They were talking and catching up what is the latest in their life and their friends,when suddenly a young boy showed up,running."Mommy,I don't want to take a bath yet." he said.
Hebe looked at the boy and there he was the baby that changed her friend's life forever.He is nothing like Rainie ,he is all Jiro.It is like looking at the miniature of Jiro.She came near him and hugged him.The boy looked at his Mom with a question in his eyes.
"Jared ,this is your Aunt Hebe,the one who have been sending you gifts and toys,remember?" Rainie said.
"She is your friend and my Aunt too?" as he looked at both of them.
"Hebe ,Jared,my baby." Rainie said.
"Mom I am not a baby anymore.I am a big boy now see?" he said.
"Yes,I forgot.Come on give your Aunt Hebe a kiss and a hug.Remember,she sent you a lot of gifts." Rainie said.
"Yeah,thank you Aunt Hebe.Mom,I don't want to take a bath yet." as he continued his plea.
"Okay just promise,you'll do it later." Rainie said.
"Can I play now?" Jared asked.
Rainie nodded and with that he was gone.
"How about a lunch,I am just gonna dress up and it is going to be my treat." Rainie said as Hebe agreed and she got up to dress up.
Thay went to eat out at a nearby restaurant.They talk and talk about anything but not touching the important part about Jiro.Rainie is afraid to ask about Jiro and Hebe on her part,she does not think it is a good idea knowing the way how Jiro feels toward Rainie now.
After lunch Arron called Hebe for they have engagement that afternoon.Hebe and Arron are now engaged and as always Arron's social life is as busy as ever,and Hebe have to be there for him.
"Hone,where are you now?You did not forgot about our appointment this afternoon,did you?" Arron asked.
"Yes I did not forget.I am just having lunch with a friend right now.it is not until this evening right?" Hebe asked.
"No it is this afternoon,what if I picked you up wherever where you are right now?" Arron asked.
"Alright,since I did not bring my car with me.And i want you to meet my friend." Hebe said.
"Is she somebody that I knew?" Arron asked.
"No just come over and I will surprise you." Hebe said.
"Alright I'll be there in half an hour.Love you." Arron said.
"I love you too." Hebe said as she hung up.Rainie laughed when she heard their endearments.It has been a while since somebody told her those words.And the last one who told her that was Jiro and it seems so far away.She will never hear him say that again,as she took a deep breath.
Arron is going to picked Hebe up and omitted Rainie's name cause she wants to surprise Arron.Come to think of it,she never mentioned or told Arron about Rainie coming back home.She knows she will have some sort of reactions from Arron,knowing how close he is to Jiro.He believed that Rainie wronged Jiro by leaving him just like that,and Hebe being a friend to Rainie and knowing the real truth have defended Rainie and sometimes they end up fighting and Hebe upset and Arron mad ,each one have their stand.But surprisingly,despite their differences,their relationship survive.It must be love then,Hebe thought.
Little that Hebe knows that Jiro is with Arron.They met up for lunch.Jiro called Arron just to vent out his confused feelings.He was clearly upset about his encounter with Rainie last night.
Rainie went to the restroom,just when Arron arrived.Arron was giving a kiss to Hebe when Rainie emerged from the rest room and flipping her cell phone.
"Hone,I want..." Hebe's voice trailed when she saw Jiro walking towards them
And Rainie not seeing Jiro is coming"I have to go Jared,Jared is looking for me." as she stopped and looked up.There is Jiro looking at her with a surprised look at her face.Arron and Hebe looked at each other,questioning each other with their looks.
"I have to go." that's all Rainie have to say.She tried avoiding his eyes,for it looks like a dagger,like the one she have on her dreams.
Jiro looked at her with sarcasm in his face that made Rainie cringed in her place and unable to move."Running away again Rainie?" Jiro said."That's what you're good at."
Jiro wants to say more,say something that will hurt her,like the way she have hurt him,but he saw the sharp eyes on Hebe's eyes and he backs out.
"I am going to wait in the car."Jiro said and left.
"I am sorry" Hebe said." I did not know that he will be with you." as she looked at Arron.
Hebe hugged her friend who was clearly upset and almost crying.Arron took pity on Rainie ,but then he cannot blame his friend ,he got hurt and it was never easy for him after Rainie.
"I am sorry too." Arron "I did not know you were with Hebe."
"It is alright." as Rainie forced a smile"So how are you Arron?it is nice to see you again."
"Same here.You looked good yourself." Arron said."We 'll see each other around."
Rainie nodded and left.Arron and Hebe can only looked at her back as they looked at each other and Arron put her hand in Hebe's shoulder.
Rainie's cell phone rang on her way out."yes jared I am on my way home now." Rainie said"You missed me,I missed you too honey.I'll be home soon,so take your bath okay.I love you baby."
Jiro heard all the words she said.he sighed and took a deep breath.he feels like he is running out of air,hearing all those words.She got somebody now,she have moved on and somehow he got stuck somewhere.He got stuck loving rainie all his life and it hurts him so much...
