Sunny Side Down
Description
Sunny had a nice job. Until something went wrong, now she's wanted by the police and the government and on the run. She's hoping her American friends can help, she's hoping she can outlast her assailants and find out what all is going on. Hopefully, she can go back to her more or less normal life.
So we'll take a little fun and add in all that IRIS, Athena, 007, Alias and Burn Notice theme and stuff and create this fanfiction. It's still in the works so be patient. I hope you guys enjoy this one and give it some love. It takes your female protagonist and adds your array of kickass and fun friends and battle some slight character shortcomings to battle out the mystery of what the hell happened.
This is won't be perfect and I do apologize. I wanted to try something with characters that weren't perfect, and who were far from best; something I think most spy/action/thriller story lack and add some of my poor attempt of comedy in it. So enjoy.

Foreword
My name is Lee Soonkyu.
Well, I guess for Westerners it’s Soonkyu Lee, but I prefer to go by Sunny. I used to work for the Korean National Intelligence Service, that was until I was made an enemy of the state. I know what you’re thinking, "NIS, she must be a spy or something", but The truth is less glamorous. I was a security team member, a tactical agent. You know those guys dressed in SWAT gear who do the raids with the agents? I was one of those guys, sorry to disappoint but I’m definitely not a spy.
I liked my job, it was a simple 9-5 with great benefits and an awesome paycheck. Everyone liked me at work and I had friends, until one particular day we were called to partake in a raid on a known terrorist cell. It went bad. How bad? Let’s just say is was a trap and a lot of people died. I survived by pure sheer dumb luck. I wish it ended there, it would been so easy to say it did, but no. The other survivors died and an agent on the case suspected there was traitor in the NIS. I don’t know how it happened, but some people tried to kill me at home and I got labeled as the traitor. They think I am part of a terrorist organization.
So now I’m on the run and in hiding from law enforcement, the NIS, INTERPOL and the terrorist organization that set me up. Worst of all, I don’t even know why this is happening to me, but I’ll figure it out and I’ll clear my name.
So what do I do? Well for starters I have to find people who are still willing to help and talk to me and that list is short. It’s amazing how being blacklisted turns your friends against you. Your money is gone, they trashed my apartment and I can’t walk anywhere where there's cameras. Your photo appears on all the city police stations and your friends are visited and asked about your whereabouts. So no one wants to answer.
Why would someone go through so much trouble for me? I’m a nobody really. I was even do for a vacation. I saved up three weeks too, I can’t believe it. I’m the victim here! I got blown up, shot at and my Sunny side world got turned all upside down. I’ll get to the bottom of this, and I’ll find a way to make them pay.
