“you’re the best girlfriend I have ever had! I would never want us to break up” I hugged her tight to my body “I know same with my I would never want you to leave and I won’t” she replied with a wide smile “I will never leave you either” I replied

Later that night……

“chanhee darling can you come downstairs? I need to tell you something!” my mother yelled from her bedroom.

I walked down the stairs with a little bit of a jump in my step because I just got a phone call from _____ shew said that she feels like the luckiest girl in the world! Wahhh I’m so happy.

I slowly pushed my mom room door “yes umma? What is it?” I asked her with a slight puppy eyes “son come and sit down here! This might be a lot to take in” with caution I slowly sat at the edge of my mom’s bed.

“Now son….you know that I have been seeing that man Mr. Moon (…….jongup……Moon jongup….…what a y husband he would make aye aye?? ;D)

 “well we think that it would be time that we got married…” she smiled brightly ‘well I knew that this day would come’ I thought sighing

 “son why are you sighing do you not want me to get married? Because if you don’t I won’t! I just thought that you were fine with having a new little sister and father” she got up and paced around

“what no mom tats not what I meant it’s just that I dint think that you would get married so fast after dad….you know” I looked down the  floor thinking about my late father

“son it has been 4 years I have to move on, plus you need a father figure your turning 17 this year I don’t want you to go astray because you don’t have a father figure” she now sighed

I got of the bed and made my way to the door “I’m am happy for you mom tell when you plan the wedding day” I said before walking out of the room.

“Well I better call ____ and tell her the good news”

I called my girlfriend _____.

“Hello?” she said “hey _____ it’s me just wanted to tell you some good news my mom is getting married again!” I tried to sound as happy as possible

“oh wow what a coincidence because I was just about to call you and tell you the same thing but my dad is getting married.” She sounded happy but I could tell that she didn’t, no she wasn’t ready for a step mother.
