Ending Plan Review Result

This is actually just for my personal saving. In case you wanna read, go on.

Title: 5/5
Interesting title, but unfortunately, it's one of those titles that's difficult to make any impression out of it.  By a far stretch of imagination, I supposed someone might think of The Wedding Planner?  I can only see how this title fits with the story once I clicked on the link.  Overall, this title is definitely unique and has the ability to tempt readers to click on the link because they want to know what this story is all about.

Description & Foreword: 10/10
Perfect description and foreword.  Really have nothing glaring to pick on.  Description is a good and attractive summary that pull others to read further.  As for the foreword, besides putting a prologue to hook readers further and anticipate the main story, you are awesome to let others know why you choose these celebrities as your main characters in the story.

Characters: 18/20
Soeun -- A well-written "diva".  One might hate or love her, but can definitely relate with her.  I love her humour (ie. she commented Kris's driving skills to her friend when her friend mentioned that he was "growing into gorgeous".  Then, she didn't even bother to give Kris a chance to make a proper comeback).  She reminds me of a more subtle version of Blair from Gossip Girls.  Finally, the fact that she is a writer makes really easy for other readers (& writers) to feel her pain when her mother doesn't seem to understand her passion.

Kris -- Throughout the story, Kris is presented in the eyes of others and of course, Kim Soeun in particular.  He comes off an introvert, who's personality actually compliments well with Soeun's personality.  Since, almost everything was through Soeun's eyes, readers would anticipate more and more (at least I am) as to what Kris really thinks about her (especially since we all know what Soeun thinks about him).  Then, as if you decided to have mercy on us, you gave us the 3 years later part, but in third person's perspective in order to give us a proper glimpse and closure on what and how Kris really thinks.  His love for Soeun is believable.  He is such a romantic dork.

Jongin -- Honestly, his character is not as fleshed out.  All I saw was a one-dimensional piece of perfection & gentleman.  Since you have taken the time to put him down as one of the important characters (one of the three characters whose name is under the "Characters" line for this story -- you know, the section right besides the tags), you should have done his character more justice (and not making him seem like a disaposable plot device).  I mean, what happened to him at the end?  What was his reaction when Soeun told him off?

Plot: 16/20
Surprisingly, the plot idea is quite a cliche, just that it's in reverse -- the girl was the high school diva and the guy was the bullied victim (instead of the other way around, like the norm).  Then now in the present, the bully needs to depend on the victim somewhat.  Of course, cliche does have merits.  What sets this cliche theme from all the rest is that fact that it is quite well-planned (ie. why Soeun would need to seek Fatty Fanfan's help) so one event flow naturally from one another with a hint of good-nature unexpectedness.  Nothing seems forced and the comedy aspect is not only "fluffy" but it is also surprisingly heart-warming.

I especially enjoy the way the ending is presented, starting from that letter as Soeun walks down the wedding hall.

Though throughout the story, I thought the house sharing part is too idealistic, especially living with your boss's part.  It definitely made me question, "Who in the right mind could tolerant living with his or her boss??"

Finally, the story could have been more perfect, if Jongin's part was elaborated further.  As mentioned under the character section, what happened to him?

Flow: 4/5
One event follows naturally from the last, all in Miss Kim Soeun's interesting former diva perspective.

The 3 years later part should be another part by itself.  It just feels a bit weird to be included with Part Two since this part has been in Soeun's perspective all along.  Making the 3 years later as Part Three would give this story a proper closure, I believe.

Grammar & Vocabulary: 14/15
Saw nothing majorly flawed.  Just a few typos and a couple of paragraphs that should be separated (spacing problem).

["That's the cliche idea ever in my brain...] - Part One, should be clichest or the most cliche.

["Why?  Why can't I call you Fanfan? You were still....and smiles in surrender.]
"But I'm Kris now.  Kris Wu."]  -Part One, spacing problem.

["It doesn't possible, Hee Jin ah.  I was his bullies....] - Part Two, should be isn't and bully.

I believe just a quick read through would help to catch those annoying typos and spacing issues.

Description & Emotions: 10/10
Readers can easily understand Soeun without feeling something is awkward.  The way Kris is presented is really through the lenses of Kim Soeun.  A good balance of details.

Format (Graphics & Layout): 8/10
Nice poster, but I feel the focus should be more on Kris and Soeun, especially since Jongin is really a side character here (an absolute, disposable plot device to be exact).  Nice, readable font.

Overall Enjoyment: 5/5
This story is an absolutely joy.  Even though it's 20K plus words, it didn't feel that long since things were kept moving at a nice, even pace.  I actually read this in one go.  I almost teared up at the letter part as Soeun walked that aisle.

Total: 90/100 //A (*)

I agree, the ending plan is really good!!! It was different from the stories I've read and the characters... I love them. I never thought that KSE would bully Kris...hahaha...Anyway the story has its romantic twists and the part where KSE was reading the letter of Kris...It was so touching...Kris really loves her so much! and I also loved the part about the food, where KSE suddenly tried his Chinese bento and she acknowledged that it's brilliant. I also loved the ending. <3
