Balance
CarouselNote: Hello. Another update to make up for the long time I disappeared. Hehe. Well, I hope you enjoy this. It's not much, but it shows how they both find balance (the title says it all) in dating publicly and keeping it something private. They're more adventurous, for once. So I hope you enjoy, because little bits build up the overall story.
When she woke up, their legs were tangled, and the windowpane showed the grey skies outside. She smiled at the sleeping figure next to her and tried to detangle herself from his embrace. He woke up to her slight movements, then grabbed her waist and pulled her backwards.
“Good morning.” He said with a raspy voice. She turned to face him and pecked his cheek.
“Good morning.” She echoed. Then her stomach grumbled. He laughed and patted her belly.
“When are you not hungry?” He asked her. She stuck out her tongue and left the room to find food. Of course, she found the food he had cooked last night. She looked at it and read his note. He was watching from the door of their room and smiled at her reaction. Satisfied, he left to go to the bathroom to wash his face.
She was dumbfounded thankful that he had changed so much, that he tried his best to understand her. Finally, she smiled and went to the bathroom where she knew he’d be. He was rinsing the soap off his face, and she hugged him from behind without a word. He smiled and finished rinsing. He rubbed her back.
“Are you going to stay like that?” He asked. She nodded, and he could feel it. “How can you be the oldest of three?” He wondered to himself, saying it jokingly.
“You’re not my younger siblings.” She said and left. He smiled at her antiques. He was happy that she would let her guard down when she’s with him. She needed an outlet too, he knew.

Just after he made sure everything was done was when he sat down next to her. He pulled her chair closer, receiving a subtle glare from her because of the sudden movement. Her reaction made him laugh.
“Let’s go to Myeongdong.” He said. “Let’s be out in public once in a while. Are you up for it?” He asked her. She looked at him, thought for a while then hesitated,
“Sound good.” Her face dubious, but curious. He smiled and nodded. It had been decided.
Once they finished showering, she changed into her light colored ripped jeans and plain white shirt. He got his white shirt and put on a black jacket over it. He stopped a while to look at her. How many times had he seen her in that outfit? Yet she still looked beautiful to him every time he saw her in it. He smiled thinking at how normal it was for her to use that set of clothing. That same white shirt, that same ripped jeans, that same light-colored sneakers. Still, it didn’t get old. He grabbed his cap, wore his sneakers and headed to the car, grabbing her hand on the way.
“I know Myeongdong’s going to be full of guys, but don’t find other guys there, ok?” He joked as they got into the car. She laughed at him and rolled her eyes. His mind was just built that way, even from early in the morning.
The ride wasn’t long, or silent. It was filled with their early morning laughs. When they got off the car, and into Myeongdong, it was busy. People were all over the place, going from one direction to another. They were barefaced. No makeups, no sunglasses, yet, he looked fine and she still looked beautiful. It wasn’t like it’s her first time being barefaced in public, people have seen it a lot. That way, they were more approachable and t
