The wind blows cool but warm by the summer air. I was staring up at the blue cleared sky with my back resting on the lively green field.  The sun was bright up in the sky, but it wasn’t as bright as the person next to me. To me that person is the brightest in my eyes and I felt like the sun had drew a spotlight on her, making her glow

I felt the pressure on my right hand as I turned to my left, there was the most enchanting lady in the world. Yoora flashed me one of her brightest smile that made me captivated at the sight of her. She grasped my hand with both of her hands  

“Byungheon! Don’t go to sleep! It’s summer! We are supposed to be playing not dozing off on a picnic!” Yoora excitedly pulled my hand. I laughed as I sat up “Playing? I thought we are supposed to eat on a picnic” I asked as I flipped my bangs to the side “Well, lucky for you~ Your mate happens to be the best cook in the world” Yoora grinned as she fumbled with the picnic basket

Mate? I like the sound of that

“Oh really now?” I teased “Yes. Really” Yoora nodded as she took out a couple of sandwiches, a container containing a couple of riceballs, a couple of fruit juices and a couple of everything. “Open wide” She held out a piece of chocolate chip cookie and I bite half of it “Did you buy this?” I asked playfully “Of course not! I made this!” Yoora said

“Are you sure? It tastes exactly like the one in the bakery in town” I teased “I made this. Are telling me that I’m lying?” she pouted “No, I’m complimenting that you are a good cook” I grinned “Oh Byungheon” she rolled her eyes as she chuckled

“Come here” I pulled her forward making she lay down beside me “Byungheon!” Yoora whined “Shh” I placed my forefinger on her lips as I made her lay her head on my chest. I looked up and closed my eyes, loving the moment I’m having with her

“Don’t go to sleep!” Yoora whined “I’m not” I said with my eyes close “Yes you are” she retort “No I’m not” I shook my head, eyes still shut “Wake up Byungheon” she shook my chest “I’m not sleeping” I said “Byungheon” she shook me

“Wake up” Yoora’s whining voice suddenly turned panicked “Byungheon wake up” she called out well more like shouting making me furrowed my eyebrows “Byungheon!”

“BYUNGHEON WAKE UP!”

I snapped open my eyes and a white room greeted me. No sunny sky, no green field, no picnic but there is Yoora beside me. And Jin. “Byungheon! Are you okay? You passed out in the middle of the hall” Yoora frantically asked “Passed.. out?” I slowly blinked my eyes as I turned to Jin. He had a worried look on his face. I looked at the pair who were side by side and everything hit me like a bullet train

“You guys are together?” I asked without thinking “Oh.. you’ve heard us?” Jin blushed as he rubbed his nape “Yea.. we are together” Yoora smiled but not at me, at Jin “But that’s not important! Why did you passed out?” Yoora asked with furrowed eyebrows

I found out my mate said yes to another man. Of course I can’t say that

“I guess I was tired and I’m not feeling so good..” I answered in   a monotone voice “Are you okay now?” Jin asked “No” I truthfully answered “I want to go home” I sat up “But the teacher said you aren’t supposed to get up now” Yoora bite her lower lips “I’ll be fine” I gave her a tiny smile before standing up

“Thanks. See you tomorrow” I walked lifelessly towards the door “Do you need some help?” Jin asked “No” Not from you. I didn’t turned back as I walked out of the room, out of the school and into the forest

“I am not ing okay”

The clothes were ripped off as fur covered my body. Claws came out, sharp and dangerous. I felt my canines showing making me growled in pain. I am in pain. Emotionally in pain.

MY MATE HAD JUST AGREED TO ANOTHER MAN

I howled to the sky and speed through the trees. The ground was fast under me, I didn’t know where I was going but I need to get out there. I need to get the thoughts of my head. What thoughts? Them. And it was more painful than seeing the love of life saying yes to another man.

I saw Jin holding her hand, hugging her, kissing her. I saw how he cared and looked at her how I would. I saw how happy she was and how she loved him. I saw how I just stood by the side line, smiling as if I was happy for her. Truly happy. But I’m not

I didn’t want to imagined all of those, I didn’t want to see it. But I couldn’t’. Who would in this situation? It killed me but the overthinking, my thoughts didn’t stop. I jumped over the cliff and into the river below me. I was underwater, the current was strong but I didn’t fight it, instead I let it took me wherever it wants

I closed my eyes as I felt myself turning back into a man but I didn’t make any move to swim back up. I let the water drown me like my thoughts. But then something hit me, it’s not over. I opened my eyes and I swam my way up.

It’s not over. They had agreed to date not to get married. I can’t let it go this easily. I didn’t got her now but you’ll never know as time play apart. They weren’t meant for each other, we were. I had to step back until time agrees for me to step in. I can’t give up now. She’s mine. I had to wait.

And wait was what I did
