Jongwoon had no words to describe how happy he was when Kyuhyun revealed he was going to have a solo concert. The maknae really deserved it and despite being slightly jealous that he was never able to accomplish such an amazing feat, he couldn’t help but scream in delight to the younger male.

“I want you to be there watching when I perform, alright?” Jongwoon nodded, of course he was going to go! It wasn’t every day that a single member of a world famous idol group had a concert all to himself!

Jongwoon knew not to make promises though. He was devastated to find out, once all the tickets had be sold, that Kyuhyun wasn’t able to get any tickets because the company arranging the concert wanted all tickets to go to the fans in order to make the most amount of money. He wasn’t even sure how he would be able to break the news to the younger male. He couldn’t just go up to Kyuhyun and say “oh, sorry, I can’t come to watch you anymore, all the tickets were sold out.” Maybe he could pretend he was busy on the day of the performance? No, Kyuhyun would find out within a day because he was such an awful liar. Maybe he could just keep quiet and hope that luck was on his side such that he would magically be able to acquire a ticket to the event.

And someone due to his constant wishing and some godsend, he managed it!

“Hyung.” Jongwoon turned to see someone bending at a 90 degree angle towards him.

“Sunggyu ssi?” The other male nodded. “What’s up?”

“I got a pair of tickets to go see Kyuhyun ssi in concert. I had asked Woohyun to accompany me, but he declined saying that he had to do something else. The only person who I thought would appreciate seeing Kyuhyun ssi live would be you. I mean, you sing ballads well and stuff. I mean, if you don’t want to go it is okay, I am sure you have heard Kyuhyun’s voice a lot anyway during practice and stuff. I can always find someone else to go with me instead. Ryeowook ah might want to go with me as well.”

“N-no! I would love to go, but I mean, I would feel bad if I took a ticket and not give you something back.”

“No, no. You don’t have to. If you must, you can pick me up before the concert if you want.”

“Alright, I will pick you up at 6.”

“Sunggyu ssi, how did you get these tickets anyway? I heard the tickets sold out within minutes.” Jongwoon asked when he picked Sunggyu up from the Infinite dorms.

“Are you really questioning my ability to order tickets?” Jongwoon glared at the younger male. “I’m just kidding. I am friends with the manager of the company that are running the concert, so I just asked for a couple of tickets.”

Jongwoon nodded as he looked for a parking space, finding on the far side of car park. He sighed, it would be a relatively long walk to the arena and back. Oh well, he didn’t want to risk losing the space in trying to find a closer one. He knew that he and Sunggyu wouldn’t be able to wait outside the arena like the rest of the fans because they would be swarmed with fans begging for their autograph. He was sure that if he had proof, they would be able to go backstage first before taking their seats in the arena. He also kind of wanted to see Kyuhyun before the performance to wish him luck.

Getting in backstage was much harder than he hoped it would be. The bodyguards refused to accept that he was Yesung of Super Junior and the person next to him was Kim Sunggyu of Infinite. They were only let in when Kyuhyun saw them through the doors and invited them inside.

“Jongwoon! You came! I am so happy. It is nice to see you too, Sunggyu hyung.” Sunggyu smiled, bowing deeply to the younger male.

“Of course I would come, it is your solo concert after all. How are you feeling? Nervous?”

“I guess I am. But I mean, I have performed hundreds of stages now. I guess the difference is that everyone’s eyes are on me this time. Even so, it should be a good performance because I have been rehearsing so hard. I have even got an added surprise half way through.”

“Really? What is the surprise?”

“It wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you!” Kyuhyun grinned, walking off to his dressing room for the final preparations.

Just then, an usher came over, leading the two singers to their seats near the front of the stage. To be honest, Jongwoon was extremely excited. What did Kyuhyun mean by surprise? Maybe he was going to do some hilarious cover of a female singer. Or maybe he was going to cross dress.

Jongwoon looked around, trying to guess the number of fans sat in the arena. 4,000 maybe 5,000 odd? Wow. Kyuhyun was so amazing to have a concert just by himself as well as making it sell out! His popularity was forever continuing to grow.

The lights dimmed, and Jongwoon could see the spot light shining towards the opposite side of the stage and the youngest member of Super Junior (not including the Chinese subgroup) entered on stage, a smile stretched on his face as he waved at his fans. He sent Jongwoon a quick wink causing Jongwoon’s insides to flutter rapidly. It took Sunggyu’s strength, as he wrapped his arms around the older man’s body, to hold Jongwoon up. Jongwoon turned to look at Sunggyu and smiled appreciatively before waving his light stick up in the air along with the music.

When the song finished, the lights lit up the whole arena allowing the audience to view the singer who was stood in the centre of the stage.

“Hello everybody. My name is Kyuhyun, the lead singer of Super Junior. I am fortunate enough to be able to have a whole concert to myself where I can perform and just have a great time with you all. I have a quick surprise for you. I have been fortunate to have a supporter here who means a lot to me. He is the lead vocalist along with myself and he has come here to support me. So could Yesung hyung please come up on stage?”

What?

God damn you, Cho ing Kyuhyun.

Jongwoon could feel the heat of the spot light shine on him and Sunggyu pushed him upright. He saw an usher come towards him, urging him forward. As he took a few steps forward up the stairs, he could feel the audience cheer loudly. It had been a while since he performed and he could feel the adrenaline pump round his body. And he liked it more than ever.

“Hi, I am Yesung. I honestly didn’t know this would happen either. I will kill this maknae later on.” Jongwoon babbled, hearing the audience cheer once again.

“My main surprise is that Yesung hyung and I are going to perform a duet. He doesn’t know this, so just in case he panics, I have a copy of the lyrics here.” Kyuhyun produced a piece of paper from his pockets, handing it over to Jongwoon’s shaking hands.

As the piano accompaniment started, Jongwoon looked down at the lyrics, quickly running through the words that were scrawled on as he listened to Kyuhyun begin the lyrics. He could remember how the piece went as he listened to it go along.

He lifted up the microphone to his lips and let out his art like voice.

“Hyung you were amazing up there!” Sunggyu exclaimed when the concert had finished. Sunggyu didn’t have the opportunity to congratulate his performance with Kyuhyun until after the concert because the crowd cheering was so loud and Kyuhyun started the next song soon after.

Jongwoon was happy though. Shocked, but happy. He couldn’t wait to go backstage and tell Kyuhyun how amazing he was throughout the whole concert. He also wanted to murder the maknae for almost giving him a heart attack.

He had to be careful, there were fans beginning to crowd around him wanting his and probably Sunggyu’s autograph. Fortunately, an usher came past dragging the two singers backstage with him to see a sweaty Kyuhyun by the mirror.

“OPPA YOU WERE SO GOOD!” Jongwoon cried, laughing in embarrassment.

“Thank you Jongwoon hyung.” Kyuhyun laughed, picking up a pen which was lying on the table beside him. “Would you like me to sign something?”

Jongwoon laughed at how quick Kyuhyun was. How did he so quickly know that Jongwoon was pretending to be a hard core fan boy?

“Sunggyu hyung. Thank you for inviting Jongwoon to my concert.” Kyuhyun bowed politely at the older male.

Jongwoon spluttered. “How did you know?” he asked sheepishly.

“Because you are never that organized to get the tickets on your own.” Kyuhyun laughed, pulling the older male into a hug. Jongwoon pulled away, worried that Sunggyu might suspect something, but Sunggyu bowed deeply to Kyuhyun.

“No problem. I thought hyung would want to go anyway, that was why I invited him.”

“Anyway, Kyuhyun ah, I will see you at the dorms, I need to drop Sunggyu ssi back home.” Jongwoon waved, walking to the door and failing to notice Kyuhyun’s glare at the leader of Infinite.

“Hyung. I will forgive you this one time because you came to see me. But next time, I will not let you go on a date with Sunggyu hyung, alright?”
