We Need To Talk
I Wish I Didn't Love YouMei POV
Luhan was crying hysterically as I tried to begin getting ready for the charity event. His small hands clinging tightly onto my chiffon gown. It break my heart to see my son ractically begging me not to go. If I were to imagine the perfect life it would be living in a small town A town where everyone knows each other and are good neighbors. Most ideally a place where I can quietly raise my son and allow him to escape this mess.
"Ma!" he wailed as I pried his small fingers off of me and let the baby sitter calm him down as I rushed back into my bedroom trying to supress my tears.
"God why am I always crying?" I sighed as I wiped my tears after slamming the door. I quickly walked into the bathroom and stared at my pathetic reflection in the mirror. My hair slightly disheveled and my makeup also a bit smudged.
My life has been ed up from the day I've been born which I now realize.
I let out yet another sigh out of habit before grabbing a makeup towlette and cleaning my face up before redoing my hair. This was just another event for the rich and famous to flaunt their status. This life honeslty make me sick. The lack of privacy, the hiding of emotions and acting as if your fine, I find it all disgusting.
"Here" I nearly jumped from where I was standing as I heard Kris's deep voice. He was leaning casually on the bathroom door frame before he strided behind me taking the jeweled hair pin from my hands and tucking it into my hair. His hand gently grazing my neck sending chills down my spine as he adjusted my hair. I closed my eyes not daring to look at my husband.
"L-Luhan was crying" I mumbled as I felt his hands leave me.
"I figured" he said blankly as I opened my eyes and looked back intot he mirror meeting his eyes as he placed a necklace around my neck.
"What's this?" I raised my hand to my neck gently running my hand over the jewels.
"Proof your mine" he whispered into my ear before leaning down and pressing a kiss onto my shoulder.
"You look beautiful by the way." he smiled gently before giving my hand a light squeeze and leaving the room. Leaving my heart going a mile a minute and my stomach churning. Tonight was all wrong.
"Our host's for this years UNICEF charity event for childrens rights and emergency relief, we welcome Mr. and Mrs. Wu of Wu Corporations" Mr. Lim of Lim Communication announced our arrival as we entered. Our guest rising and clapping as if we were royal
