Previous chapter: 

She picked one book and turned the cover of the book to reveal the very first page. She pointed on to a picture. It was the author.

"It's me," she smiled.

Still half awake, he was trying hard not to fall asleep as he rested his chin on Ren's left shoulder.  Joonyoung couldn't make up whether Ren was joking or not.

"Don't joke around so late at night," Joonyoung laughed as he hugged her.

"I'm not joking tho," she said smiling calmly. "Look at the picture, it's me."

Joonyoung still couldn't believe her as he stared at Ren with his half opened eyes. 

He grabbed the book from her hands and looked closer, studied the picture and looked at Ren. He couldn't really see the resemblance. 

"Wait," he said as he turned her to sit facing him, placing the book right next to her. 

"Aniya," he said tilting his head confused while also scratching the back of his head. Ren couldn't help but chuckled. 

Ren grabbed the book from Joonyoung's hands and positioned herself just as before, in front of Joonyoung with her back leaning on his chest. 

Ren pointed on the description below the picture and asked Joonyoung to hold the book. 

"Dear readers, I am back with another book after such a long period of disappearance," Ren blurted slowly without looking at the book at all. 

"You could have memorized that," Jooyoung still didn't believe her. 

"A lot have happened during those periods and I have gain a lot of inspiration. I have to be honest that at first I wasn't planning to release anymore books after the first one and just continue my life like any other person out there, but with all the events that I had been through, I needed to convey a message to people out there who are struggling as I had. I won't say that this book is better than the first one. No, it is not because I didn't put as much effort on this one as the other, but this was much more difficult to do as I find the message I wanted to convey more important and more personal. As any other writer, I really hope that you guys would enjoy ths book. However tho, I also apolagize for all the readers that would like me to write more in the future because I don't think I would. Thank you so much for all your supports," she continued.

Joonyoung was confuse as hell. What was going on? Maybe it was too much as he just woke up. "What?" he asked again looking strangely at her.  

"I had to change my name," Ren started. "It's a pretty long story," she laughed. Her laugh was soft, short and was full of regret. 

Ren stopped for a while as she tried to remember what really happened, playing with her fingers out of habit.

"To be honest, I don't really remember some of it. But from what I remembered, I was dying..."

Joonyoung looked at her as her hands became noticebly still after she said the word 'dying'. It was so clear in her face that she was scared. She was reminded of the feeling she had back then, the feeling of knowing that she was not gonna be in this world anymore. Joonyoung couldn't relate to that, but he wish he could. 

Ren turned her head towards the box which was on her right. She pulled it towards her and looked futher inside the pocket.

All of the sudden, Ren's eyes widened. It was like something struck her.

She rushed to the box, pulling everything out.

Ren's breathing was becoming noticebly loud, she was getting anxious. 

"Are you oka-" Joonyoung started as he moved towards Ren. But she stopped Joonyoung and tried to make her self stable again. 

Ren was holding tightly onto her shirt, breathing heavier than before. Her lungs seems to malfunction. She was suffering. 

'No!' She thought. 'Not again.'

Joonyoung called for Peniel, shouting his name across the room. 

"An- huh" she breath."Ani," she softly said, out of breath.

Ren wanted to go through this alone, trying her best to rely on her own body to function back to normal. She was boiling inside out of anger. Why can't she do this much?!

Peniel came running from his room, panicking. As he saw Ren struggling to breath, with her forehead on the floor, he picked Ren up.

Ren shouted very loudly, frustrated. 

"This can't do, we need to go to the hospital," Peniel said to Joonyoung, signalling him to drive and he just nodded.

Ren could feel the water droplets dripping from the oxygen mask onto the skin around . Everything felt too familiar to her, too homely. The bright lights above her, the chills she felt as the cold air touched her skin, the uncertainty. 

It was hard for her to open her eyes, but she could hear Peniel's concerned voice as he hurriedly flip through papers. 

"Op..pa.." Ren whispered out of breath. 

However. no one could hear her faint voice. 

Joonyoung was there, standing at the end of the bed, staring at how hopeless Ren looks unable to breath properly, unable to move the way she wanted to. Everything felt fast forward for Joonyoung with him and Ren stuck in time. 

He was there. He was right there with her. He was suppose to take care of her. He was trusted by Peniel to take care of her but why? Why did Ren end up on the hospital bed again? 

Ren was crying out loud, shouting due to the difficulties she was having. She was gripping onto the bed sheets firmly as she endure the pain. However somehow, Joonyoung was unable to move. He knew what was going on, but somehow his body was frozen. Peniel saw how Joonyoung was too shocked at the sudden seriousness of the situation. Peniel shouted, trying to call Joonyoung back to the reality cause right now, Ren needed him. 

It was no good.

"YAH!!" Peniel shouted from the bottom of his lungs and finally, Joonyoung flicked. "Come on! Ren needs you," Peniel encouraged him. 

Joonyoung was finally realising how Ren's right hand had been trying to reach him all this while, she was longing for his support, his presence. 

"Joonyoung oppa," Ren muttered gripping onto his left hand as soon as he was close enough to her. "Oppa," She sobbed, trying to endure the pain.

Joonyoung gently held her fragile pale hand. It was agonizing to watch Ren.

"We can do this okay," Joonyoung gently whispered to her, "We can go through this," looking Ren in the eyes as both their eyes became watery.

Junhyung was just about to head out going to the nearest convinient store about to satisfy his cravings for some convinient store food. Just then, he heard the shoutings coming from Ren's apartment. Junhyung stood still in front of their dorm door, trying to figure out what was going on inside his neighbor's apartment. 

"Car keys, car keys!" Joonyoung shouted holding the front door using his foot while he carried Ren in his arms. 

Seeing how Ren's breathing was unstable, Junhyung couldn't help but worry. He ran towards Joonyoung and helped to hold the door for him.

"Do you need help?" Junhyung asked almost panicking. 

"Get out of my way," Joonyoung glared at Junhyung blaming Beast for what's happening to Ren right now. 

Peniel found the keys. He saw what Joonyoung just did to Junhyung. 

"I got it," Peniel said, pushing Joonyoung to start moving. "Bianhae Junhyung," Peniel apologised. 

Junhyung just stared at them as they continue to run hurriedly.

"What was that?" Junhyung thought reminded of the glare given to him by Joonyoung.
