EDIT: 10/7/15: Sooooo as you can see this chapter was supposed to be uploaded on 900 days after JJ Project's debut. BUTTT I couldn't find time to finish the chapter by then. Soooo 1,250 days with JJ Project is on October 21st, 2015. So here is the chapter for the people who waited at what seems like forever.

I'm not imagining things right? I mean HE SMILED. The man who tries so hard to hide his feelings. Or...

I shake my head. I don't even know anymore. But. Then again. Even Mark saw him staring or supposedly staring.

RRRIIIIINNNNGGGGGG

Should I get up first? Should I wait for him to get up first?

As Mark leaves, the room he eyes me his "Talk. To. Him. Now." look.

Likewise, I give the "I know" eyeroll back at him.

The room is empty before I know it. We're both just in our seats. Side by side. Just sitting.

This awkward silence reminds me of the other night. It was awkward but it was definitely different. I mean what was I supposed to say? Reveal that it was me who saved him? UH NO. That wasn't part of the plan. I'm so frustrated! What do I say? Wait. But he knows I saved him? I'm so confused!

We're both still sitting there. We aren't looking at each other though. We're just looking straight at the board.

He gets up and walks away without saying anything.

UGH I MISSED MY CHANCE. But then what could I have said? "No problem. Don't mention it. I'd save you in a hearbeat."

Jaebum stops at the door.

Is he gonna look back at me?

No. He just walks on.

I wait a few minutes before I leave the classroom. As I walk out into the hallway, Mark sees me and walks over. 

"Soooooo, how was it?"

I'm confused. "How was what?"

"What do you mean! You guys were in there for the longest time! What happened? What did he say? What did you say?"

"Ohhhhh!" I lie. "Yea, we talked about things. But he wasn't staring at me. He told me he was looking at the girl on the other side, Kim Jinhee. Do you know her?"

"Yea, she likes go to by Jei. I don't talk to her much though."

"Same." Thank god he felt for it. I don't know how to tell him that we didn't say a word to each other. Mark wouldn't understand.

"WAIT! I know for a fact that he was staring at you!" 

. I'm busted.

"No, he wasn't. He explained that he was staring at Jinhee."

He gave out a skeptical look. "Did you guys even talk at all?"

Why can't I tell my bestfriend anything? What's wrong with me. I'm not a liar.

"Jinyoung, are you okay? You know you can tell me anything right? I'll always be there for you, you know?

I let out a sigh. "I know. Sorry, Mark. I don't know what's wrong with me."

"Well, why don't you explain. Start at the beginning, after class."

I tell him what happened. He looks at me in disbelief. 

"DUDE. He obviously likes you. You obviously like him. Why can't you see that!"

I shake my head. "Me. Like him? Uh no. Not possible."

"Jinyoung, man up. Stop denying you're feelings!"

I felt defensive. "I'm not denying anything Mark!" I said it kind of loudly.

It felt like the entire hall froze and stared at me. All eyes were on me. Even Jaebum.

Jaebum just looked at me. It wasn't anything bad. It wasn't anything good. It just felt like he eavesdropped on the entire conversation I had with Mark.

Flustered, my face turned red.

He noticed.

I couldn't handle the pressure. I'm not used to it. So, I walked away from everyone. I started to run. And into the bathroom I went.
