Chapter 1

She sat at the bar, drinking her sorrows away. Her mascara had smudged due to the tears she shed & the pale pink lipstick was now gone. She came from a wealthy household, anything she wanted, she could have in the blink of an eye but unfortunately, the one thing in the world she desired she couldn’t purchase. Who said being rich made you happy?

She felt someone brush against her shoulder, gently pushing her off the stool.

“Watch it, god dammit!” She complained, eyeing the man angrily.

The handsome man of probably twenty-something turned around abruptly to face her. He smirked carelessly & faced the bartender.

“Yoochun, if a Mr. Han happens to ask for me, could you send him upstairs to my office.”

“Hey.”

The man felt a hard nudge against his arm & turned towards the woman responsible, “Lady, what’s your problem?”

“Your my problem, mister.” She poked her long finger into his hard chest firmly, leaving a dent mark in his traditional fit solid no iron supima pinpoint button-down light blue dress shirt, “You owe me an apology.”

“For what?”

“For nearly knocking me off my chair.” She said, irritated.

He nodded his head slowly, “Oh, I see.” He shrugged his shoulders & turned to leave, “If you weren’t a drunk woman, perhaps you would have been smashed by now.” He said, laughing & made his way up the steel stairs, leading to his office.

“You punk faced jerk! Come back here & let me slap that face of yours!” She yelled, through the clattered atmosphere of the club but the loud music drowned her voice out.

“I wouldn’t call the owner of the club a punk faced jerk if I were you, miss.” Yoochun said, as he wiped the area.

She swung her head around hastily, “What did you say?” Her head fell forward slightly, feeling a little light-headed.

“Nothing, miss.” Yoochun smiled & went to serve another customer.

She pulled him a wry face & waved him off, ‘Like I care if he’s the owner.” She shrugged her shoulders & continued drinking until she passed out.

The club was now empty. Apart from the employees cleaning the joint up, the DJ packing up his gear & one intoxicated woman asleep on the stool with her head on the bar area.

“Miss, miss, we are closing.” Yoochun shook her gently.

“Yoochun, can you close the joint up for me?” The owner of the club threw the keys to Yoochun, failing to notice the drunken woman still in his premises.

“But we still have one customer left & she hasn’t paid yet.”

The owner walked towards where she sat & shook her arm, “Hey, lady.” He called, but she groaned in annoyance!

“Um...Mr. Kim, I forgot. My girlfriend’s meeting me at my condo in three minutes.” Yoochun said, anticipating.

“You can go, Yoochun, I will close up by myself then.” He said, “But first, I need to get this little chick out of here.” He chuckled, shaking his head amusingly.

“Thanks, Mr. Kim, & good luck.” Yoochun smiled & grabbed his guess faux leather black jacket before flying through the door. Minutes later, the DJ also left.

“Hey.” Jaejoong shook her again, but this time harder.

“Bloody hell! Stop it!” She screamed, frustrated that he was disturbing her.

“Look, my club is closed & you haven’t paid yet. Do you want me to kick you out onto the streets at five in the morning? Cause if you don’t leave & pay me, that’s exactly where you are going to find yourself.”

“Oh, is that how you treat a lady?”

“A lady?” He smirked, “If you were such a lady, you wouldn’t be here drunk.”

“So, your type of ladies are the ones who sit at home all day arranging flowers & croche
