Midday sun beat down from the clear sky as the pair relaxed on the river bank.

“Are you brain damaged?”

“I fell down the stairs leading to the roof last summer.” He told honestly as he picked up his bottle of water.

Snorting a laugh, the girl threw herself back onto the grass. Crossing her right leg over her left which was bent at the knee, SanHa folded her arms beneath her head. “That must be it then.” She closed her eyes and listened to the barely audible traffic from across the body of water.

“Why do you behave the way you do?”

“Am I getting a lecture from a kid?” She peaked out of her left eye with a scowl.

Panicked, he looked down at his company. “I didn’t mean it in a bad way.”

Flapping her hand lazily, the girl spared a small smile. “Is there any other way to call my personality?”

Facing straight ahead, JungKook watched the gentle currents drifting by. “I think that maybe it’s a good thing.” SanHa stole a quick glance from the corner of her eye upon hearing the solemn change in tone. She could see him mulling over the words, or maybe the thought altogether, in his head. “I mean, you take chances and you’re honest, unlike the rest of them.” Ever so slightly, a crease formed between his brows. “Is it really a bad thing?”

Turning onto her side and propping her head up with her hand, the girl struck an exaggerated y pose while keeping her straight face. “Shall we run away together?”

Snapping his head around to see the outrageous posture paired with a cheesily suggestive quirked brow, JungKook pinched the corners of his lips in disappointment. “Are you mocking me?” He pulled a tuft of grass from beside him and chucked it at his company in a half-assed attempt to get her back.

Taking a can of beer from the carrier bag behind them, SanHa shook it twice and popped the seal beside his face. Foam gushed all over the lad’s uniform and up into his hair. Drinking what was left on the top with a smirk caused by the boy’s inhuman gargling, the older girl patted his shoulder facetiously. “Perhaps.”
