When Shancai came into class, everyone turned thier eyes on her, but the room was intense because of the 'Shancai-DaoMingSi' ncident out of te hallways earlier. Dao Ming Si kept stealing glances secretly at Shancai once in a while during lecture. Shancai caught him quite a few times but he gets evil looks in return.

After a long lecture but includes practicals, the girls were talking while walking on the way to the campus lake. when they got there, they stood under a tree.

"Girls, lets go to the mall later" Xiaoqiao suggested

"Yeah, lets. I have to buy an outfit for the upcoming showcase" Xiaoyou agreed to Xiaoqiao cheerfully

Shancai stood there not knowing what they are talking about. "Excuse me, ermm what is this showcase you guys are talking about?" Shancai asked

"Ohhh its this special event that the university put together once a year and most of the students perform. Be it solo, a duet or a group. They sing and act or they play instruments. So its kinda like a talent show but without the judges nor the prizes but some famous producers come anx they watch us and also its like a concert ... and well.. also.. you know what i mean hehe" Xiaoqiao explained with some hand gestures as well

"Ahh okei" Shancai nodded "Thats pretty cool"

"Ohh by the way.. what will you be doing then??" Jing asked

"hmm. I dont know yet. I'll think about it." Shancai answered Jing. "What about you guys.. what will you be doing?"

"oh... Xiaoqiao and I will be doing a duet using my Violin and her cello and Xiao you here will be singing even though her spealty is acting." Jing answered

"Ei.. Im singing this year its because I did acting last year. I just wanna do something different" Xiaoyou said as if she is defending herself.

"Okei okei.. no need to be defensive.. sheesh" Jing said s she roll her eyes from left to right as she sighs

Xiaoqiao and Shancai giggled and made Xaioyou pout.

"Sooo you coming with Shancai?" Jing asked

"Huh? where?" Shancai asked

"To the mall. To buy outfits." Jing responded.

"ohh.. sure but only for an hour and half, I have to get home err... because I have to cook my dad's favourite food." Shancai said "if thats ok with you guys?"

"Its fine, Im sure its not hard to find a outfit for you" Xiaoyou said with a big smile.

"its kinda sweet of you to cook for your dad." Xiaoqiao suddenly said.

"Huh?, Dont you guys cook for your parents?" Shancai asked

"Ohh.. we hardly see them. They hardly come home and when they do, we dont actually see them for long" Jing said with a sad voice as she sat down on the grass, Xiaoqiao and Xioyou at with her

"ohhh" Shancai said as she feels bad about asking the question. "Im sorry, did i say something wrong?" as she kneels down.

"no..No you didnt. its just that..
its err... " Xiaoqiao tried to answer but she couldnt as she was sad

Not knowing F4 approached behind them and tried to make them jump but it didnt work.

"thats odd.. it always worked. I wonder whats wrong." Meizuo asked F3. They went infront of them and saw their sad faces.

"Hey.. yooohooo!" Meizuo trid to get their attention but it didnt work but after a few attepmts they seemed to be succeded.

"Oh heyy boyss..." Jing was first the one to noticed them with a gloomy

"Whats up with your faces? Why do you look so sad?" Ximen asked the 3 girls

"Nothing. I just miss mom and dad. I didnt realise that i haven't seen them in a while" Xiaoyou said in sad tone

This made F4 wonder.

"Wait...where in the world did you get the idea of your parents all of the sudden? You never seemed to be bothering about this before" Lei asked

The girls pointed at Shancai. Dao Ming Si sighed.

"Shancai... Shancai. What have you done now?" Dao Ming Si asked with a frustrated voice

"Nothing" Shancai replied. "And hmm.. what do you mean by 'done now'??"

"Well if you didnt do anything they wont be like this then" Dao Ming Si stated and ignoring Shancai's question

"I swear I didnt do anything" Shancai said defensively

"Well what exactly happened??" Ximen asked this time

"Well, they were talking about going to the mall after class and they invited me and I said yes but only for a short while coz i have to get home to cook for my dad and they said its sweet that im doing something for my dad and i saw enviness on their faces and i asked them if they ever do anything for yheir parents and then they became like that, but I dont know if I've said anything wrong" Shancai answered Ximen

"Ben Dan (Idiot)" Dao Ming Si shouted

"Who are you calling idiot?" Shancai shouted back at him

"Urg! Dont you know that we hardly speak of our parents because all they care is about business? And its sad enough that we hardly see them and spend sometime with us and we *reffering F4* know that the girls miss their parents thats why we dont speak of them often" Dao Ming Si Shouted at Shancai's face and F3 stood there just watching and also the girls.

Shancai stood there feeling bad about it. She didnt realise. "Well Im sorry. I didnt even know okei so you dont need to shout at me like that!" Shancai yelled back "I guess the mall is off then. Im sorry to ruin the mood" she looked down at the girls snd walked away.

"Hey Shancai" Jing yelled to get her attention "dont worry about , its not your fault. We'll go tomorrow instead." jing said with a faint smile.
Shancai smiled back and continued to walk.

"What do you mean its not her fault?" Dao Ming Si asked arrogantly.
Lei elbowed him as he is stopping him to talk

"Ahsi, she didnt mean it. Besides we're the one one who started it so you dont have to blame her" Xiaoqiao said said sadly as she walks away from them as Jing and Xiaoyou followed her.

Ximen and Meizuo hit him slightly on his arms and walked away from him

"What?" Dao Ming Si asked as he doesnt really know whats happening and followed them

Lei and Meizuo and Ximen just shook their heads.
While walking walking Dao Ming Si heared someone calling him. This made him groans in frustration

"wazzup babes?" Jesse asked as she leans on his side

Dao Ming Si pushed her a little away from him "Dont call me that" He complained

"Thats my love endearment for you. Dont you like it?" She asked cheerfully as if she doesnt have any problems today

"NO! I hate it. And you dont have the right to call me that. your not even my girlfriend" He angrily said and left her on the spot. This made her sob. Bai he and qian hui approached her to comfort her but Jesse pushed them walked away with tears flowing down.

"Ahsi...that was not very nice" teased Meizuo then sat down on a bench near the campus garden

"I dont care. Its a good thing so shell leave me alone. She is soo annoying" Dao Ming Si said bitterly

"Hey he wont be THE Dao Ming Si if he is nice" Ximen said as he points him

"Whats that supposed to mean?" He said as he pouts

"Hey take that pout out of your face. Its weird" Jing said as she approached them from behind and sat down with them

"Hey Jing. Where is the sad face you had earlier? And where is Xiaoyou and Xiaoqiao?" Meizuo asked

"First of..I thought that there is no point of being sad coz it diesnt make any difference and second they're in class. Which you guys should be in" Jing responded at Meizuo

"How about you where are you suposed to be?" Lei asked her as he didnt say anything for a while

"On my way to practice" Jing answered

"Practice for what?" Lei asked again.

"did you guys forget? Its the annual showacase next week.Im practicing for my violin session" Jing reminded then and answerd Lei's question "ohh by the way, what will you 4 be doing?" She asked

"Ohh yeah'' we dont know yet" Dao Ming Si answered

"Well you better decide soon." Jing said as she stood up and went to her violin practice.

"Soo what do you want to do this year?" Dao Ming Si asked F3

"Well.. tsk. We did acting last year soo why dont we sing this year?" Ximen suggested

F3 seemes to agree with him. They nodded in agreement after they exchanged glances

"Soo.. what shall we sing?" Meizuo asked

"How about Yan Huo De Ji Jie (Season of Fireworks) ??" Lei suggested

"Isnt that a little bit more of a really romantic love song? That isnt us" Ximen said as if he disapproved of the idea of the song they're gonna sing

"Yeah but.. we can dedicate that to our loved ones meaning Jing, Xiaoyou and Xiaoqiao." Lei argued.

"But how about Ahsi? Hedoesnt have anhone to dedicate the song to" Meizuo blurted out

"Well lets just say its for Shancai" Ximen said while laughing. Lei and Meizuo agreed with him.
Dao Ming Si sat there looking into space and didnt hear a word that Meizuo Lei and Ximen were talking about, he stood up an went to class while F3 were distracted talking to eachother. They didnt even noticed that he was gone

"Hey i think Ahsi is more becoming of lei well without all the silent and the sleeping 15 hours a day thing. He creeps out real quiet nowadays" ximen stated "hey man,lets go to class" as he stood up and pat meizuo on his shoulder and followed by Lei and Meizuo.

Fast forward. Class finished and Shancai went straight home and cooked his dad's favourite food from Caribbean cuisine.she prepared the table and everything. Her dad got home from the park with their dog Xiao Bai. Her dad was suprised when he went to the dining room and saw the beautifully set up dining table. Shancai came out of the kitchen with a tray full with drinks. She kissed him on the cheek.

"Hey dad. Dont worry I'll be done in a minute.just sit down and ill call Kai and Sying down for dinner." Shancai said as she puts down the drinks on the table. "Dad, why dont you clean up first and then sit down and we'll eat it" Shancai said as she removes her apron "I'll be right back" she said while heading upstairs.

Upstairs.

"Hey Kai, Sying come down. Dinner is ready." As she knock on their double door. Their room has a little sitting room in the middle and their actual bedroom are on the left and right. Its design by their favourite things. (Get it??) 
Kai and Sying came out immediately and went downstairs. When they entered the dining room, they smelled this fantastic smell of the food.

"Hmmmm it must be dad's favourite foods night" Sying said dreamily as she sniff lightly.

"Wow. it smells good good and looks good and lets see if it taste this good ahaha" Kai said with amazement and a little bit of teasing at the end as he sat down at his normal place.

"Ei! Don't be like that. Its gonna taste fantastic. Your sister worked really hard to make these" Mr. Wong said

"Yeah! Enough with the teasing."Shancai said as she sat down "lets dig in!" She continued.

They ate and exchange stories of how was their days was and of course their dad has a quite a story about their company

"Oh yeah. What are you guys doing for the showcase next week?" Shancai asked as she reminded her siblings about this.

"Oh ill be dancing with my friends" Sying answered

"Same" Kai answered shortly "but not her friends because that will be weird" he added

His dad and his sisters laughed at his comment.

"How about you Shancai, what are you gonna do for your annual showcase?" Her dad asked her

"Ohh i dont know yet, I'll decide by tomorrow" she answered politely.

"Okei"

They had a fun night with their dad. Its been a while since they've been like this.

The next day, near the campus garden, Jesse and Bai He and Qian Hui were practicing and theyere really bad. F4 walked past them and they laughed secretly and they went on walking. On the other side ofthe school whre lies the music department departmentand Xiaoqiao and Jing were practicing their piece and Xiaoyou is just memorising the lyrics of what she is gonna be singing. Shancai on the other hand decided to sing onthe showcase but she doesnt know what is she singing yet. She is in the room with Xiaoyou who is busy humming the tune of her song.

"Ermmm Xiaoyou, can you help pick a song for the showcase?" She asked

"Yeah sure. What songs do you sing often?" She asked back

"Hmm there is a lot" shancai said bavk

"Pick one" Xiaoyou responded shorly

"Errr,Solo " Shajcai answered unsurely

"There you go just pratice that and you are sorted." Xiaoyou said as she went back to her practicing.

"Hmmmm..." Shancai thought hard "i guess that is a pretty good song. Yeah.. thats it. Ill sing that" she thought happily. She stood up and went out of the room. Xiaoyou didnt even notice.

Fast forward. The day of the showcase. Well it was at night so Showcase night. All are ready. They practiced hard.

"Good evening PAU (Performing Arts University)!!!! The MC greeted enthusiastically. The crowd went wild. "Our first performers are Fantabulous Girls (Sying's group) the crowd applauds loudly. They danced with the song of Avril Lavigne 'here's to never growing up' and after a few minutes theyve finished. "Wow! Arent they amazing?" The MC rhetorically asked the audience while clapping. "Now next is the 'Bad Boyzz' (Kai's group) and again, the crowd applaud loudly. "Next is the the pretty girls Jesse and them! They sang 'Love you like a song' by selena gomez. They were pretty good but Bai He ruined their performance just slightly. The audince didnt clapped as loudly as before. "Wew! They were pretty good but not that good okei haha" MC said sarcastically. "Now is the ever pretty ladies of campus Xiaoqiao Shao Jie and Teng Tang Jing Shao Jie." The audience clapped and they played Meizuo's favourite. Doreamon's theme song. Meizuo was suprised when he heard this playing he smiled really wide.

"Hey Meizuo looks like that is dedicated to you. How do you feel?" Ximen said in a teasing voice. Meizuo couldnt reply as he focused on listening to the tune thats playing but blushed intead.

They have finished. After them there are a few students who played different instruments. Xiaoyou sang brighter than the sun by colbie caillat. The audience once again cheered as loud as they can.
"Now, this is gonna be epic! One of the best singer in our university Shancai! Whoo" The Mc introduced Shancai

The song stated to play.

Backstage, after they sang,F3 approached their special someone and hugged them really tight. Jesse approached them as well and hugged Ahsi. He didnt like this.

"Hey Ahsi, nice song out there.was that for me?" She asked calmly while hugging him.

"Dream on." He said on a moody voice. And walk away.

Pin Yin walked past Shancai but didnt say anything because she was too embarrased of what she did before.

Shancai came to her sibkings who are happily talking to their friends.

"Sying.. Kai, you did a great job out there." Sahncai said as she hugs the both of them.

"You too sis." The twins siad in unison. And hugged her as well.
