The backstreets of Seoul are Wonwoo's home away from home. It's a dangerous lifestyle, he knows, but it's not like he can give it up now, and besides- he has nothing to live for, anyway. Orphaned soon after birth, he escaped from the foster home at seventeen with the money his parents left in the bank and has spent the last year sleeping round hostels and cheap motels. He knows how to fight. He knows how to defend himself. He's perfectly fine with a miserable, solitary existence.

Until he meets Mingyu. Or, rather, his fist meets Mingyu's face. The boy runs one of the gangs around these parts, one of the confident ones that terrorize anything that crosses them. Wonwoo, after a brief encounter, realises that he's fallen in love with the dark and merciless kid.

And so he wants to die. Love is a hateful emotion- it never saved anyone. So he sets out to die in the worst way he knows how.
