I stood there leaning up against my locker arm slung across my girlfriend’s shoulders as I stared the pair across from us down. Minah and Dohee walked arm in arm into the cafeteria laughing as if one of them just told the best joke in the world and I couldn’t help but smile myself at how funny they looked when they laughed. After watching them for a bit though my attention turned to Suzy who wrapped her around my torso territorially and I couldn’t help but sigh.

“Stop looking at her,” she whined as I laughed.

“You’re still jealous of Minah?” I raised an eyebrow and she shook her head defensively.

“Ani, I just hate the way you look at her like a piece of meat being dangled in front of a starving dog,” she said matter of factly making me chuckle.

“I’m planning my next mission of annoying her of course I’m going to look at her that way,” I laughed and glanced down at my pouting girlfriend “She’s my best friend Suzy. We grew up together. Hell I know too much about her to even think of her as a woman,”

She looked as if she were contemplating the thought for a second before nodding.

“Good,” she smiled and kissed my cheek “Let’s go get some food,”

I grinned and linked our hands together as we walked into the cafeteria. We made our way to our usual table where I found my friends Jackson and Bambam waiting for us. I couldn’t help but notice Minah was sitting with our friend Hyungsik at their table by the windows.

“I’m going to talk to Jia and Fei,” Suzy smiled as she skipped over to her friends table.

I nodded and sat down beside my friends.

“So Minah and Hyungsik look kind of cozy don’t you think?” Jackson snickered as I punched his side.

Hyungsik did appear to be a little too close for my liking but I knew from Minah herself that there wasn’t a snow ball’s chance in hell that she’d date him.

“Nah, he’s too dorky for her,” Bambam shook his head with a look of disapproval and I mentally agreed.

“Speak of the devil,” Jackson smirked as I looked up to see Minah walking towards our table her blazer tied around her waist with her dress shirt sleeves rolled up making her look tom-boyish.

“Soooo bestie,” she drawled sarcastically and plopped down beside me making me grin but it didn’t last long “I’m not going home directly after school so you don’t have to walk me today,”

“And where are you going?” I asked and she shrugged making annoyed.

“Hanging with Dohee and Hyungsik at his house a bit. After that I don’t know,” she answered and I earned a nudge from Jackson “I just thought I should let you know and I’ll call Dad to let him know you’re not walking me home so he doesn’t have a fit,”

And this is why I love her on occasion. She completely understand me and my dad’s relationship.

“Then you can walk me home, babe” a feminine voice snapped and we turned around to see Suzy glaring at Minah.

“You’re screwed,” Jackson whispered in my ear as I looked at my girlfriend with a smile.

“Of course,” I chuckled but she continued glaring at Minah who looked back at her smugly. I could only imagine that a small war was about to break out.

“I believe you are in my seat,” she growled and I almost scolded her for being mean but Minah beat me to the chase.

“Oh really, I didn’t see your name on it but I was about to leave anyways I have better things to do than talk to this twerp,” she chuckled and I nearly flicked her for calling me a twerp “Catch you guys later,” she waved to Bambam and Jackson before striding back over to Dohee who was shooting us daggers with her eyes.

“I hate her its official,” Suzy grumbled as she sat down and Bambam looked elsewhere to avoid the awkwardness between her and I.

“You know what if you weren’t so unreasonably jealous of her she wouldn’t talk to you that way,” Jackson sighed earning an annoyed look from the girl.

“He’s right,” I admitted and she looked at me with a look of betrayal.

“Well if she didn’t hang all over my boyfriend I wouldn’t act like that,” she snapped and I felt myself getting angry.
