Nightlife in Paris. The city lights to join the celebration. Even the moon and stars seemed to glisten with the city lights. Couples, families, and single ones gathered around the night. Donghae followed a few steps behind Yoona who seemed astonished of every little thing. Every skip or two of hers, he followed with amble steps keeping his eye on this girl. There were a sweet aroma filling the air, and friendly smiles.   “This is great.”, Yoona yelled out.   “Listen, don’t stray too far. I won’t be able to translate for you.”, He smiled behind her, making sure she hears his voice.   “Let’s listen to some music?”   “Alright. Hold my arm,” He replied holding out his arm,”Let’s listen some indie music.”   They entered a place called Au tis filled with people nodding to the music that touched hearts and ears of many. Donghae dragged Yoona into a empty booth. With a verse of the song, Yoona was already bobbing to the song with her eyes closed. Donghae watched her in amusement.   “You like?”, He asked in english.   “GOOD!”, Yoona bobbed her head as she gave a thumbs-up.   Laughing at her response, he liked this girl’s attitude. It was like his mother’s when it came to having fun. Ah, he missed his mother. Why does this girl….Why did he find this girl so fun?   “What is band singing about?”, Yoona asked, breaking Donghae’s memories.   “Oh, they are singing about first love.”   “First love, huh?”, She nodded to the beat. Her hair swayed back and forth to the song and he could smell the floral scent coming off of her hair.    “Why are you the one for me? Can you stop making my heart beat so fast? I’m lost in conversation, could you somehow tell me how to make this love past? I’m not good with dating. Tell me, is there a way to remove your image from my mind? Your scent? Your touch? Could you please let me love?”, Donghae translated in song for her.   Yoona stopped her motions, and stared at Donghae,”You know…you are a pretty good singer.”   Donghae nodded, “I can try. I’m not a big singer, but I can try to sing."   After the band finished playing, Yoona got up immediately. She turned to her roommate, and pointed to the red exit. The night was longer than before when He used to stroll down these streets looking for a reason to stay just for the night.   “Let’s have some fun!”, She yelled out, shocking the people around her.   “Why did I show her this?”, Donghae groaned, embarrassed that he was bringing a girl to a bar, rather than picking up a girl from the bar.   “I’ll won’t drink that much.”, She smiled as they entered the music popping bar.   Donghae sat at the bar, keeping his eye on Yoona on the dance floor. She was chatting with a couple people around her as she danced to the beat of the music. It was freedom for her. Nightlife, a place where you can let yourself loose.   “Excuse me. Is this seat taken?”, a voice called him.   He turned to see an attractive older lady, with a sultry smile. She wore a bright red dress, and her brunette hair was messily done on purpose. Shaking his head, he let the lady sit beside him. She ordered two drinks, and gave him one. Donghae laughed at her commitment to him. Was he that attractive?   “Thanks.”,He drank the alcoholic drink in one shot.   “No problem. You are a handsome one, did you know?”, She smiled, touching his shoulder.   “I did not know. I’m not that conceited.”, He chuckled at the lady, as his attention was being swayed back and forth.    “Why are you facing the dancing floor? Are you wanting to dance or are you eying some girl?”, the lady said with a jealous tone in her voice.   “No, no. I’m just admiring the dance floor.”,    He was used to this. Girls hitting on him. He’s been to hundreds of clubs, and bars. The nightlife was his home, basically. He was tired of it honestly.    “Let’s get out of here then?”, The lady asked him, grabbing his arm.   Having enough of it, he brushed aside her arm,”No.”   “What do you mean?”, she replied surprised at his behavior. It was probably something she wasn’t used to, which was not Donghae’s problem.    “No.”   Yoona chatted with her fellow friends she made, dancing to the music. It was great, she could get used to this. Nightlife, city life, whatever you call it. She looked over to where Donghae stood, and it looked like he was having a confrontation with someone. Surprised and worried, she stopped dancing and excused herself from her clubbing friends.    “What’s going on?”, Yoona asked speed walking to Donghae, and grabbing hold of his arm.   “It’s nothing. It’s just a lady who wants my attention.”, Donghae feigned a smile to Yoona, who saw through the facade he put up.   “Listen, I don’t know who you are, but this our conversation.”, The lady yelled at her in english.   “What?”, Yoona replied back in broken english and a strong accent.   “You heard me, I’m with him. So you better get your hands off, and out of here.”, The lady scoffed, looking at Yoona as a toy.   “No.”, She said tightening her grip around Donghae’s arm,”He’s my boyfriend.”   Amused at what she said, Donghae looked at her. Yoona braced herself for whatever the lady would say, even gritting her teeth readying for any english she knew. The lady looked back and forth the couple, and cackled.   “Wow, you would choose her, when you can have me? You playboy.”, She slaps Donghae, who bit his lip.   “HEY!”, Yoona yelled out as the lady walked past her,”SAY SORRY!”   “Sorry that your boyfriend is a playboy.”, She walked away.   Yoona sighed knowing she didn’t get her full revenge, so she turned her attention to Donghae. His left cheek was beginning to turn red, but he showed no sign of pain. Yoona reached up to cheek, touching it so it wouldn’t hurt.    “Are you alright? She slapped you pretty hard.”, She pouted, seeing him hurt. She put her hand on the spot that the lady hit him at. Donghae smiled a bit, watching her seem so affectionate towards him.   “It’s like you’re my girlfriend.”, he commented seeing her, feel concerned for him.   Embarrassed, she scratched her head and replied,”Aren’t I good at acting?”   A bit disappointed in her answer,”Yeah…”   “You know what? I’m a bit too tired for any partying. Why don’t we grab some beer and chill at home?”, She smiled.   “Yeah that would be great.”, Donghae replied, leading Yoona towards the exit.   The two chatted up a storm as they entered to the nearest convenience store. Donghae went for the alcohol, while Yoona looked around for some sweets. There was some candy she recognized, but some that were uniquely different. But as the first night in Paris, she went for the normal Kit Kats and skittles routine. Taking them in her hands, she went to find Donghae.    “Hmmm, he must be in the alcohol section.”, She thought to herself.   “Excuse me, miss.”, a stranger called behind her, but she didn’t hear it.   She went to find Donghae, who was contemplating what kind to buy.
