Clairvoyance
Leo POV~
After N spoke to Byoungjun and ate dinner he had slept the rest of the night, peacefully cuddled up to Leo. It was like all of his stress was gone. Leo himself slept some and then spent some time watching N sleep. It was quickly becoming his favorite pass time.
When the alarm goes off in the morning to get up and open Hyde, Leo feels well enough to actually help out. His shoulder didn't even hurt that bad anymore. He slips out of bed and kisses N.
"Goodmorning Hakyeon." He smiles as N wakes up and stretches sleepily. "How are you feeling?"
"A lot better Taekwoon." He sits up and runs his fingers through his hair. "Let's go to work." Leo helps N out of bed and they get dressed. He was more than happy to see his tan partner up and smiling with no sign of sadness or pain.
They were the first people downstairs and N instantly started helping Leo make breakfast. N was a cute chef, wearing Hongbin's pretty pink apron, mixing pancake batter in a bowl, a smear of flour on his cheek. Leo couldn't help himself, he slid one arm around N's waist and kissed him as he wiped away the powder with a dish towel.
"You're messy." He kisses him again and goes back to cooking.
"You like it." N winks and giggles. If he wasn't careful he'd end up full on confessing to precious, beautiful N. But what if N didn't want that?
N POV~
Their friends told them all about the training sessions during breakfast. N was a little sad he had missed the spinning, flamey cyclone of death but he got over it quickly when he thought about Leo's gentle kisses. He had a pretty good night at home with nothing but Leo and an injury. Though Leo himself was all he needed to have a good night. He could live without the injury.
When the cafe opens he says a quick hello to Byoungjun and his gang before going into the kitchen to bake, sending Hongbin out to take orders after a few pastries had inappropriate frosting doodles. He knew Hongbin enjoyed Hyuk's company but it was getting out of control. Maybe he was going to have to make Hyuk give in to Hongbin at least every other day for the sake of the cafe and it's customers.
"Sanghyuk. The next job we get goes to you and Hongbin." N calls out of the kitchen. "Work off some of that pent up frustration."
"That isn't the type of working it off I want to do..." He hears Hongbin grumble, causing N to fight back laughter. Hongbin was adorable.
"I've been dying for another solo mission." Hyuk looked excited.
"I think Hongbin needs iron underwear." Ken laughs as he scrubs dishes. N can hear the beautiful sound of Leo playing the piano in the cafe. He had missed this.
"A modern day chastity belt." N agrees with a devious smirk.
"That will work too." Ken laughs so hard he smashes a plate. Oh well. He had been meaning to replace those anyway.
"Hakyeon. Soomi and Maia are here to check on you." Leo peeks into the kitchen and then takes over cooking for N. N sneaks a quick kiss and both he and Leo start blushing when Ken whistles at them.
"I'll be back in soon Taekwoon." N gives Ken a playful smack on the arm before leaving the kitchen, going to Soomi's table. "Hey ladies. Soohyun, minions." He nods at the boys and sits between the girls.
"Good to see you aren't dead or chained to Taekwoon's bed." Soomi laughs and N blushes.
"So what brings both of you here?" N tries to change the subject. Feeling slightly uncomfortable at the fact he can feel Byoungjun watching him from across the room.
"I was worried you'd gotten yourself murdered." Maia smiles and N puts his hands on her cheeks, smooshing her face a little.
"Maia you're so sweet. Worrying about me like that." He lets he go and laughs. "I'm fine. Taekwoon took very good care of me."
"Ew. Nobody wants to hear about your life Hakyeon." Soomi makes a disgusted face.
"At least he has one." Hongbin yells from across the room where he's aggressively scrubbing a table.
"I do too, you jerk." Soomi pouts and Soohyun pats her cheek while he talks to Kiseop about their last monster hunt.
"I don't mean with your brother, you weirdo." Hongbin rolls his eyes. N watched in amusement as a dark look passed over Soomi's face.
"That is exactly the look she got before lighting me on fire..." Jaeseop looks nervous but Soomi's expression suddenly becomes serene.
"At least someone is touching me, Not-Getting-Any Barbie." Soomi grins as Hongbin glares at him and Maia and N burst into laughter.
Hyuk POV~
He reads the newspaper as he waits to have an order of coffee to fill. Something catches his eye. An article about people drowning in a lake. One a night for the same week every year since a girl had been drowned in the lake by her boyfriend ten years prior. A week that was already half over.
"Hey baby! We have a job!" Hyuk calls as he a holds up the newspaper. Hongbin stops his argument with Soomi to come over to him.
"What is it?" Hongbin asks curiously, taking the paper to read it.
"Sounds like a mool-gwishin." Hyuk decides. "Ghost of a waterbound spirit. Like the girl killed 10 years ago is getting revenge."
"We haven't taken on one of those in a while. This'll be fun." Hongbin grins. "And we'll have alone time in the van."
"Go pack our equipment you ." Hyuk laughs and smacks his boyfriend's . Hongbin giggles and heads upstairs.
Hongbin POV~
It was going to be fun. If it really was a water spirit then Hyuk was going to have to fight the spirit over the element. But the spirit didn't have Hongbin on his side. It was going to be fun.
He finishes getting ready and has their supplies in the van by the time Hyde closes. He hurries Hyuk outside and hops behind the wheel, heading out of town. He couldn't wait to get into the action of battle again.
"You think anyone is actually going to be swimming with the death toll being what it is?" Hongbin questions as they near the lake. They pull over next to a bunch of cars.
"Unfortunately everyone thinks they're immune to death." Hyuk sighs as they get out. Loud music echoed from the lake, the sounds of a party intensifies.
Then the screaming started. Hyuk and Hongbin raced toward the dock as they see people running, scrambling away from the water. Loud splashes sound from the edge of the lake.
"Georgia!" A girl screams from the shore.
Ken POV~
Ken looks around as they clean up Hyde. He had been stuck sweeping. He looks around and smiles as he flicks his wrist, using his powers to sweep the floor for him.
Since their training session the night before, Ken had been experimenting with his powers more. He found that they were a lot more useful than he had first anticipated. He could use them to do a lot of things.
He was in the middle of tornado-ing some dirt out the front door when it happened. He was attacked. He screams and runs for his life but he could feel it following him.
Was this how he was going to die? He blasts a torrent of air at it as he dives behind the counter but it seemed to dodge it, appearing before him again. Another scream erupts from him.
Ravi POV~
He hears Ken scream and rushes out of the kitchen to check on him. He finds him cowering behind the coffee counter with his arms over his head, curled up in a ball. He runs to his side.
"Jaehwan! What's wrong?!" He grabs Ken's shoulders, looking him over for signs of assault.
"It... It..." Ken points at the air. It took a moment for Ravi to figure it out.
"Are you talking about the moth?" Ravi questions. Ken nods and then promptly faints from fear. Well. Ravi learned something new about his boyfriend. Moths were his kryptonite.
