"What sets this cliche theme from all the rest is that fact that it is quite well-planned so one event flow naturally from one another with a hint of good-nature unexpectedness.  Nothing seems forced and the comedy aspect is not only "fluffy" but it is also surprisingly heart-warming. Prologue:

My life is a series of perfect plans with my parents as the moderators.

At 15, they enrolled me into a science institute though I had always preferred the art school and without further argument, I studied there.

At 19, they changed my university application by the last minute though I had already passed my entrance exam for the Seoul Art University and again, I blindly followed their plan.

At 21, they cut off my piano class which I secretly joined but of course, leaked out to them, just because they said music is improper for a young lady like me and for one more time, I said nothing to go against them.

The list goes on and on. There are so many things happening in my life are based on the perfect plans determined by my parents and not on behalf of my desires. Still, I don’t mind it. I’m being patient and obedient to them.

That’s why on my 22^nd birthday, the moment my parents announced to me that I’m going to be engaging to a young bachelor – son of my parents’ close friend, I’m once again blatantly agreed to them since...like I said, I don’t want to mind anymore.

Me and the boy, we got engaged after twice meeting each other. We were an absolute stranger when I declared him as my fiancé the day I slipped our engagement ring to his slender finger but after two years getting to know him, I begin to gladly accepting the fact that...

I’ll be marrying Kim Jongin – and that’s the ultimate ending plan my parents have for me before they hand over their responsibility on me to my future husband.

Jongin is a nice gentleman. He’s the first guy ever whom managed to make me wanna stand on my feet and be all perfectionist around him, just to match his godly appearance and angelic attitudes.

I tried, really. For all along these two years, I tried to be the most perfect fiancée ever, for him.

Though there were times I wanted to give up, I wanted to put my mask off but once I lock my eyes with Jongin’s dark brownish orbs, I’m reminding myself again and again that I don’t want to lose him.

I need to be perfect for my fiancé, for my future husband, for Jongin.

All because I thought...I love him.

I really thought I’m in love with Jongin until, this day when I already stand by the very beginning of my wedding aisle.

I look up, glancing around upon a thousand guests seated before me just to bless my wedding day with the man who I thought I love but...here I am having an aching doubt in my heart as I recall someone was asking me...

“Why do you have to go this far, So Eun ah? Love is not about being perfect for each other. Love is about making up for the flaws of your partner. Only that way you both could truly be perfect as one. So why you’re willing yourself to go through all these difficulties just for him?”

I remember I smiled to him. I actually had the gut to smile to him and said, “That’s because I love him. I love Kim Jongin and I’ve been preparing myself for so long to marry him.”

“Are you sure? What if one day you’ll grow tired of it? What if one day you couldn’t wear your mask anymore? Do you really think perfection could keep your love alive for him?”

I gulp, forcing the bitter feeling down my throat with tears already cloud my eyes.

Maybe, maybe he is right. Perfect couldn’t keep this love alive but I guess, it’s already too late to give up.

Right on the dot is my wedding countdown and that man, that man who told me those things I reminded just now, isn’t even here.

And so I think, I shouldn’t keep this doubt anymore.
