptiness. “We thought you ran away or something.” Luhan finished with a sniffle. Kai took a step back and closed his door, he stuffed his hands in his pajama pant pockets and walked to the couch, taking a seat, he stared blankly at the television.

“Kai talk to us.” Kyungsoo said walking up to Kai who only looked up with sad eyes, as another tear slide down his cheek then Kai spoke,

“Why did she leave me?” he asked in the most heart breaking voice Kyungsoo and Luhan had ever heard. They watched as Kai broke down in front of them, they watched as Kai buried his face in his hands wanting nothing more than to hug him, they just stood there frowning.

            After a few minutes of watching Kai sob, Luhan put the food down on the coffee table and sat next to Kai, bringing him into his arms Kai continued to sob into Luhan's shoulder. Kyungsoo took his seat next to Kai as well and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, he had an idea of what Kai felt like. But he couldn't exactly imagine how much Kai was hurting.

“Kai, you can't just sit here and let your heart break. Okay, so she wasn't the one, you'll find another.” Kyungsoo tried to comfort Kai but Kai wouldn't listen. He remained stubborn as he mumbled to himself about being so stupid and letting his ex into his heart. For not telling her in the beginning.

“Kai?” Luhan tired but got no answer, “Kai? Please answer me.” Luhan said with a gentle shake. Kai looked up at Luhan with tear filled eyes, he used his knuckle to rub his eyes free from the tears then sat up straight and took in a shaky breath,

“S-Sorry. I'm still not u-used to it.” Kai admitted miserably. Luhan and Kyungsoo exchanged meaningful looks then turned their attention to Kai. The dark haired male reached for the food and opened it, the smoke hitting his face, making him close it immediately. Luhan smiled sadly,

“Not hungry?”

            Kai shook his head and pushed the food away, “Sorry, if I eat now, I'll only throw it back up.” Kai said with regret, he felt guilty making Luhan buy him food only to have him reject it. Luhan nodded in understanding. A comfortable silence followed, none of them spoke or moved.

            About five minutes later, Kai broke the silence and stood up, he turned to Kyungsoo and Luhan who were getting ready to stand up,

“Make yourselves at home. I'm going to shower.” Kai informed then took his leave towards the bedroom, he gathered a towel and some new clothes then head to the bathroom. Memories of him and his ex invading his mind. He stepped into the bathroom and closed the door behind him, the sudden urge to vomit hit him and he put both hands to his mouth, dropping the items that were in his hands. He shook his head to get rid of the dizziness and shut his eyes. Without warning the darkness claimed him and he fell.
