Sehun immediately called the rest of the boys who was talking seriously among themselves –probably planning for the escape- and when Sehun caught their attention, they didn’t waste any minute and ran to him as quick as they can

“Look, I know that this will take time but I need you guys to do something” Sehun said and looked at each of them

They all nodded and Sehun take that as his cue to continue telling his plan

“but let me warn you that it will hurt. Are you okay with that?“

“We don’t care whether it will hurt us or not Sehun as long as she’s safe” Luhan interrupted and the rest nodded; agreeing on what he said.

As long as she is safe..

Luhan’s word stayed in his mind for awhile and he suddenly felt relief. They’re willing to get hurt and that shows how much they cared about Seulbi.

He could see it in their eyes on how worried they were.. it made him feel guilty.

Sehun suddenly shook his head when he realised himself getting distracted.

There’s no time for that..

He then took a deep breath and pointed to the house

“Since the house is old, we all should expect that there’s a rotten wood somewhere so it should be easy to break but the thing is.. we don’t know where it is yet”

Sehun said and looked at the small house. It was no doubt that the house was old, they could even see green moulds on the walls but no rotten wood was spotted on the outside

“and we can’t ask Seulbi to look for it since its too dark inside.. which means that we need to find it ourselves”

The rest of them raised their eyebrows and looked at each other, questioning on how they’re supposed to find it

Knowing that they don’t understand, Sehun said and suddenly ran towards house. His body made contact with the wooden house and it shook a little but it didn’t break

After his demonstration, Exouls immediately understand what he was trying to do and followed his action..

One by one, they ran towards the house with their body and fist colliding on the wooden walls.

Thankfully the house was a small house that consist only one room and it was a square type of house, which means there’s only 4 sides; the front, the right side, the back and left side.

They kept on punching, pushing and hitting one side of the wall; the front part but it won’t budge.

“Looks like there’s no rotten woods here.. let’s try at the back” Yixing said and ran off to the back of the house

As they were trying, suddenly noises were heard from a far.

They all stopped what they were doing as they saw the villagers heading towards them. Sehun looked at his watch and saw that it was already pass 7 in the morning and cursed under his breath

“We need to do it.. fast!”

They continued hitting the wall and hissed in pain. Sehun peeked and saw the villagers coming but something bothered him...

They were quiet.

He looked at the rest who kept on hitting, punching and pushing the wall; hoping to find the right spot but it was making loud noises

“Guys.. we have to stop.” Sehun said and they raised their eyebrows at him. He then pointed at the villagers, “We can’t make any noises.. it’ll raise suspicion”

Luhan peeked carefully and saw the villagers standing infront of the house in silent.

The rest took turns and peek at the villagers.

“How are we going to break it now..” Kyungsoo whispered with wide eyes.

All of them stayed quiet and waited for the villagers to make some noises but to their dismay, they didn’t.

“God damn it why are they keeping quiet?!” Chen whispered angrily and peeked at the villagers again.

The villagers was whispering to each other instead of talking normally. It was as if they’re trying to keep a ferocious dragon from waking up from its deep sleep.

And that is when they realised something..

“They’re afraid of her.. they’re afraid she’ll do something dangerous if they make noises.” Yixing said quietly and the rest scoffed.

Suddenly, the whispering began to get louder and that grabbed the attention of the boys. They all peeked carefully behind the house and saw the crowd parting for someone

“Mr.Gyo..” Sehun muttered under his breath and the rest glared at the head of the village

“Good morning people. Let me take this opportunity to thank all of you for coming..” Mr.Gyo started and the villagers went pin-drop silent.

“I’m sure you gentlemen and ladies know what’s inside that house right?” He then asked them and they nodded, some brave ones replying with a loud yes; earning stares from the rest of the villagers

Mr.Gyo chuckled and lifted both of his hands up. “Now now.. let’s not be scared. She is tied and is locked inside that house”

But even after Mr.Gyo reassure them that it’s safe, they still kept quiet. The villagers looked at each other with doubt and fear

“Okay...” Mr.Gyo chuckled nervously and then clapped his hands awkwardly

“Let the burning ceremony begin!”

“We have to do something! They’re starting to light the fire!” Luhan pointed out and stared at the villagers

From what they see, they’re starting to make a big fire pit and splash oil onto the house. They also pour the oil onto the ground so it’ll make trails from the fire pit to the house

Not wasting another second, Baekhyun suddenly stared to walk towards the villagers and before he could even show himself, Yixing pulled him back.

 “What are you planning to do Baekhyun?” Yixing asked him and Baekhyun replied, “Just trust me.”

And with that, he ran off to the villagers.
