Yuri ignored Jaejoong as the days progressed into weeks & those weeks turned into months. Not a word was exchanged from them since that day. He still contacted Sooyoung, Yuri knew very well. She hasn’t touched alcohol but had built a very strong relationship with Mrs. Kim.

Today, the house was empty for Yuri was the only one home. Jaejoong was at his club like always or somewhere on the golf course if he had spare time. Mrs. Kim went out to a luncheon with some friends & was to return in two hours time.

The sun was warm & the sky was clear blue. In the backyard, wearing a scoop neck, sleeveless, blue cotton tank top, white riviera shorts & a floppy hat was Yuri. She was weeding the garden & planting some flowers that she had bought from the nursery yesterday when she noticed someone’s shadow behind her.

She turned around & saw Sooyoung there. She stood up to face her, dusting the soil from her gloves away, “Why if it isn’t my husband’s lover?” Yuri smirked, disgusted at the thin piece of material used to cover her s-line body.

“Glad to know you know exactly where I stand in your husband’s life.” Sooyoung smiled, crossing her arms across her chest.

Yuri breathed in as if she had no care in the world, though inside, she knew how painful she was feeling, “So, what brings you here on this lovely spring day? If you are after my husband, I’m afraid he’s not home right now.” Yuri smiled mockingly.

“I’m not here for Jaejoong Oppa. You already know that I see him every night so why would I waste my time coming here when I can wait until tonight. I’m here to have a little chat with you.” She emphasized.

Sooyoung had made her way there, determined to destroy Jaejoong’s marriage. She knew about the debt Jaejoong had to pay off before he could divorce Yuri so she decided to play around with Yuri’s emotions so she could be the one opting for a divorce instead.

“What about?”

“About this whole marriage thing between you & Oppa. I want to remind you that never will there be a day you will receive any love & attention from him. He is committed to me & to me only. Before he married you, he made promises to me & you want to know what they were?”

Yuri turned away, showing her disinterest.

“First, he promised me I’m the only woman & one true love in his life. Second, he promised we had still see each other even though he’s married. Third, he promised he had never fall in love with you & fourth, he promised he had never touch you & without asking, I’m guessing he hasn’t broken one promise yet, hasn’t he?” Sooyoung smiled derisively.

Yuri clenched her fists & swallowed that painful lump in down. Her heart squeezed tightly, sending one cold teardrop trickling down her cheek. Damn, it hurts so much but no, she will not show it in front of this ! It will only be give her what she wanted & there’s no way in the world is she allowing that to happen. As that teardrop dried, she began laughing.
