Decorating Christmas trees was always fun, except for putting up the lights. It was most likely the only thing Howon hated about Christmas, and if not for Myungsoo’s request he wouldn’t have struggled with that this year. But since it was their first Christmas together as a couple, he had no choice, but to give in to what his boyfriend wanted.

“How did you even manage to get into this?” Howon asked grumpily, while he tried to get his boyfriend out of the mess that was him and the Christmas lights’. Myungsoo just shrugged, and he honestly didn’t seem that affected by being tangled into the cable. In fact it actually amused him to see Howon that worked up for such a simple thing, and while the other looked away for a moment, Myungsoo made sure to mess it up even more, and he bit his lip to not laugh out loudly when he saw Howon’s face when he turned back and saw the mess becoming even bigger. “Myungsoo, why would you even...” He asked, looking up at the ceiling.
“I don’t know what are you talking about” Myungsoo blinked at his boyfriend innocently. Howon rolled his eyes.
“Why am I even dating you...” He mumbled, starting to untangle the younger boy from the cable.
“Because you weren’t able to say no to my charms and fell in love with me, that’s why” Myungsoo grinned at him, and pulled Howon closer, using the cable that was in his hand, and kissed him deeply. “And because I would never let you go, as I’m deeply in love with you, too.”

Okay, maybe Howon didn’t hate putting up Christmas lights that much.
