Minhyuk sped walk over to Jongdae. He pushed Jongdae's shoulder, "You bastard! The dog you gave us is a killer! He killed Popo!" Jongdae formed a thin line with his lips as he try to hold in the urge to start a fight. 

"Watch what you're doing, this is the hospital." Jongdae warned. Minhyuk let out a breath of warm air and scoffed offensively.

"Did you not hear me? I said the freaking dog you gave us after forever questions killed Popo! Chaewon's friend!" 

"Minhyuk!" Chaewon called standing alone behind him. 

Minhyuk was standing rather far from them but he was still in sight. Jongdae and Chaewon were sitting on the bench just outside the hospital. "I'm sorry for your loss." Jongdae started. Chaewon shook her head. 

"No, you're not at fault so don't apologize. Popo just left early...." 

Jongdae sighed, "I can take Bacon back and give you another. She's pregnant but she's very gentle. She have had more experience with the blind and being around other children and animals."

"Thank you...." 

Jongdae handed the angry Minhyuk the leash, "Be careful with her, she's carrying her babies." Minhyuk scoffed. Then he turned around and placed an arm around Chaewon, leading her out of the shop. Jongdae sighed. 

He didn't even get the chance to tell her that he was her fiance.

And he wasn't even aware of the fact that it wasn't going to be three months later before he bump into her again.

During that time period Chaewon set Popo to rest and began building a bond with the new white Jindo.

A month after she gave birth to her only pup which was named Chen. 

Of course Jongdae also had to come up with the half truth-half lie that he lost her, no idea where she went after meeting her that one time he claimed in front of his mother. But she didn't let it go and strongly insist he look for her again. 

He never did. 

Jongdae was lying on the bench in a park when he heard something moving below him. He opened his eyes and peeked below him, there a white puppy was playing with a plastic bag.

Jongdae jumped up in surprised and quickly reach for the bag. "No, no, no you can't chew this!" He grabbed the bag and tried to pull but the puppy's pulled as well. 

In the end he succeeded and pulled the bag without hurting the pup, "You shouldn't eat this kid." He said to the puppy and toss it in the trash bin just a few feet away from where his feet was earlier. The puppy began running toward his feet and tried to bite his jeans. 

"Chen!" 

A woman's voice traveled from one direction and quickly Jongdae looked up to see Chaewon heading their way. As Chaewon came closer, Jongdae spoke after assuming the puppy was named Chen. "He's here." 

Chaewon stopped in her steps when she suddenly heard his voice. "I'm sorry, where?"

"Here, first take ten steps forward." Jongdae said, he watched as she moved ten steps closer to him. Jongdae picked up the small white puppy and walked over to Chaewon. "He's here." Jongdae said, Chaewon reached her hand out when Jongdae moved the moving fellow under her touch. 

"Thank you." Chaewon said after taking the puppy into her arms. She pet him gently as she shot her head upward.

Jongdae wait for a moment before he spoke, "How have you been by the way?" 

"Pardon?" 

"You don't remember me?" 

Chaewon hesistated for a moment, "Sorry....I can't see...." 

"I know." 

Chaewon searched her memory. She knew his voice sounded familiar. "You're him...?" 

"Him as in the vet your boyfriend isn't very fond of then yeah I'm him." 

"I-I'm sorry." Chaewon suddenly apologize with a slight bow, "He's just very protective of me. He means no harm and he's very much fond of you as he would to anyone else." 

Jongdae smiled, "It's alright. Not everyone likes everyone." 

The puppy in Chaewon's hands barked once, earning a wider smile from Jongdae. He reached one hand over and ruffled the puppy's head. 

"His name is Chen right? He's cute." 

Chaewon couldn't help but smile, "He's Vanilla's puppy."

"Vanilla?" 

"Hm, the guide dog you gave me." 

"Ah....No wonder he kind of resemble her." Jongdae said. 

Their stay went on longer that afternoon. 

And they even started to meet each other more often at that same place, with Chen.

Jongdae later learned where Chaewon live when he offered to bring her home. He was surprised how nice her place looked.
