Yuri POV

 

During lunch, I sat at my usual table and waited for my friends.

“Hi, unnie!” Seo greeted.

“Oh, hey! Sit down. Where are the others?”

“I don’t know. I didn’t see them since first class.”

“Okay… Eat up!” I smiled.

After a few minutes, another voice called me.

“There you are, boy!” Jessica called.

“Who are you talking about?!” I asked angrily.

“Well, Seobaby can’t be the boy. Just look at how she dresses! So…” she said as she sat beside me.

“I’m the boy, huh?”

“Well, duh! Look at how you dress! Pants and t-shirt? So a boy.”

“You just can’t resist my boyish charms, can you, princess?” I put my face near hers.

“Ahhh! Ewww!” She swatted away my face. “Get away from me! Yuck!”

Seo and I laughed.

“That is not funny!” Sica said.

“Hey, hey! Who’s having fun without me?” Taeng said as she walked towards us.

“Join us, unnie!” Seo offered.

“What’s up? Why’s princess so angry?” Taeng asked.

“I was just teasing her~” I looked at Sica and smirked.

“Ewww!” Sica said in disgust.

“What is it this time?” Taeng asked.

“She said I’m a dude!” I complained.

“Uh… Correction: I said ‘boy’, not that language you boys use!” Sica said.

“Yah!” I gestured a fist towards her.

“Taeng, help!” Sica went up to Taeng for cover.

“Hahahaha! This is hilarious!” I laughed.

“Well, in all honesty, Yul… You do dress like a boy,” Taeng said. “Right, Seo?”

“Yeah…” Seo agreed.

“Yes, I dress like a dude, but that doesn’t make me one!” I said.

“Right, right,” Taeng said. “I conclude that it’s Sica’s fault. All in favour, raise your hands.”

Seo, Taeng and I all raised our hands.

“Case: clear!” Taeng said.

“That is not fair!” Sica complained.

“Yes, it is! The eldest decided!” I said.

“She’s right, Sica-unnie,” Seo said.

“You’re siding with this boy, Seo?!” Sica asked angrily.

“No, I’m siding with what’s right.”

“Fine, fine. You win. You all win!” Sica surrendered.

 

While we were eating, we heard some noise. Some girls were crowding up around someone and cheering.

“What’s going on there?” Seo asked.

“Must be the popular playboy again,” Taeng said.

“Who?” I asked.

“Kim Jonghyun. Everyone knows that, boy!” Sica said.

“Huh! What’s so special about that guy? I mean, come on! All he does is play with girls’ hearts, make them feel special, and in the end, what? Nothing!” I said.

“Yeah, I would never fall for that type of guy,” Taeng said.

“Me neither,” Seo agreed.

We all looked at Sica as if suggesting she would fall for a guy like Jonghyun.

“What?” she asked. “Why are you all looking at me?”

“Well, we just think that you may like a guy like him, girl,” I teased.

“No way! Ewww! If I would have a partner, he has to be rich and sweet and handsome! Besides, I already have a boyfriend!”
