Kim Jongin and Do Kyungsoo both live two different lives, but even if this is the case they both have one thing that is the same, and that is they both dislike their lives, and want to be saved from it.

Kim Jongin or as known as Kai, is poor and lives in a very run down neighbourhood. Clubs, drugs, gangs, , theft and murder, are all thing's he has to live with everyday.

Do Kyungsoo is very wealthy, and lives in a big mansion in a quaint neighbourhood. Formalities, Money, Studying, Posh, Antiques, Highly ranked people, are things he has to live with everyday.

Completely different.

But what if these two happen to cross paths, creating the start of a completely new life. Will they find away to break away from their past lives, or will they realise that maybe it's not so bad after all. So when Jongin finally attends high school and meets a very certain second year, his and Kyungsoo's lives change. Facing new friends and enemies, and realising how different everyone lives their lives, will they be able to get along and help each other out with that one thing they have in common.

Main Character's:

Kim Jongin (Kai)

Jongin lives alone with his mother, but she is an alcoholic and doesn't work. Jongin gets by to support him and his mum by having a part time job as a bar attendee and stealing. He is the leader of one of the many neighbourhood gangs, and is often getting into fights, and trouble with the police. Whenever he's not with the gang he will be down in the clubs, getting drunk and hitting on girls. 

One night he got annoyed with his mother and decided to go down to the club with his girlfriend, but he got drunk and ended up having with her, thus leading to her getting pregnant. His mother found out about this and kicked Jongin out of their home so he moved in with his girlfriends family, but she soon died, after giving birth to his child.

Being a single parent at age 17, Jongin became over whelmed with stress, having to look after the baby and his part time work, he ended up leaving the baby with an orphanage. He realised then he wants a new life and decides to work to save money to be able to attend high school.

He finally is able to attend high school, changing for the better, and with him starting late into the year will he be able to change his life. One the bright side his childhood friend Sehun also attends the same school, he finally starts to see his life changing and even more so when he meets Do Kyungsoo for the first time.

Do Kyungsoo (D.O)

Kyungsoo is the youngest out of three brothers, and they all live together with his parents in a very fancy house. His parents own and work for a 5 star restaurant, a mile away from his home. Being the youngest he tends to get left out with stuff. His oldest brother is dad's favourite, hoping him to take over as the owner of the restaurant. His second eldest brother is his mum's favorite as he has a lot in common with his mum. Kyungsoo on the other hand is different from his family, and spends most of his time studying just to fit in.

At his school Kyungsoo is the top student, all though it comes with a big price with getting bullied, he tries his best to be the top student so he can finally be acknowledged by his parents. He is also the student council president. He's a really nice guy when he opens up to you, but he doesn't really have any friends, so he is socially awkward, with of course the exception of his only friend Baekhyun.

Though he spends most of his time studying, the only time he isn't studying is when he is wanting to kill his best friend Baekhyun, who get's on his nerves quite alot pulling these pranks. He hasn't told anyone but he actually had depression, he went to see a doctor and got diagnosed, the main cause being the constant bullying for the two and a half years he's attended school. Studying helps with his depression.

But with the appearance of a new first year student, and being the student council president he has to help the new student and show him around. Of course being depressed and socially awkward makes this task a little difficult for Kyungsoo, but after spending time with Jongin he realises he's not the only one with a hard life. He never would of guess that this boy called Kim Jongin would change his life for the better.

Secondary Character's:

Oh Sehun 

Sehun is Kai's childhood friend. They've practically grew up together in the same neighbourhood, being each others support, but soon Sehun's mum got re married and he had to move, leaving Jongin alone.

He always worried about Jongin knowing the place where he used to live and would constantly try to find ways to go visit him. His step-father wouldn't allow Sehun to visit Jongin anymore as he was worried for his safety.

Starting school he made some new friends but Jongin never came to school. Now in high school he gave up hope that he would turn up, but later in the year he childhood friend transfers in, and in his class. Finally being able to see Jongin again was great, but he could tell Jongin lived it pretty rough. He's an average student with a dull personality, which appeared after being excluded from seeing Jongin.

Byun Baekhyun

Baekhyun has been Kyungsoo's friend since middle school, and how he loves driving his friend crazy. He the most annoying person you could ever possibly meet and often gets told off by Kyungsoo. He's very popular at the school, especially with the girls because of his good lucks but he's not interested as he's gay. 

Being openly gay does cause him to get bullied alongside Kyungsoo but with his ridiculous personality and his crazy habit of pulling crazy pranks, he always gets them back, twice as bad, which sends him up to the principles office.

He's actually jealous of Kyungsoo because he lives in such a posh place, whilst he lives in a two bedroom apartment, with a crazy old lady next door who is constantly causing problems. But he loves Kyungsoo, wether or not its one sided he keeps it to himself, until someone decided to make an appearance.
