Ken POV

I smiled waving at hyungs as they left for their date. I’m happy N hyung took my advice and gave Leo hyung a chance. I think they would be perfect together and he deserves happiness. Growing up he was always there for me, looking out for me. A lot of guys had asked hyung out but he rejected them all because he wasn’t into dating. I think he knew that I didn’t like the guys that came up to him. I use to watch them look at him like he was a piece of meat, waiting to be devoured. But when Leo hyung looks at him, I can see sincerity in his eyes. Even if he’s only known him for almost a month I can tell that he has fallen for hyung at first sight. I have decided I would try and talk to Ravi a little more and try to get to know him. I’ve started to realize that maybe I’m being unfair to him and that it’s not his fault what happened to me and I shouldn’t punish him for it.

I made my way downstairs to the kitchen to cook some breakfast. I opened the fridge noticing that I needed to go grocery shopping before the week is over. I don’t have to worry about the food going to waste since my parents stay here when they are in town. They are supposed to be coming back at the end of the week and staying for a while. I decided on some ramen as I grabbed what I needed form the cupboard. I began to cook when my phone went off. “Hello, Lee Ken speaking?”

“Hey Ken its Min.”

“Oh hey hyung, what do I owe the pleasure?”

“I was wondering if you could come in for a minute. I have an upcoming order I need to go over with you.”

“Sure hyung just let me finish eating and I’ll be right over.”

“Great, also you mind making one of your famous Strawberry Cheesecakes for me?”

“Sure, hyung anything for you.” I chuckled as I sat the pot on the counter and grabbed two bowls.

“I can’t wait.” He squeals. “See you soon.”

“Bye hyung.” I said as we both hung up. I sat my phone down as I watched Ravi come into the kitchen. I looked over at him as I stood there in shock. He was wearing dark blue, almost black jeans, with a black beater that hugged his frame showing off his muscles, and a black studded belt. ‘God when did Ravi get so hot? What I would give to—‘

“Hello, earth to Ken?” I was broken form my thought to Ravi shaking his hand in front of my face. I blushed turning away.

“G-good Morning Ravi hyung.”

“How many times I have to tell you to just call me Ravi? And I see you’re talking to me now.” He said as he sat down taking one of the bowls filling it with ramen.

“Yeah, I been thinking and I’m sorry for the way I been acting towards you. I had a really bad past and I took it out on the wrong person.” I said eating some of the ramen.

“It’s okay, I understand. So hyungs are out for their date?” He said eating the last of the ramen.

“Yeah, they left a couple minutes ago.” I said putting my bowl in the sink before making my way to the front door. “Where you going?”

“Oh I got called in for an order briefing, so I was going to catch a cab.”

“If you want I can take you. I have no plans today.” He said grabbing his keys. I nodded as we made our way out the house. After making sure the door was locked before heading towards Lee’s Catering. The ride was silent, which was fine by me. I couldn’t help but sneak looks over at Ravi. This is the first time I ever got to really sit as look at him. I never noticed how handsome he was. I watch as our eyes met before looking away, feeling the blush creeping up on my cheeks. ‘Get it together Ken’. Soon we arrived at Lee’s catering. Ravi parked the car as we both got out and made our way inside. I was greeted by everyone before sitting at a table in the back where Min hyung was sitting.

“Ahh Ken you made it and who is this?” He said grinning at me.

“Ravi this is my best friend and co- owner Minhyuk. Min hyung this is Kim Ravi.”

“It’s nice to meet you.” Ravi said shaking his hand. “Likewise” He said smiling before we sat down. “So hyung what you got for me?”

“We got a wedding coming up in a month. There will be 300+ people attending and I’m going to need all hands on deck. I need to you fix the cake and cook a couple main dishes.”

“Got it, what kind of food are they looking for?” I said looking over the paper.

“They didn’t say but they left a name and address and told me to send you over so you can discuss things.” He said handing me a business card.

“Kim Jonghyun, Jellyfish Agent.” I said as I read the card.

“Kim Jonghyun, that’s my agent. I’ll call him and see if we can meet somewhere.” Ravi said as he excused himself to call his agent. I watched as Ravi got up and started to call his agent. He had put a button down shirt on over his beater so I couldn’t see his muscles as much. I pouted a little before I turned my attention back to Min hyung noticing the smirk on his face. “Hyung why are you looking at me like that?”

“Nothing, so when were you going to tell me you were dating again?” He said leaning on his hand.

“I’m not dating him, N hyung is working as a personal assistant for his roommate, and he asked if we could use the beach house to get him away from his agent.”

“Too bad, he looks like a hottie.”

“Besides, you know I’m not interested in dating anyone.” I said as I put the paper back in the folder and putting it in my bag.

“Ken it’s been 2 years since it happened. I know what happened to you was terrible. Believe me I was there, and you should move on and be happy.”

“That’s what everyone keeps telling me but—“I was cut off by Ravi coming back over to us. “He said they will me us at the café down the street in 5 mins.” He said as I nodded and got up.

“Well hyung I’m going to head out. I’ll call you with the details later.” I said taking my bag and putting it on my shoulders.

“Okay Ken, and don’t forget my cake.”

“I won’t” I said as we left.

Ravi POV

After we left Lee’s catering, we decided to walk to the café since it was right down the street. I heard a little of what they were talking about and I can’t help but wonder what happened to Ken in the past. I know N hyung keep saying that it was really hard on him, but said when Ken was ready he would tell me himself. We walked inside as we sat at a table. A waitress came over to us asking for our orders as we gave them to her. I looked over at Ken as he read over the information in the folder. Soon Jonghyun hyung and Key hyung walked in pushing a baby stroller.

“Hey Ravi” He said as we stood ad greeted him. Jonghyun hyung sat beside me while Key hyung sat beside Ken pulling the baby stroller beside him.

“Hyung this is Lee Ken, he’s Leo hyung’s personal assistant N’s roommate.” I said point to Ken.

“It’s nice to meet you. Ravi talks about you all the time.” He said shaking Ken’s hand.

“Oh really? All good I hope.” Ken said smiling while shaking his hand. I felt my heart skip a beat before the waitress came back with our order.

“I’m Kim Kibum, but everyone call me Key.”

“Oh I know you; you’re that famous clothing designer that’s well known around the world. I heard you were coming out with a new line soon.” Ken said sipping his drink.

“Yeah but that won’t be till after the wedding.”

“Well congratulations, now how about we get down to business. What kind of menu did you have in mind?”

“Well me and Jjongie were thinking of going with a Korean and American style foods.”

“Anything in particular?” He said writing everything down. I watched as they talked about the menu. This is the first time I seen Ken at work. He looks serious as he asks questions and taking notes of everything that’s said. My thought were interrupted by the baby crying.

“Aww Hyung Ki baby what’s wrong?” Key asked rocking the baby.

“I think he needs to be changed. I’ll get it.” Jonghyun hyung said before taking Hyun Ki from his arms and cradling him. I offered to help as I grabbed the diaper bag. Key thanked us before turning his attention back to Ken. When we got in the bathroom, hyung put the baby changer down before laying a disposable changing pad down and started changing Hyun Ki.

“So Ravi I couldn’t help but notice you staring at Ken the entire time. Is something going on?” He said removing Hyun Ki’s diaper.

“What makes you think that hyung? We’re just friends” I felt something twinging in my heart when I said those words.

“You like him don’t you?”

“What?”

“I seen the way you have looked at him just now and you talk about him all the time.”

“I-it’s not like that hyung really.” I said playing with the baby’s hands while he cleans him up and putting a fresh diaper on him.

“Well if you do like him, I think you guys would make a cute couple.” He said picking up the baby. ”Don’t you think Hyun KI?” the baby giggled before I held my arms to hold him. Hyun Ki patted my cheeks before giggling at me.

“I think Hyun Ki wants to see you guys together.”

“Can we talk about this later hyung?” I said as we made our way back out. Soon Key hyungs phone rang before he answered it. Ken wrote something down before packing up everything and finishing his latte. Soon Key hyung hung up the phone putting it back in his pocket.

“Who was the Hun?” Jonghyun hyung asked finishing his drink.

“I have to attend a meeting in Jeju tomorrow morning and I need to leave tonight.” He said gathering his things.

“Ravi, you mind watching Hyun Ki for a couple days while were gone?” Jonghyun hyung asked as he gathered his things.

“I don’t mind. What about you Ken?” I asked bouncing Hyun Ki while he tries to grab the fork as I moved it away from him.

“I’m fine with it.”

“Great, I just have to pack a couple things for him before we go.” Key hyung said as he got up and reached for Hyun Ki. I hand him Hyun Ki as I got up followed by Ken. “We’ll follow you to your house then.”

They nodded as we all left the café. Me and Ken made our way back to my car before getting in and heading to Jonghyun hyung’s home. When we arrived I followed Jonghyun to his room to help him pack as Ken joined Key hyung in the baby’s room.

Ken POV

I followed Key to the baby’s room as I sat down on a chair. He handed me Hyun Ki as I sat him in my lap, while he chew on a teething ring.

“I’m sorry if this is an inconvenience for you Ken.” He said going through the drawers.

“Oh it’s not, don’t worry. “ I said rocking in the chair.

“Hey Ken, can I ask you something?” He said putting some diapers and clothes in a bag.

“Sure.”

“How do you feel about Ravi?” I stopped rocking as I looked at the baby in my lap. He was staring up as me reaching for my face as I brought it closer as he patted my nose. “What’s there to feel?” I said as I continued to play with the baby.

“It’s just Jjongie tells me he talks about you a lot and I’ve heard him sometimes and it seems like he has a thing for you. Ravi and Jjongie are really good friends and I consider him family. I just want to see him happy.” He said sitting on the ottoman in front of me.

“I’m not really looking for anything right now. I had a bad past and I don’t know if I’ll ever get past it.” I said lifting Hyun Ki as he stood on my knees for a little before bouncing.

“Does it have anything to do with you ex? Ravi said he seen a picture of you two.”

“Partially. Can we not talk about this please?” I said as Hyun Ki laid on my chest.

“Sure, but you should give him a chance. I know Ravi might seem like a hard but he's really a good guy.” I nodded before Ravi came and said that him and Jonghyun were done packing. He grabbed Hyun Ki’s baby bag as I carried him down stairs. Ravi already had his baby seat in his car as I strapped the sleeping baby in. We said our goodbyes as we made our way back to the house. When we arrived, we took everything inside. Ravi set up Hyun Ki’s play pen as I laid him in it covering him up. I walked into the kitchen to look over the file and call Minhyuk hyung.

“Hello, Ken.”

“Hey hyung, so I got the list. He wants to have Korean and American style foods. He wants a variety. I already went over with him about the cake. He said they are expecting over 600+ people now.”

“Wow that’s a lot. Okay I’ll call Peniel and Kevin in and give them their assignments.”

“Okay hyung. I’ll make you cake in the morning and bring it by.”

“Ooo I can’t wait. Have you thought about what I said?” He said as I sighed.

“I’ll think about it.” I said as he hummed. We said our goodbyes as I made my way to the living room. Ravi was sitting on the armchair looking over what I assumed to to be his schedule. I sat down on the couch as I began to look at a magazine. I looked at the clock as it read 4 PM. We were out for a while. I wonder how hyung’s date would go. Soon my phone buzzed as I saw a text from Leo hyung. I read the message before smiling and sending a reply. I put my phone down before noticing Ravi looking over at me.

“Who was that?”

“Leo hyung, he wanted to ask me something.”

“What’s that?”

“It’s a secret” I said winking. I could have sworn his face flushed pink. I giggled a little before Hyun Ki woke up squirming. I checked on him before sitting on the floor with him and some of his toys. I started to taking a liking to Hyun Ki. Ravi joined us soon as Hyun Ki took a ball and keep hitting him in the head with it. I chuckled as Ravi smiled at me. I smiled back before Hyun I clapped his hands laughing with us. We spent most of the afternoon playing with Hyun Ki before it was already 830pm and time for his bath. Ravi went to bathe him as I cleaned up the toys. After I was done I went to help him. I picked out some Pjs for him before going into the bathroom. I laughed seeing Ravi soaked as Hyun Ki clapped his hands.

“Let me guess you two were playing and he won.”

“Hey it’s not funny’ he pouted. I laughed before helping him. I took Hyun Ki out getting him ready for bed. Ravi took his showered while I cooed and played with the baby. For the first time in my life since 2 years ago I laughed from my heart. Soon Ravi came out as I went to take mines.

I finished feeling refreshed before noticing they weren’t in the room. I kept drying my hair as I made my way downstairs. I smiled at the scene. Ravi was laying on the floor with Hyun Ki laying at his side on a pillow holding his finger. I laid beside them and I felt Hyun Ki hold my finger. I smiled as I closed my eyes feeling sleep over take me.
