-Two and a half months later-

I crossed my arms tightly as I glared at the male in front of me. He was sleeping happily on his bed with his head under the pillow and duvet thrown at the floor

I gritted my teeth and went to pull his duvet off the floor. “He promised he’ll wake the others up.. YAH!”

I shouted at him and throw his duvet on his body harshly but he didn’t budge even the slightest.

“God damn it Baekhyun wake up!” I shouted and shook his shoulders violently.

After 5 minutes of attempting waking him up, he suddenly jolted upwards and rubbed his eyes

“What time is it?” He yawned and began to stretch his hands. I rolled my eyes and pulled his arms so that he would get up

“I already finished making breakfast and was expecting you guys to come out of your rooms but no, you haven’t wake them up yet! Even you yourself is still sleeping and now we’re all late” I grumbled and pushed him to Yixing’s front door. “Wake him up first then the others. I’ll be waiting 10 minutes.. 10. Minutes.”

He nodded and twisted the door knob but before he entered, I gave him a warning “If I find you sleeping back with him I swear I’ll not cook you dinner tonight” then, I walked away; towards the living room

I glanced at the window of our house –we just moved the day before- and saw the sun peeking at the horizon; the sun is rising.

“We’re late..” I mumbled as I ran towards the kitchen to distribute breakfast in 7 plates equally. Yes, 7 because Suho usually eats breakfast with us. It’s safe to say that he’s one of us now

Not long after that, I heard a knock. I looked at the door and smiled, “Oh he’s here..” I jogged to the front door in the living room to open the door but instead of Suho, it’s the girls from our neighbourhood.

“Good morning!” They greeted in unison and I blinked. Noticing that they’re waiting for my reply, I quickly gave them a smile and greeted them back

“I made pancakes for your family-”

“Rice cakes with honey fillings from yesterday and there’s many leftovers so I thought I’ll just give you some-“

“Some buns with delicious fillings that will definitely give you energy-“

I chuckled and bit my lips when the three girls began to talk in unison. I couldn’t catch what they were saying but I kept nodding and when they were finished I reached out my hands to take the foods

“Uhm, thank you for these foods. I’ll take it as housewarming gifts since we just moved in hehehe”  I said and they chuckled.

I was waiting for them to leave but they didn’t. They kept on standing looking at me and I began to feel awkward

“Do you.. uh.. want to join breakfast or something?” I asked them awkwardly and they quickly shook their heads

“Oh no no! Its just that-” One of the girls said but then she stopped when my ‘’brothers’’ came out from their rooms and walked towards the kitchen.

Baekhyun, Kyungsoo and Yixing stopped when they noticed the girls and smiled, bowing at them before entering the kitchen.

I turned my head back to the girls and saw them blushing

Oh, so that’s why.. I giggled and shook my head.

“So.. breakfast?” I offered them again and they woke up from their trance.

“Seems fun but no thank you. We’ll see you around neighbour, don’t hesitate if you need help okay?”  One of the girls told me and I nodded.

I waved them goodbye and when they entered their house, I quickly went to the kitchen and place the foods on the table.

I left the door open so that Suho could just walk in

The boys were eating silently and when I sat down, Luhan turned his head at me and asked, “Who were they?”

I picked up the rice cake and plopped one into my mouth. “Our neighbours.”

“Hana, Diya and Sara” Baekhyun said and I raised my eyebrows at him

“How do you know their names?”

“They always stop by to give us drinks when we were building this house” He simply said and I turned to Chen

“Really?”

“Yeah, but the thing is Hana will always talk to Baekhyun. I think Diya likes Kyungsoo since she made it that obvious and I think I caught Sara staring at Yixing for 5 minutes”

 The 3 boys suddenly smiled and I chuckled, “They seem nice. You guys should ask them out”

“What makes you think so?” Baekhyun asked with his mouth full.

“Don’t speak with your mouth full, it’s disgusting” I scrunched my nose. “You’ve been single for years, come on. You can’t stay single forever!” They chuckled and went back to eating.

Not long after that, footsteps were heard and we all knew that Suho has arrived. “What’s for breakfast?” He immediately asked and I rolled my eyes, “Good morning to you too”

“Morning” He smiled sheepishly and sat beside Yixing. He then stared at the 3 different type foods and raised his eyebrow

“What’s the special occasion? Is it someone’s birthday or something?” He asked and pointed at the foods

“Nah, it’s gifts from the girls in the neighbourhood” Kyungsoo said and stood up. “I’m done! I’ll get going now”

I nodded and remind him, “Don’t forget your bottle of water Kyungsoo!” He nodded and took his bottle at the counter

“Work is harder as a human..” Chen suddenly muttered and took his last bite of his food. When he finished, he dumped the plates at the sink and went to the backyard to take his nets. Baekhyun also stood up and went after him to help

Yixing and Luhan agreed to him and the latter said, “It’s easier when we’re animals but there’s no denying that being a human is ten times better even though it’s harder.”

They too had finished their food and went to the store room to take their hunting weapons.

Suddenly, a knock was heard accompanied by a female voice.

“Luhan! Yixing! Hurry up already!”

Suho chuckled and shook his head. “My twin”

“Patience sweetheart, we’re coming!” Luhan shouted teasingly and I swear I heard her grumbling. “Stop calling me that..”

Luhan and Yixing walked pass us and quickly made their way to the living room. I quickly took a peek at the front door from the kitchen and saw Luhan ruffling her hair.

She slapped his hands away and greeted me when she noticed me

“Good morning!” She beamed and I nodded. “Morning!”

I sat back down and found Suho’s eyes. “He likes her” “She likes him” Suho and I stated in unison and then we laughed.

And now, only Suho and I were left since we joined breakfast late

“So how’s your relationship with Sehun?” Suho asked and I smiled. “Fun. He’s caring and sweet but really protective.” I chuckled when I remembered one funny incident

“Oh you mean that time when he almost punched the guy who flirted with you in the woods when you were hunting?’’

“Poor guy. He freaked out when he saw Sehun glarin
