Ken POV

I woke up the next morning at 6 am, so I could prepare breakfast for everyone. Since their flight leaves in the next 3 hours, I didn’t want them to leave on an empty stomach. I shuffled out of bed as I looked over at Ravi. He was curled up in a ball hugging his pillow. I smiled as I thought to myself if he imagines that I’m that pillow. I shook my head of the thought, as I made my way to the bathroom to get dressed.

Once I finished, I made my way to hyung’s room as I knocked lightly and looked inside. When I looked inside, I saw Leo and N hyung were still asleep in bed. I leaned on the doorframe as I admired the scene. Leo hyung had his arms around N hyung, one around his waist while the other was being used as I pillow by N hyung. Leo hyung’s fingers were threaded through N hyung’s hair, while N hyung’s face was buried in his chest. I never seen hyung sleep so peaceful before. I'm happy that I gave Leo hyung a chance. I can tell that his intentions towards him are pure and maybe full of love.

I slowly closed the door, as to not wake them, and I made my way to the kitchen to start breakfast. I decided on French for this morning as I grabbed a loaf of bread and some eggs out the fridge. (A/N: this is how my aunt makes them) After starting a pot of coffee, I started to mix the eggs and seasoned them just a little. I grabbed a frying pan as I sprayed some cooking oil in it as I waited for it to get hot. Once the pan was ready, I dipped a slice of bread in the egg mixture and added it to the pan. Occasionally I would flip it so it can cook evenly on both sides. Once I finished the first batch and got it on a plate, I started on another one. Soon I heard footsteps come into the kitchen. I turned around to see Leo hyung dressed and sitting at the table.

“Good Morning hyung”

“Good morning Ken.” He said sitting at the table. I took out the batch I was doing before pouring Leo hyung a fresh cup of coffee. I sat the mug down in front of him before returning to finish the rest of breakfast. “I just made it. It might be as good as hyung’s but it’s still pretty good.” I said looking at him really quick as he took a sip.

“It’s great Ken thank you.”

“Please call me Jae or Jaehwan.” I said finishing up and sat the plate on the table. He nodded as he sipped his coffee. “Also Leo hyung, I wanted to thank you for keeping N hyung happy. I felt I made the right decision when I let you guys date.”

“Thank you Jae and your welcome. I promise I will never hurt your hyung.”

“I will hold you to that. Speaking of N hyung where is he?”

“In the shower, he should be done soon”

“Well go ahead and help yourself to breakfast. I have to see if I can wake up Ravi.” I said taking off my apron walking towards the room.

“Good luck” I heard him say as I turned the corner. Once in my room, I walked over to Ravi and started to shake him. He just groaned but continued to sleep, so I threw the covers off of him and shook him again. He was able to open his eyes but again fell back asleep. I sat there thinking what I should do before I crawled on the bed beside him. I tried shaking him again to no avail. As soon as I went to push him out the bed, I felt him grab my arm as I was pulled on top of him. I struggled to get out his grip before he spoke. “I’m still tired so come back to bed.” He said putting his arms around my waist. I tried to get out of his grip again before I spoke. “You have to get up and get ready…t-their flight l-leave in about 2 hours and you still need to eat.” I said as I felt his grip tighten more. I just realized how close our faces are as a blush started to creep up on my cheeks. Soon his eyes opened as he stared back into mines. “Okay, I’ll let you go and I’ll get ready on one condition.”

“W-what?”

“Kiss me”

“H-Huh?”

“Kiss me and I’ll let you go.” I blushed even more as I tried to avoid eye contact with him. Soon a turned to him and gave him a quick peck on his cheek. I heard him chuckle before he turned my face towards him. “Not there...” He said before I felt his lips on mines. I froze up for a sec as I felt his lips dance slowly across mine. Without even realizing, I slowly got into the kiss closing my eyes as I responded to it. Soon we pulled away as I felt his grip on me loosened. I slowly sat on the bed as I let my hand ghost over my lips.

After he got up to go take a shower, I made my way back to the kitchen where I saw N hyung finishing his breakfast. “Good morning Jae.” He said with a smile.

“G-good morning.” I said quickly sitting down before starting to eat my share.

“Jae you face is red, do you have a fever?”

“H-huh… ummm… no it’s just.” I said before looking down at my lap.

“Ahh I get it,” Leo hyung said before showing me a rare smile. “Ravi did something when you went to wake him up didn’t he?” All I could do was nod as I finished up my breakfast.

“He didn’t do anything to hurt you did he? Cause if he did I’ll—“

“N-No hyung its nothing like that. He just… kissed me that’s all.” I said gathering our dishes.

“Oh Jae there’s nothing to be embarrassed about.” N hyung said smiling at me. Soon Ravi joined us as he started to eat his breakfast. I took glances at him as I finished cleaning up the kitchen. The way he kissed me, it felt so caring and loving. I’ve never been kissed like that before by anyone. Except… I tried not to think about the past with my ex as I finished putting the dishes away.

Leo POV

 “Alright let’s go” Ravi said as we made our way down to the car park. When we got to his car, we put our bag in the trunk and started to get in. Him and Jae sat in the front while me and Hakyeon sat in the back. I looked over seeing him looking at things on his phone before he had a frown on his face.

“What’s wrong Yeonnie” I said putting my hand on his.

“Mr. Kim keep texting me wondering where we are. I just hope this trip will be peaceful even though we have to deal with him.”

“Don’t let him get to you N hyung, Mr. Kim does have a tendency to get under your skin, but I’ve learned to ignore him. Hopefully when you guys come back we have more information on what to do about him.” Ravi said peeking through the rearview mirror from time to time.

“In the meantime just go and enjoy yourself this weekend and have a safe trip.” Jae said as returned his attention back to the front. We arrived at the airport with 45 mins to spare. We got checked in and headed towards our gate. Once we arrived, I noticed Mr. Kim standing by the gate on his phone. He spotted me and the others as he made his way over.

“There you guys are, you’re lucky you got here with time to spare.”

“Mr. Kim the flight doesn’t leave for another 30 mins now. Can we just have a nice relaxing trip without any drama.” He said as we sat down on one of the bench.

“This isn’t a pleasure cruise. Leo is going on this trip to work not to last around like he’s on vacation.” He said as he looked over at Jae and Ravi. “And what are you two doing here? Don’t you have somewhere to be?”

“My schedule isn’t until 10 so I’m here to see my hyungs off.” Ravi said putting an arm around Jae.” Plus, it’s none of your business why we’re here.”

“whatever” and that was all he said before going by the gate. Soon an announcement came over the PA.

“Flight 567 to Singapore is now boarding.”

“That’s our flight” Hakyeon said as he got up along with Jae and Ravi.

“You guys have fun and have a safe trip. Don’t worry about me just enjoy yourself and Leo hyung do your best.” Jae said giving us a hug.

“I’ll try to and Ravi I’m trusting you with Jae. Make sure you keep him safe and out of trouble. I know he has to work at the club this week and knowing one of them could follow him home--.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to take good care of him.”

“Last call for flight 567 to Singapore.”

“We better go. Bye guys”

“Bye” I said as we waved to them and boarded the plan. We found our seats as we put our carry-ons overhead and sat down. We’re riding in first class, while Mr. Kim has to ride in coach. I don’t think he’s too happy about it but that’s life. Soon the plan took off in the air. Hakyeon sat by the window watching Seoul grow smaller and smaller, while I put my headphones in and leaned back trying to enjoy the flight.

Ken POV

I watched as their plane took off. I hope they can manage to have some alone time with each other. I remember hyung saying they had until Monday to relax and do whatever they wanted. Knowing Leo hyung he would probably take N hyung on a date, and hopefully Mr. Kim doesn’t get in the way. Soon me and Ravi made our way back to his car. I never had anyone stay with me at our apartment. Usually I would stay with someone else or N hung would trust me alone but I understand that he worries and I’m thankful.

We got in the car and started to head to Ravi’s schedule. The car ride was silent as I watched the scenery go by. The only thing on my mind right was that kiss. Why did Ravi kiss me like that? It’s not like were dating or anything right? I mean he never really officially asked me out. Should I ask him? What if he says no? I didn’t realize I was so deep in thought before Ravi spoke up.

“Hey Jae are you alright? You been out of it since we left the airport.”

“Y-yeah, I just hope those two can have a nice time together without Mr. Kim getting in the way.”

“They’ll be fine. Knowing Mr. Kim, he’ll be somewhere either embezzling hyung’s money or trying to find a way to make a lot more.”

“I hope hyung sues him for everything he’s got. No agent should use their client as their personal ATM.” I said crossing my arms and looking to the front.

“Let’s just hope Kiseop and Eunkwang hyung can help us out.” He said as we continued the car ride. Soon we arrived at the location of Ravi’s shoot. It was a beach photoshoot and it was the perfect day for. The sun was shining and the wind lightly blowing, with only a few flutter of clouds in the sky. I followed Ravi over to the beach as I took off my shoes holding them as I walked with him over to his agent, who just got off the phone.

“Ahh Ravi you’re here. I take it Leo and N are off on their flight.” Ravi’s agent, Jonghyun said as he made his way over to us.

“Yep, so while he’s gone I will be stay at N’s place keeping Jae company.”

“That’s great. Jae Bummie has been telling me and showing me the arrangement you guys have set up and I want to thank you for helping my Bummie get the wedding of his dreams.”

“It’s no trouble at all. I haven’t done a wedding in such a long time and it’s an honor to make both your dreams come true.” I said giving him a smile as he smiled back.

“Ravi the director is ready for you to shoot. You can go over there to the tent for hair and makeup. I’ll keep Jae company for you while you’re working.”

“Thanks hyung.” Ravi said as he made his way to the tent.

“Ravi hyung”

“Yeah Jae?”

“Fighting” I said giving him an encouraging smile. He smiled back before nodding, then disappearing into the tent. Me and Jonghyun hyung made our way over to shady area under an umbrella and sat on one of the beach towels. I noticed his fiancée Key was sitting there as well holding a sleeping Hyun Ki.

“Good morning Key hyung.” I said bowing to him.

“Good morning Jae, I’ve never seen you come to one of Ravi’s shoots.”

“Well N hyung and Leo hyung had to leave on a flight to Singapore this morning for a week so Ravi is staying with me, since hyung will get worried.”

“Well that’s nice of him. I’m on vacation until after the honeymoon.”

“Really? Are you going to take Hyun Ki with you?”

“We thought about it, but he’s going to stay with some friends of ours for the first week and a half before they join us on our last two weeks.”

“Well I hope you guys enjoy yourselves and have a safe flight.” I said as they thanked me. Soon Ravi came out of the tent fully dressed. I couldn’t help but blushed as he looked over at me smiling. I gave him a shy smile before he went to talk to the director. Jonghyun hyung got up and joined him.

“I know that look.” Key hyung said looking at me with a smirk on his face.

“What look?”

“You like him don’t you?”

“Maybe…. A little.” I said looking down at my hands.

“A little?” he said with an eyebrow raised.

“Well... it’s complicated.”

“You can talk to me Jae.” He said sitting a now awake Hyun Ki in his stroller with one of his toys.

“Well I had a really bad break up in the past, so I gave up on dating or liking anyone for that matter. But since I been spending time with Ravi I feel like the wall I put up around my heart is slowly breaking down and I’m scared that I’m feeling this way for him so fast.”

“I don’t know what happened to you in the past but Ravi is a very sweet guys in my opinion. He usually puts others before himself. He’s always with his hyung Leo cooking for him, cleaning, making sure he gets to rest. Whenever Leo comes home sick or exhausted from a schedule, Ravi is always there to pick him up and take care of him. If you really like Ravi, you should embrace that feeling. To me like Jonghyun and Leo, Ravi is one of kind and once you get ahold of him, you should never let him go.” I smiled thinking about what he said before looking over at Ravi’s shoot. I feel like I already accepted Ravi into my heart. I’m just afraid of the past repeating itself again, but I have to forget what happened then and live for what’s going on now.

Ravi POV

The shoot was going really well. They were going for a ‘fun in the sun’ concept. I finished up a pose before the photographer walks over to me.

“You’re doing well Ravi, but I feel like it needs something more.”

“Like what sir?”

“Hmmm” I watched as thought about it before looking over at Jae. “You!”

I watched Jae look around before pointing to himself. “Yes, could you come over here a moment." he said as Jae got up and quickly made his way over to the photographer.

Ken POV

I made my way over to the photographer and stood beside Ravi. “Yes sir, you wanted to see me?”

“Yes, what’s your name?”

“Lee Jaehwan, sir.”

“From Lee’s catering?” I just nodded.

“Well Jae, I want you to model with Ravi here. The shoot we’re doing is about having fun in the sun, but just taking shots of him stand alone on the beach might now appeal to a bigger audience. So I wanted you two to interact with each other. Just pretend I’m not here and have fun.”

“you want me… to model with Ravi... b-but I…I... I’ve never done this before.”

“You’ll be fine, just pretend were on a date.” Ravi said as he leads me to hair and makeup.

‘But what if I don’t want to pretend.’ I thought as I made my way inside the tent. Soon I came out of hair and makeup, shyly tugging at my shirt sleeve as I walked over to Ravi. The photographer told us to begin as Ravi took my hand, making me blush. He slowly started to pull me towards the water on the beach as we walked along the sands.

“Relax, it’s just us don’t worry about the camera.” Ravi whispered in my ear. “Now show me your beautiful smile.” I looked up at him.

“You think my smile is beautiful?” I said as he nodded. I stared in his eyes for a second before I had to widest grin on my face. We continued to walk before I went by the water and splashed him. He looked at me shocked before I laughed at him. Before I knew it, he came chasing me as I ran out of his reach. Soon I felt him lift me up and swing me around as we both ended up in the water. “I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time.” I said as I looked up at Ravi finally noticing the position we were in. I couldn’t help but lean in and quickly pecked his lips. He looked at me shocked before my eyes got wide and I tried to stand up, looking everywhere but at him.

“I think we got all we need to today. Thank for helping us with the shoot.”

“I-it was no trouble at all. I-I’m g-glad I could help.” I said bowing. I made my way back over to the tent where they handed me a towel and exited the tent so I could change again. As I was putting on my on, shirt I saw Ravi enter the tent to change as well. I looked down finishing getting dress before I tried to walk past him. Suddenly he grabbed my arm and before I could react he turned me around and his lips were on mine. The kiss ended quicker than it started before he let me go. I pput my head own as I ran to his car sitting in it, putting my hand on my chest.

‘Why is my heart beating so fast? And why…. why did I kiss him? I mean I know that I feel something towards him but am I really ready to move on?’

Lost in my thoughts, I didn’t realize Ravi had gotten into the car until I heard the engine start. The car ride was quiet and somewhat awkward. Neither one of us said anything, both of us not knowing what to say to the other. It was like this until we reach my apartment complex. I got out the car as I made my way towards the entrance and waited by the elevator. When I saw Ravi coming towards me I pushed the button calling the lift as we got in and stood on opposite ends. The ride in the elevator was just as silent as the car ride.

When we got back in the apartment, I tried to run to my room but before I could close the door Ravi made his way in. “What’s wrong?” He said with an unreadable expression on his face.

“N-nothing, I just… I just wanted to— “

“Back at the beach… you kissed me. After that you been acting awkward. Do you regret it?”

“….” I looked up at him as I stared into his eyes trying to read his expression but nothing.

“Do you regret ever kissing me? Are you that afraid to let someone in that could possibly heal your broken heart?”

“Ravi I— “

“The times we spent together… I felt like we were finally getting along and that we were making progress. I felt like... like I might actually have a chance of being with you… but now I don’t know if you really want to give this a try or if you’re just playing— “I ran across the room and kissed him. I didn’t want to hear the hurtful words he was saying any longer. I slowly pulled away as I hugged him burying my face in his chest.

“I’m scared…Ravi.”

“Scared of what?”

“I scared that this isn’t real. I’m scared that I might get hurt again. I’m scared that I feel this way towards you and we’ve only know each other for almost 2 months.” I felt his arms slowly wrap around me and his head lay on top of mines as I close my eyes.

“Jae... whatever you’re going through, let me help you. Share some of your hurt, your pain, you fears, your worries, everything with me. I promise you that whatever it is that’s made you this way. I will make it go away. I will heal the broken heart that you protect so dearly. Let me be the one to protect your heart from the things you’re worried about. (A/N: Damn this would make a good proposal) Let me love you, let me be that special someone in your life, and let me be your strength… Go out with me… and be my boyfriend.” And at that I opened my eyes. I slowly backed away a little as I looked up into his eyes. I looked to see if this was just a trick to lure me into something but all I saw was love, sincerity, everything that I want in those eyes. I nodded my head slowly as one of his hand moved down to my waist, the other on my cheek. My arms came up and around his neck as he slowly leaned in and kissed me. This kiss brought tears to my eyes, because I felt the love, warmth, all of Ravi’s feeling poured into that one kiss.

When we finally broke away, I smiled up at him tears flowing down my cheeks as he gently wiped them away and hugged me close. I felt like some of the weigh I had been carrying was lifted off my shoulders. He stopped hugging me, as he took my hand, leading me to the livening room. We both sat on the couch cuddled up in each other’s arms, in silence, as we enjoyed each other’s company

I’ve decided to give love another chance and this time, I think I’ve got it right.
