The boys stared at the man, unsure of what to do. If they ran, the man might shoot them. After all, he had just gunned down the man who had been chasing them. Youngmin instinctively pushed Kwangmin behind him, then pulled out the pocket knife he always kept with him. "Who are you?" Youngmin couldn't keep the terrified waver out of his own voice.

The man smiled at him, holding the gun out and to the side so that the twins could see it. "I'm not here to hurt either one of you. I can't say as much for that guy," he replied, motioning to the dead man of the ground.

Youngmin kept his hand on Kwangmin's wrist, holding it in a protective manner. "Okay, but who are you? Why should we believe you?"

"My name is Donghyun Kim. I need to speak with you both. It's important, and you may find some answers you have been looking for, yourselves," the man smiled, stepping closer to them. "Don't you wonder why you look so much alike? Well, it's because you're special. It's the same reason that guy was after you," he turned, pulling out his gun again. "There will be more, so please come with me."

Kwangmin smiled at Youngmin, curious. Youngmin was looking at the gun. "If we can trust you, will you hand us your gun?” Kwangmin asked him. “That'll show us that you aren't some psycho killer, you know? Why was that guy after us?"

Donghyun nodded. "I understand. Here," he put the gun on safety, then handed it to Kwangmin. "Will you come with me?"

Youngmin glanced at Kwangmin, a bit irritated that he was calling all the shots. "We'll go with you."

Donghyun laughed softly. "I don't know if you realized it, but you just now said that at the same time." He shook his head. "I'm not surprised." He took the keys, jingling them. "I'll even let one of you drive. It's not far, and that'll show you that I don't mean you any harm."

Youngmin glanced at Kwangmin, who nodded. They already seemed to have a silent communication going on. "I'll drive. Where are we going?" Youngmin answered Donghyun confidently, asking his own question. The man could tell that they didn’t trust him.

Donghyun smiled at him. "You know that big, green building that's close to your school? Go there. It's where you’ll be safe."
