Heartcore (Korean: ; Japanese: ) is a five member South Korean Co-Ed Band with three boys and two girls. The members are Han (Leader, Main Vocals), Chia (Vocals, Main Guitar), Jae (Vocals, Rap, Bass), Skye (Main Rap, Lead Guitar), and Lucy (Sub-Vocals, Drums). Heartcore was chosen as the group name because the members have lot of 'hardcore' love for one another and their fans. The group made their debut with the song I'm a Loner which was in top 10 of many music charts. They are considered the first co-ed idol band. Their fanclub is called HEART2HEART meaning they are close with their fans.

History

Debut

Heartcore was formed by Solar Entertainment in 2012. The group trained together for 2 years. In August, Solar Entertainment unveiled new teaser pictures for Heartcore's debut. Heartburn was released on September 14, 2014, and stayed at the top of the Gaon Chart for two weeks. "I'm a Loner" (Korean: ) was promoted as the title track. The song peaked at No. 2, solidifying their break into the industry. The group had their first televised live stage on M! Countdown on September 13. 

Current

The group starred in the 8th season of Hello Baby! And plans for a sub-units HeartAttack and HeartBeat have been anounced. A tweet from After School Club revealed that Heartcore will be coming on the show. Also members Skye and Lucy are appearing on ASC's After Show. Plans for another comeback is on Dec 10, 2014.
