Numbers, Part 1

Let's Learn Korean Together!

As most of you probably know, there are two different number systems in Korean. Native and Sino Korean numbers. Tody I'll be teaching you the native Korean numbers.

• 하나 - 1

• 둘 - 2

• 셋 - 3

• 넷 - 4

• 다섯 - 5

• 여섯 - 6

• 일곱 - 7

• 여덟 - 8

• 아홉 - 9

• 열 - 10

When you want to say numbers that are in between 11 and 19, you just combine 10 with which ever number you want.

Example: 12 - 열둘

• 스물 - 20

• 서른 - 30

• 마흔 - 40

• 쉰 - 50

• 예순 - 60

• 일흔 - 70

• 여든 - 80

• 아흔 - 90

For numbers 21-29, 31-39, 41-49, etc You use the same method as above, just combine the numbers.

Once you pass 100 though, you'd start using the sino korean numbers!
