- 1913 -

Mother screamed as her shield became weak after pouring her black magic onto me. Fire began to creep onto her skin and burn her flesh slowly. I watched in horror on the ground beneath her, it was horrible

“Help me!” She screamed in pain and I flinched when she fell to the ground helplessly. I rolled on my back and closed my eyes as tears began to flow down my cheeks.

I felt weak, it felt that my energy was drained but I could feel that something is crawling in me; black magic. I laid on the ground, staring at the burning ceiling helplessly.

Is this the part where I die? I asked myself and sobbed quietly. I coughed hard as I inhaled smoke from the fire. My heart was beating very fast, I was horrified by the fact that I might die soon

I turned my head to my right and saw mother slowly and painfully dying.. or is she already dead? She stopped screaming and the fire is still eating her body..

Maybe it's my fate, maybe its also my time to go.. after all the sins I've commited by taking those innocent girls to mother.. I deserve to die.

Once again, I looked to where mother's dead body was and saw the fire heading towards my way. Watching as the fire eat the wooden floor in an alarming rate, I gave up. There's no use for me to escape now especially in my weak state.. especially when I'm cursed. It's better if I'm dead

but suddenly, adrenaline began to rush through my body as the urge to survive came in.

“What is this.. what's happening?” I asked myself as I sat up weakly. I find myself scanning the burning place and panicked.. I.. I can't control myself!

I quickly stood up and stumbled across the floor, avoiding the fire and managed to reach the door. Without even thinking, I grabbed the handle and immediately retreated when the metal burned my hand. I screamed painfully and tears came out of my eyes

“No.. No! What are you doing?!” I shouted at myself as my body reacted on it's own. I was scared for life.. is something controlling me?

As I panic, I found myself wobbling towards a cabinet and was searching for something. I cried as my hands started to search something on its own and grabbed a hammer

Immediately, I ran towards the door, smashing the handle creating a hole where the handle used to be. I easily opened the door with my hands and went out of the door.

Running.. I was running towards somewhere I don't know. I don't know where my body is taking me

“Help me!” I cried out desperately as my legs took me to an unknown place.

I finally stopped running and collapsed to the ground. I sobbed on the ground and stayed there for awhile. A lot of thought were running through my mind..

What was that? Why can't I control myself back there?

I let out another quiet sob and finally took the courage to sit up.. I finally could control myself. I looked at my right hands and tried moving my fingers one by one. I looked to my left hand and realised that I was still holding something.. The hammer that I used before.

I blinked and suddenly thought of..

Without even thinking much further, I quickly brought the hammer to my head and was ready to hit it hard but was stopped by my own hand

Again, it is like as if someone is controlling me and I couldn't bring the hammer back near my head.

“Why won't it work!” I shouted and tried again, desperately wanting to die. There's no use for me to live anymore, I'm dangerous and I need to die!

But I didn't give up, I took a deep breath and tried to gain control of my hand. Is this a part of the curse? Not allowing me to die? To let me suffer?

With a shout, I brought the hammer back up and tried to hit it to my head but I was stopped again

This time.. I was stopped by another hand.

“Are you crazy?!” A man shouted to me as he snatched the hammer from my hand and threw it on the ground

I froze and my mind went blank. I couldn't bring myself to face him.. I just can't

I stayed quiet and hid my face with my hair by looking on the ground. The man sighed and came closer to me

“Hey? Were you trying to kill yourself? Is that what it is?” He asked and put his hands on my shoulder and that did it. I broke into a sprint and tried running away from him.

I could hear him shouting, begging me to stop running but I didn't. I tried speeding up my pace but his footsteps were getting closer and closer..

“Leave me alone!” I shouted as I tried running away but he finally catched up and pulled me by my hands, locking me in his arms

“No, I can't leave you! Who knows what you'll do next if I did.. Oww!” He hissed as I bit his arms.

“What is wrong with you?” He exclaimed angrily and pushed me to the ground. I stumbled to the ground. I kept my head down and felt angry as
