• ㄱ [g/k] - Has the sound Got, Give, etc. You can always think of Gangnam Style
• ㄴ [n] - Has a basic N sound like in No or Now.
• ㅅ [s] - This consonant can have a soft s sound like in the word Sound or it can have a sharper sound like in SHe. It all depends on what follows.
• ㅁ [m] - Has a basic m sound like Move, or Make
• ㅂ [b/p] - This sound can be tricky because it's a b sound but with only a slight p sound. If you've ever head a celebrity say babo, thatd be a good example.
• ㅈ [j] - This has a j sound like in Just.
• ㄷ [d] - This has a d sound like in stuDy or Do. Both words have a d/t sound.
• ㅍ [p] - This has a p sound similar to in Power or Put.
• ㅊ [ch] - This has a ch sound like in CHeese or CHoi.
• ㅌ [t] - This has a t sound like in haT or Told
• ㅋ [k] - Has a stronger sound than ㄱ, it has the sound of Karma.
• ㅎ [h] - Sounds like Health or Have.
• ㄹ [r/l] - The sound for this is mixed between r and l. Sometimes the sound can depend on where the consonant is. For example in the word 일, the sound is a l sound. Where in 사랑 it has a mixed, r and l sound.
• ㅇ [ng] - When placed in front of a vowel, it has no sound but when placed at the end, it has a ng sound. Like when you say AnnyeoNGhasehyo
• ㅆ [ss] - This consonant can also depend on placement but most of the time it will sound like Subway.
• ㄲ [gg] - This has a stronger sound than ㄱ but less than ㅋ. Confusing right? It's something you'll have to learn. The sound is similar to how words like sCHool sound.
• ㄸ [dd] - I think that this sounds similar to sTole. It's a strong d sound that isn't pronounced as a t when spoken syllable by syllable
• ㅉ [jj] - This has a stronger sound than ㅈ. Its almost like a strong J similar to word like Judge.
• ㅃ [pp] - This has a more exasperated sound than ㅂ. It's almost like when you say words such as sPoon. The way the p sounds after s.
Ye! You've complated learning the 한글 symbols and their sounds..
