Day 9
Rainy DaysDay 9
I stood up helpless from my bed, still thinking about what happened yesterday and hoped that everything was a dream, or better said a nightmare.
On my way to the college I avoided the dance studio. I didn’t want to know the reason why I did that, but something inside of me, told me that I already knew the answer. Even if the sun was shining brightly outside, inside of me was a storm.
“Hey.” I heard Kris saluting while he sat down in the empty chair placed in front of me. “You’re coming to the library pretty often these days.” I tried to smile. “By the way…I saw you yesterday staring at that abandoned dance studio.” I stared at him startled and a little scared.
“It’s not abandoned!” I tried to convince myself more.
“It is since last year!” I shook my head no and tried to ignore him. “Last year there was a fire and the owner died, that’s why it’s abandoned!” I felt how my heart crushed in billions of pieces. I looked at him terrified and tried to hold onto that small crumb of hope.
“But I talked to him yesterday!” I went to his home, I kissed him, I felt him close to me…and that wasn’t a dream. “You’re talking nonsense Kris!”
