when i was your man。
CHAPTER thirteen...
His heart broke into two as he saw her dancing under the lights with another man. If only his ego and pride hadn’t gotten in the way – it would be you and him standing under the lights and dancing. What broke his heart even more was that the song playing was the song that you once shared with him – now you were sharing the song with another man. First love was always the hardest.
Jinyoung knew that it was too late to fix the mistakes that he had made. Perhaps if had given you more time things wouldn’t be the way that they are now. Even if it was small things that he had for you he knew that you would still be in his arms. Whenever he thought back to the night that it all ended between you two he felt he couldn’t breathe and the tears would start rolling down his cheeks.
Stepping into the apartment after a busy day filled with vocal lessons, dance practices and meetings, Jinyoung was surprised by the sight that greeted him. The only down side that it wasn’t the kind of surprise that would make someone jump for joy, but instead make them fall to their knees in pain. And that was exactly what he did.
Seeing you with your suitcase in hand and the straps of a backpack on your shoulders hit him hard. He had never felt so vulnerable; it felt as if he was physically feeling his heart break in two. It wasn’t just the emotional pain.
No matter what he said, you wouldn’t listen, telling him
