Chapter 7

Sooyoung drove off to some bar where she was completely intoxicated. A man approached her & offered to take her home. Being drunk & all, she agreed to go with him. He took her to a hotel & that’s where things started to heat up.

He threw her against the door & kissed her violently which was beginning to scare her slightly. She tried shoving his face away but that didn’t work since she was still feeling light-headed from all those drinks.

“No! Don’t!” She screamed, but he tossed her over his shoulder & carried her inside the room, throwing her onto the bed & pinning his body against her so that escaping is far beyond impossible.

Sooyoung woke up the next day with an empty bedside. She cried uncontrollably, not wanting to believe she was . Bruises covered her flesh every few centimetres, showing the brutality from last night. It took a long time before she gathered herself out of bed & hit the shower. She felt so horrible, ashamed & cheap. She’s never been treated so animal-like in her life.

She left the hotel & caught a taxi home, looking pale & sick. It was like the whole world had turned against her since so many miserable things had been dumped onto her recently that she didn’t want to face anything or anyone. She didn’t even want to face Jaejoong anymore. That bastard had lied to her, tore her heart so painfully & now, she was , not once but so many times, over & over again! God, last night was the worst phase in her life besides finding out the one man she loved had lied to her. As she thought about it, there was only one way to get rid of the pain.

Yuri caressed her stomach, sitting beside the window while looking out into the wonderful clear blue sky. She was pregnant again, for the second time but this time, she wouldn’t let anything or anyone kill this baby of hers. She had found out about it eight days ago & had intended to tell Jaejoong many times but something was holding her back. Yesterday’s incident had proven to her that the man had no feelings for her. It was for certain & what hurtled most was the fact that she still loved him, knowing he didn’t feel the same way about her. She cried softly to herself, tears landing on the motherhood magazine she held in her hands.

The door bursted open & Jaejoong came barging in with his sleeves rolled up. He pointed his finger in Yuri’s face with rage seeping through the pores on his face, “You.” He pulled Yuri up by the arm, twisting it, “You killed Sooyoung.”

Yuri shook her head, the magazine falling out of her hand, “What are you talking about?” Her voice trembled. He yanked her forward, “Sooyoung killed herself & you know whose fault is it? It’s yours. Do you hear me? It’s yours.” He pushed her onto the single sofa near the window.

“Sooyoung killed herself?” Yuri said in a whisper, unable to gather her thoughts.

“You must have said something to upset her yesterday! Tell me what you said Yuri!” He raised his voice, yelling in her face, startling her.

“I.” She thought back to yesterday & remembered telling her about the baby. No, she couldn’t have killed herself because of that. Yuri shook her head, feeling guilty for this sudden death.

Jaejoong grabbed Yuri’s shoulders & shook her vigorously, “I said, tell me god dammit!” He demanded, making Yuri cry hysterically.

“I only said I said I wa…”

“Tell me!” He shouted, tears streaming down his face.

“I said nothing, nothing you hear!” Yuri raised her voice.
